00:29So, when we give each big thing so much, the MiG-21 is our national pride, it is our
00:38protection, our safety or symbol, and how can we give it to it?
00:47So, today, when we give the MiG-21 farewell to this event, it is just a formal military
00:57and the military, it is not visible.
01:00This is a Sanskrit-Parampera.
01:04We are in the retirement of our soldiers, we are in the mighty machine, which has been
01:13decades to our wings.
04:54Can you share some emotional moments for the Vick 31?
04:58Each moment is emotional as of date.
05:06Then we are bidding farewell to such a marvellous aircraft and I swear by it, it is nothing
05:13nothing better than this aircraft of its age victor deval has entered indian air force
05:21during 1963 and it has served indian air force for more than six decades almost 62 years and
05:33it is a major fleet in indian air force which has given a fighting mom and scare in the neighbors
05:41arsenal where we fought with pakistan china and neutralized their forces where our pilots have
05:56excelled to win against these wars and this is such a beautiful mission which is so robust and
06:06it has taken the beat for so many years and it is in the inventory of indian air force and till today
06:16it is in the capacity of flight worthy position mc-21 is a very you know long story and the fact
06:26that so many people have gathered here is the fact that they are all attached to this airplane and
06:31more than two thousand pilot people are here and more than about seven thousand people have been
06:35attached to this airplane over the years as far as india is concerned maximum number of airplanes flown
06:40on a fighter type and that is uh the mic-21 and if i i may i don't know the statistics but in the world
06:46over i think before the f-16 came the largest number of airplanes manufactured in this stream were
06:52mic-21s very important airplane and mostly the eastern bloc countries uh you know the fluid it was
06:58an enigma for the uh western field they didn't wanted to know what exactly this airplane is very
07:03sleek very uh you know um thin and uh very rarely picked up on the radars and it could do its job very
07:10well uh shoot and scoot and ground attack very accurate firing air-to-air firing close combat
07:19ew electronic warfare roads you name it and it could do everything only thing is now technology has taken
07:25uh deep and this airframe it doesn't have so many uh places to fit in all the latest things and the
07:30weight restrictions the engine etc so now it's time for it to say goodbye because things have changed a lot
07:36but as far as the airplane is concerned it's still fly worthy if somebody you know a big guy wants to
07:41take 10 or 12 of these and start uh flying these airplanes probably they'll carry on for another 20 years
07:47uh there are such people world over some private guys they can fly this airplane beautiful airplane
07:52me today i am very happy to be here that our country has this workhorse
07:58uh
08:04uh
08:06uh
08:08uh
08:10we have made our country so much work and versatile ways
08:15that all the time we have been given
08:19and all the time we have been given
08:22and proved ourselves
08:24we have told you what a fighter aircraft is
08:28and we have told you
08:31that a fighter aircraft
08:33that is the same
08:36is what can we do with the hand?
08:39So, this fighter
08:42has been given us
08:45in every possible role.
08:48This has shown us
08:51how can we do this?
08:54What can we do with this?
