Chancellor defends PM amid leadership threats

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has spoken out in defence of the Prime Minister after Andy Burnham claimed Labour MPs are privately urging him to seek leadership. "When Keir ran for the leadership people said Labour couldn't come back from the defeat in 2019. He won a landslide victory just over a year ago and Keir and the government are focusing on the changes the public voted for," Ms Reeves said.  Report by Kennedyl.
