00:00Good evening and welcome to the grand finale of the traitors Ireland uncloaked with me Kevin McGahern
00:0524 players 12 episodes six traitors three coffins and only one party
00:10What a series so fun Lynn as we debrief that dramatic last episode with all our finalists. Wilkin. Are you following this so far?
00:19Fair play to you. But before we go any further
00:21If you haven't watched the final episode of the traitors do that now on the RT player as this episode will be dropping more truth bombs than iron at a round table
00:30Coming up, we will have Siobhan McSweeney here to give us the lowdown and all the carry-on in the castle
00:36We will chat to the traitors turned faithful slayers Nick and Ben to unpack that final day and
00:42The winners Vanessa Ian and Kelly will be here for their first ever interview. Don't go anywhere
00:55What a finale we'll be chatting to the finalists very soon
00:58But now we are joined by the queen of the castle the magnificent Siobhan McSweeney
01:16All right, that's actually that's like 20% too much. Yeah a bit much guys will rehearse it again
01:23Siobhan how are you first of all I am
01:28Overwhelmed and bewildered actually
01:31I'm really it's this is the first time I've seen I've just called them my babies
01:35I've just seen all the contestants there and it's really gorgeous to see them all
01:39And I have been away in a bubble filming something else
01:44So I really haven't been you have many you don't know the mania that is sweeping across this country
01:50I I really don't imagine if all four Beatles were just potty. That's basically
01:55That's the level of hysteria with all the number of films we'd have about
02:01Well that finale was unbelievable was it as emotional for you as it was for the rest of us. Yes. Yes, I think I think what um oh
02:10I I think what people need to
02:13Understand is that we all went through and I think I think our lovely contestants would agree
02:19The production team and myself and we we went through it with them. We were working the same hours. I mean nobody was working as hard as potty
02:28Although nobody ate as much as potty either
02:31So I think he's he got his wages from sandwiches
02:34Well, he needed the energy the poor man didn't sleep more than 45 minutes for two weeks
02:38I think but we were all doing it together and it like a really felt like we were together. So
02:45It by the end we were all at our very last shred of sanity. Yeah. Yeah, we were all demented
02:51The series was very Irish from the cup of fuckle to the cup on tea to the ole ole and don't even talk about the Carson
02:59I now have one final important question to ask you
03:04Would you like a cup of tea?
03:08Oh
03:10Tea tea tea tea tea tea don't you know
03:12Don't drink to your coffee that makes you a traitor. You don't drink to your coffee. What the hell? Okay, what's grand? That's grand
03:19Jesus Christ Jesus Christ
03:21Jesus Christ
03:23Oh
03:25Fucked up wished
03:27No, that's fucking nasty. So it is
03:30It's not fucking say I know we're fucking fake. Oh fuck excuse me. I'm sorry
03:38We had to give potty the last words
03:46What is it about the show that made it feel particularly Irish to you?
03:50Well, I think I think we it's such a well-known franchise really and the whole challenge is to
03:57For it to be as good as the other one. Yeah
04:00And also to put our own mark on it really so it was really lovely that we were able to have the cup of fuckle that we a lot of the
04:06Iconography was very Celtic the home. I love the home. Yeah
04:10Yeah, and and lots of other things like even the the school benches BQ
04:15Yeah, with the little ink pots. That's right. Yeah PTSD getting into them, you know, I couldn't get into them then can't get into them now
04:23But for me personally it had to do with like all the Irish designers that I really wanted to can we have a round of applause for the outfits?
