00:00The National Electrification Administration reported that electric cooperatives in northern Luzon have sustained around 2 million pesos worth of infrastructure damage caused by the onslaught of Super Typhoon Nando.
00:15In a situational report as of this morning on Wednesday, September 24th, the NEA said that 13 electric cooperatives in Luzon are faced with partial power outages, namely Abra, Batanes, Batangas 2, Benguet, Cagayan 1 and 2, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Naunyon, Mountain Province, Pangasinan, and Zambales 1.
00:41According to the NEA, power has been restored in 107 out of 233 municipalities, while around 307,006 consumer connections remain under restoration.
00:54By Tuesday, September 23rd, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines reported that the Luzon grid has returned to normal conditions, following repairs in affected areas.
01:05Meanwhile, the NGCP assured its readiness to monitor Tropical Storm Opong.
