Andy Burnham says MPs are urging him to challenge Starmer

Housing Secretary Steve Reed has responded to claims by Andy Burnham that he is privately being urged by Labour MPs to challenge Prime Minister Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership. Mr Reed said: "We have heard this movie before. People in Opposition saying Keir Starmer couldn't win a general election - he then picked this party up off the floor and led us to a historic election victory." Report by Kennedyl.