04:32Yeah
04:40There's such
04:41There's such a wealth of talent in this country and we tend to think that we know what that is because we're usually trying to sell it to the yanks
04:50Yeah, but actually there is such a wealth of talent when it comes to
04:54Textiles and fashion and it's not just literature
04:58But if you noticed even last night's episode a beautiful kimono that I was wearing had Cara Dielish written on it
05:04And we had Fjalltor written on things there were there were little Easter eggs there that only added to the design
05:10So I'm really proud that I got to on my
05:14Lumpin beautiful self got to showcase a few Irish designers, you know
05:18Well, they were fabulous. I've got to say thank you very much. We have to talk about our three og traitors
05:27OG crew
05:28Starting with the only female traitor
05:32Lovely you weren't like that before I tell you
05:38Starting with our only female trader Caitlin. Yeah, how do you think she managed with the other two lads on either side?
05:43There was not a bother to her what I what made me giggle about Caitlin was the way she came in like Pippi Longstocking
05:50Hi, I am innocent. I'm not you like my earrings
05:54I wear pigtails. I must be non-threatening one of the smartest
06:00most powerful
06:02Women I know just looking at her don't don't don't don't don't don't absolutely extraordinary
06:06But god bless you for thinking a few flowery dresses, but
06:11Otherwise, but by God you were well able well able for for the two boys and I mean like
06:18Eamon was
06:20Extraordinary, I mean, I think Eamon like the biggest villain we've had ever. Yeah, I mean move over Cromwell
06:27But what I loved about Eamon is that Eamon for me and he's just behind the camera there so I can't see him. Is he glaring at me?
06:37No, you are my beautiful boy and
06:41The thing about Eamon which I found so interesting because remember I was learning along with you as well
06:46You know like we were all guinea pigs this time round weren't we next year if there is one next year what'll it be like? Yeah, anyway
06:55hats lots of hats
06:57But Eamon went in with a game plan didn't he and he was like and I was like there's something about this show
07:04That if you go in with a game plan, you're almost like look at Paul D. I don't think Paul D
07:11He lasted so it's almost a question of being able to adapt on the hoof
07:16You know there was a real three different approaches to Paul D sort of wrote you like a jazz musician
07:21I've got it like he was just going day by day. What's happening now? Okay, I'm moving this way. All right
07:26No, I'm gonna move this way. Yeah, Eamon Eamon had a strict
07:30Sort of plan that he wasn't gonna deviate from and I wonder whether that was how he was found out at the end
07:37You know like do you need to be more flexible? It's very interesting
07:40Yeah, but also how are you to know until you go in there? Do you think Paul D is a genius? I?
07:48Do I can't trust that answer after the longest laugh in the world
07:54Will you be voting for party in the coming election? Oh, but I'm running his campaign
07:58Very good
08:01I'd like to live in a country run by body. It's like free sandwiches at every bus stop
08:08Like no parents no parents would ever say who their favorite child is. Yeah, but come on. Who's your favorite child? Oh, I couldn't say Diane
08:17What
08:24What is it about Diane you love so much? Well, there's there's two and by favorite what I mean is sort of like people who I wish I saw a bit more
08:33Like Diane you were absolutely wonderful and Diane for me
08:36You are the epitome of a kind of Irish woman that I don't see enough of on telly and you should have been there longer
08:43And also what I loved about you is that you were completely authentically yourself
08:49And so the eyebrows going up
08:51You were being accused
08:54Somebody explained the rules
08:57You were absolutely out for it. Why are they trying? That's the game Diane. That's the game
09:04And no, I thought you were wonderful and I was gotcha to see you go you have you've an absolutely wonderful energy about you and I enjoyed you immensely
09:12I also really enjoyed Joe
09:16Yeah, I really
09:24And I mean I say I
09:26You know, I'm picking the two of these obviously, you know that I loved every single one of you and do you give it a damn anyway whether
09:32I do
09:36You've been their mother figure for the last four weeks and that is why we're a nation of dysfunctional people
09:42But that final day was incredibly tense. Yeah, it kind of became the girls versus the boys
09:48Yeah, do you have any inclination as which way it was going to go?
