Marcos bids farewell to Chinese envoy

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sept. 25, 2025 bids farewell to Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian, saying the Philippines "will miss" him. The President received the outgoing Chinese ambassador in a farewell call in Malacañang. In his remarks, Marcos also said it was unfortunate the Philippines and China did not make progress in the West Philippine Sea dispute. Huang started his tour of duty as Chinese envoy to the Philippines in 2019.