09:50No, I didn't but like that was it the whole way through we I've never I've never done a job like this before and by the end
09:59I was saying I will never do a job
10:02Like this again because you would start your day
10:06In the middle of the night and you did not know when you were going to finish work for that day
10:10Yeah, you just did not know you would think every single time I went into the round table going I know what's going to happen
10:17The production team would go we know what's going to happen
10:19We know how many cars we need or what a lala and like maybe tell catering we don't need the sandwiches at midnight
10:25I would know
10:27It would all change
10:29We could never ever ever call it. I think that's why it was such an enjoyable show to yeah
10:34Yeah, you just couldn't tell well you brought so much to this series from your fabulous costumes to your fierce one-liners
10:39You have been the ultimate queen of the castle. Let's remind ourselves
10:44Hello lovelies at the good times roll
10:47Oh, what an outfit
10:50I'm obsessed with everything Siobhan wears. Hiya. Oh, hey
10:56Apologies having a bath Nick and Ben
10:59You were nowhere near nowhere near it at all like honestly dudes welcome to my little sanctuary
11:06Hello, too good to kneel
11:09Baby dolls by placing a fish show
11:13Vanessa this will go much quicker when you don't annoy me open
11:19And now, you know, no, it was daddy all along
11:24We're Dave
11:28There's so few of you look
11:30Yeah, yeah, yeah
11:32Time for you to commit your first murder
11:36Delighted with himself
11:38Laters traitors
11:41Siobhan on behalf of the nation
11:43On behalf of the nation, I'd like to say Gura Mahagat. You did a phenomenal job
11:56You brought class cuplafuckal and most importantly crack to the traders ireland 2025
12:01Thank you
12:04Thank you
12:06Thank you
12:08Oh god
12:08Another another two people who brought energy of a very different kind where our traitor slayers turn backstabbers
12:14Where there's Nick there's Ben this little bromance was like shooting a 65 around the golf course at the weekend
12:20Whatever the fuck that means
12:22It's an emotional rolling around the bed and a load of 50 or else
12:32I'm so close to Nick in here and that's my thought on every breakfast is he gonna be there
12:38Thank you
12:41There's no denying Ben is my best mate in here. He's had my back. I don't know how many times
12:46Why do you think it's me you'd be like wanting to save me if I'm a traitor
12:50You're the first person who goes because you'll see straight away the change in me
12:54I really don't know who it is
13:02Think I need you so Ben do you accept? I accept
13:07Did he look after me or did he look after me looking forward to getting him on board working with him and uh murdering
13:14Welcome to the conclave. How are you feeling happy to be here now that I'm looking across my hood is with me
13:19You're both very delighted aren't you? Yeah, couldn't have worked out better than Hank, no
13:33Nick and Ben
13:35What a series you both had from faithfuls to traitors, but at least you had each other
13:41So when exactly did you both realize that you'd found the one?
13:46Straight away straight away it was like
13:48Yes
13:50I gotta I gotta ask the synchronized arrow pull that looked rehearsed no
13:55I actually naked doing it actually I think when we got a trailer before I can't remember which one and I was like
14:00Like that so then it was like when we caught another one was like come on
14:06It was a beautiful synchronization. I gotta say you got so far in the game lads. Did you get too cocky in the end?
14:13Yes
14:15Yeah
14:20Describe
14:21Describe how you were feeling on that last day
14:27Well, it was a mixed emotion and we obviously the admission was incredible. It was incredible to share with obviously our friends
14:32Um, but there's the thought in the back of your mind of what's to come and every round table was so intense
14:38So we knew eventually what was to come and uh
14:40Yeah, yeah, and also you're thinking about what happened the previous night as well
14:44Yeah, so kind of when everyone's coming in for breakfast no one's as you can see as you could say no one's really talking or
14:50It was awkward. Yeah, so it was like the breakfast after a wedding after somebody like punched a brother
14:55Yeah, exactly
14:57That's the crosshands there
14:59Nick I gotta say though. I like that last round table where there was a lot of heat on you
15:04Like the girls came with receipts
15:06They were on you, but you remained I gotta say very very cool and collective. I don't know. I would have crumbled
15:13Yeah, I probably pushed about a little bit too far for that. I'm probably
15:17God much, but like I had to fight my corner. I had to go for it
15:20So it was never gonna back down. We wanted to we wanted to give it our all so uh
15:24All or nothing have to try and win, but ultimately they called us out in our bs
15:28We were both shocked with that though because when we were talking we thought they were gonna come for me
15:32So then you can see actually in the show when they say I think someone goes for Nick
15:37And he's like
15:38Because he wasn't expecting we were we were ready to defend defend band, so I had like this pitch for Ben
15:43I was like let's go and then she comes to me and I was like oh
15:47Well, we got a bone to pick with you over Faye like lads. He's you backstabbed your best friend
15:52How could you have done that for it's a it's just like a panto audience
15:58Not good we um yeah, we did we struggled with this with this one for ages because obviously the name of the game is to get to the
16:04Final and get the money and we were on one side Faye was on the other so for us to win it
16:09We would have to do it eventually
16:11Yeah, so it was a mercy killing
16:12Yeah, well, we actually didn't know what would be worse taking her to the final and having to do it or or doing it then
16:18But so basically you did her a favor. You're welcome
16:21You're welcome
16:24Show a bit of gratitude Faye actually
16:27Yeah, no, it was it was horrible like we felt terrible for what we did
16:30Yeah, like you could see in a reaction
16:31You could totally see it
16:32We didn't want to do it, but it is still just a game so
16:35Do you think though if you kept her in he could have won?
16:38100%
16:39Yeah, but yeah
16:41There's that confidence I was talking about earlier
16:43Yeah
16:44The fact that we don't know we all I still felt anyway, we could still do that and possibly win the game as well
16:52We might have had a better chance if we had kept her but yeah
16:55I don't know if it felt like it just slipped away when we did it though
16:58It was it it just with how strong Owen was at that table
17:02She was incredible and it just felt like we had to go that way to save face a little bit
17:06And when when we obviously got rid of Faye, then it was kind of like, okay
17:10We're we're really going to struggle now to pull the wool over there. They were so smart. Those three of them are so smart
17:15So hard to get by them and obviously they they they caught us
17:19Well, Nick you were the man responsible for taking out future president of this country party
17:24Have you anything to say to the nation who are still in mourning? I know it's tough party was party was party
17:32That could mean anything
17:34And I meant exactly that
17:36No party party played a brilliant game like well, I didn't mean to go for but I wanted to like go on longer with party and
17:43obviously Pat called me out and
17:46The day before with the letter rip I had Andrew there and I should have the next day gone for party
17:50But I didn't because I I was trying to be loyal in that moment
17:53So it kind of came across like I was going for party and he he thought I was going for him
17:57But I really wasn't but I was just trying to make sure there was no suspicion on me
18:00So it had to go that way. I think Paulie thought I was going for him, which I really wasn't. Oh my god
18:06That's fair. Can I can I ask a question please do do your wives trust you now?
18:25Women leaving
18:27They do we love them so yeah, I knew we were only playing a game, so I think
18:37Siobhan, you're not helping Siobhan, come on here you said damage control
18:41Well, once he had Paulie out of the way there was only one man for the job and that was your bestie of course
18:47Ben, how did it feel to go from faithful to traitor so late in the game?
18:50Yeah, I found it really difficult. I really did I struggled with if and obviously me force murder with Amy
18:57It was me force myself. I was kind of a bit of excited with that one
19:00Sorry, everyone remembers their first time
19:05But no after that yeah, I struggled with it
19:07But not even just with the murders being a traitor with the banishments and knowing
19:13That they're not a traitor and people are going after them and seeing how upset they get like I did actually struggle
19:18But it was difficult but again
19:20You just have to keep on trying to bring it back that it's a game
19:22It's a game but in the moment it is it is really difficult and you struggle
19:26Well, Nick you had main character energy from day one. Let's remind ourselves
19:32Who do you think is the leader of the group move faster
19:35Nick, what are you at? What do you mean what am I at?
19:38Because it's one lie on top of another
19:39I'm sick of being a traitor
19:41I'm just going to say to you, Eamon, feel me once shame on me, but feel me twice shame on you
19:46Gotcha
19:47Dear Nick, we wish to recruit you
19:49I obviously went into the room and I just gave the big one on the camera
19:52At this stage the game is going to turn ugly and you're going to have to start eliminating people you just don't have that trust with
19:57Are you willing to join me as a traitor?
19:59I'm a faithful slayer now and I'm coming for them
20:02This is my game plan if I execute it, it'll be like shooting a 65 around the golf course on the weekend
20:07You're so like a brother. I'm actually we're only just saying there your wife is so lucky like
20:11Want a hug?
20:11No
20:12Well, thank you
20:12The most trustworthy person for me is Nick
20:15Hey, I think it's you. I'm sorry
20:17I feel sick putting your name down
20:18This is the hard part like both
20:19It's just
20:20Hey, think about your kid. Fuck this is not the hard part
20:22Having my daughter at a young age
20:24She is my best friend
20:26If I won something we'd go to probably Disneyland with the kids
20:29You'll make the wrong decision on me if you go with me
20:31Pauly was half right
20:33I'm a traitor
20:48So Nick, what you know, what was it like watching that back?
20:51It was unbelievable
20:53And I don't sure that didn't look like main character mainly main clan energy, but it was good fun
20:59And to share the experience with the 24 cast members was epic. They're all I'm so close to them all
21:05They're all legends every single one of them and obviously I had a special experience with Ben, which was incredible
21:12It hasn't been a jab
21:15But it was yeah, the hold your like I played it as a game
21:18I probably pushed the boundaries of a lot of things
21:21Siobhan give us a break
21:24Well, Ben you were voted the best at the missions you're an army man
21:28You're used to pressure
21:30Let's remind ourselves of you taking control of the situation
21:33I'll go in the middle you go on the left me and Christine will go on the right
21:38Joe you're gonna use go on the left
21:39I'm not on the left yeah
21:40This is the mission that I'm buzzing for
21:42Yeah, as soon as you hear a bit of water I'm all over it
21:45Yeah, put y'all in the middle
21:51We have to carry it guys, we have to carry it
21:54We have to carry it into the water
22:06Now Ben, I'm no military strategist, but I know that the first step to sailing is you put the boat
22:15In the water was that the hardest two weeks of work you've done since joining the army?
22:20Christine always likes me about it, but I always said to her I'm in the army, I'm not in the navy
22:26And you're not going to be anytime soon
22:29Let's talk about that final day and that final round table
22:32Nick it all fell apart for you at that round table like what was your game plan going in?
22:36Game plan was Kelly from the get-go we knew it was 2v2 so just tried to turn Kelly in some way or another
22:42We said we'd go for Vanessa over a win and just turn Kelly, but she saw right through us
22:47And you thought the heat was on Ben going in?
22:49That was the big problem we were like we were kind of building Ben's defense
22:52So when Ian brought it to me I was going oh no like what do I even say here?
22:56And she was so strong it was impossible to
22:57When Ian puts those lasers on you I'd say here her heart just shrinks
23:02Sinking behind the round table
23:04Ben you made it one step further to endgame, what was it like standing there as the last traitor?
23:10Without your boy. Yeah, I know yeah like and to be fair
23:12He left a little breadcrum for me like with the the party comment and
23:17I still knew the game was up anyway
23:18Like I still knew that the girls are gonna get it right like they were they were brilliant
23:22They copped it once Kelly had kind of made her mind up like I kind of knew what way it was going to happen
23:27Did you ever think you know I can win this?
23:30No
23:31Well, Nick you gave us one of the most memorable moments on the show would you mind one last time?
23:41Giving us the big one
23:43Unbelievable Ben and Nick everybody
23:59After the break we will have the first exclusive interview with the winners of the traders don't go anywhere
24:04Welcome back to the finale of the traders ireland uncloaked we are here with siobhan mcsweeney runners-up nick and ben
24:29And let's give a round of applause for the winners vanessa oyen and kelly
24:38Ladies
24:41That was phenomenal stuff like holy moly you're the whole country shouting at the telly like it was italian 90
24:49Vanessa, how does it feel to have won the traders? Oh unreal like it just means like all those tears actually meant something
24:56So yeah, no really happy delighted
24:58Oh, and has it sunk in yet?
25:00Um, I think it's like living it for the second time again. So yeah, definitely and you get to enjoy it with the whole audience as well
25:07Kelly now you said on the show that if you won you would pay off your parents mortgage
25:13Are you going to keep that promise absolutely? I'm a woman of my word? No doubt about it. Can you?
25:23Every parent's dream that's every parent's dream. Can you reveal how much is left on the mortgage?
25:29Turns out and I didn't know this a whopping 50 euro
25:33Yeah, you definitely knew that making that yeah
25:41Kelly when you were filming the show, what did you tell your friends and family you were doing?
25:46Um to be honest, it was kind of easy for me
25:49So I told them I was just going to work in Galway
25:51But I had been like planting the seed because the whole thing for me was
25:54None of my friends would believe that I would go off my phone for two weeks willingly
25:58And I couldn't say I was going on retreat because they wouldn't believe me about that either
26:01So I had to kind of I started planting seeds really early on
26:04And it's like something my dad would do that he would like challenge me
26:06So I was like, you know what girls my dad has been saying like I bet you like 200 quid
26:11You can't go off your phone for two weeks. I was like, you know what?
26:14I'll take that bet. And so yeah, now they think I'm 200 euro richer like little do they know it's a little bit more than 200 euro
26:20oh
26:31i am i am delighted the three of you one, but like because it felt
26:36towards the end it just felt like you know that
26:41girl on girl i was gonna say
26:43But you know, turning on each other and sort of accusing each other and it's all very understandable
26:51Misunderstandings and all this stuff and the two boils they're going can't believe we're getting away with it
26:56Don't move
26:57Don't say anything
26:59Don't say anything
27:00If you move they might catch you and then go for you, whatever
27:03So I was really, really, I just didn't think it would happen
27:08And Oyan watching the final there and just seeing you at the breakfast table go
27:15Like the meme that we all can think of
27:19That would be
27:21She made a little
27:23She got it
27:24Yeah
27:25Because you have to remember I didn't see everything as much as I pretended I saw everything
27:29I was probably putting a hat on in another room
27:31So I didn't know when the turn happened
27:35When he so slowly but ever like brought the ship around very slowly and started edging towards the iceberg
27:42Yeah, it was not
27:44Away from the iceberg
27:45I think it was, I remember Kelly, you said at breakfast table like, God, maybe it's the two lads
27:48Maybe it's the two lads
27:49Oyan just went, oh
27:50Yeah
27:51I don't know what are the chances but Oyan was like
27:54Yeah, it was the first time we were like comparing notes and we were like, pause
27:57Yeah
27:58And then we were like, oh no
27:59Yeah
28:00We were like, it really just
28:01We'd done that stuff
28:02Yeah
28:03Yeah
28:04Oyan, were you sure at that moment?
28:06As soon as the penny dropped?
28:08Is that the way your brain goes?
28:09You go, oh
28:10Dun dun dun dun
28:11Damn
28:12Yeah
28:13Definitely
28:14You knew then
28:15I was sure
28:16And then obviously Ben walks in after I'm like, oh, we were just talking about you
28:19So like
28:20Did you, did you notice a change in, in the, well I suppose
28:23No, still, I'm still just worried about myself
28:25Like you could see the breakfast before when I messed up with Kelly's
28:28Yeah
28:29Yeah
28:30That was another great meme actually
28:31Yeah
28:32Yeah
28:33Yeah
28:34Yeah
28:35Yeah
28:36Yeah
28:37I was like, was, was a nice guy
28:38Kelly, you had all the power going into that last day with the, you had the swing vote
28:42Yeah, crazy
28:43Like a lot of pressure, you had a big decision to make and it finally all clicked into place
28:47Yeah
28:48Oh
28:49My thing with 40 is, right
28:50He was like, protect the girls, fuck the lads
28:53And then all of a sudden he has Vanessa's name down
28:55And then just, throw, throw, throw the blame on me
28:57He was definitely kind of trying to sway my decision
29:00And then he just kind of realised, okay, I'm, I'm gone, so
29:03I'll throw out the person I'm angry's at and it's name, kind of thing
29:06Yeah
29:08Or the person he recruited to name
29:10Yeah
29:11I don't know
29:14As in, what?
29:16I'm not thinking because I'd yet to add a lot of ideas
29:20Mmm
29:22That was a sweet little trap you set there for Nick
29:25Like you, I like the little side eye where you're like
29:27And he was like, yeah, well, yeah
29:30I was focused on the next thing I was going to say
29:32I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, what am I going to say
29:34You still had Potty's name ready to go
29:36Yeah, yeah, yeah
29:37Kelly, was that the turning point for you?
29:39To be honest, still no
29:40Like that entire character and he was so crazy
29:42Like I was like, okay, well, it's Nick 100%
29:44But I still like, maybe he's not working with Ben
29:47Maybe like, it was just such a bigger picture then
29:49That I felt like I had to piece together
29:50And then I was like, maybe he's like, there was just so many
29:53I was just saying so much crap as well
29:54I'd say she was just dizzy nearly listening
29:56Yeah, because he was going one way to another
29:58And it was like
29:59He came back to me and was like
30:00I've been working on Kelly in the car here
30:01And I was going around
30:02Yeah
30:03I don't know, that was like, that was the end of us
30:05Yeah
30:06I think I have her, Ben
30:08Yeah, yeah
30:09Come on, come on
30:10We are back
30:11I think we have a chance here
30:12I think we have a chance
30:13Victory laugh
30:14I was like, you're an idiot
30:15Oyan, were the three of you strategising that final day?
30:18Um, we didn't really talk about game plan, honestly
30:21I think we just kind of said Nick's name
30:23And we were like, okay
30:24And that was it
30:25We just went into the round table
30:27And we were just like, okay
30:29We're just going to grasp our straws really
30:32And just try our best to pin it on Nick
30:35Because we really did feel like
30:36Well, myself
30:37I felt it was Nick at that point
30:39And I was like, I'm not
30:40Like, it's not going to be me leaving the round table
30:42It's going to be Nick
30:43So
30:44It's a bad place to be
30:45Yeah
30:47That last round table was so tense
30:50Once Nick was banished
30:51Ben, like, what was going through your head?
30:53Oh, it's the same
30:54So I put my head down
30:56And I was like, Roy
30:57Pretend like you're shocked
30:58With that Nick
30:59And something like that
31:00But then I stayed there for that long
31:01That I was like
31:02Well, I can't celebrate now either
31:03So I just stayed there for an extra
31:04And I was like
31:05What am I going to do here?
31:06And I think it was about five minutes
31:08And I'm still just like that
31:09You could have gave a very, very sad arrow
31:12Oh, yeah
31:13Straight to his heart
31:14Yeah
31:17Kelly and Ian
31:18Like, ye were celebrating like mad
31:20Yeah
31:21Vanessa, you reacted very differently
31:22Were you just done at that point?
31:24I was done about three days before
31:25Like, I was, like, begging production to go home
31:28Like, I just wasn't having it anymore
31:30It was just so much tougher than it was
31:33In the last two days
31:34We'd just been so wrong
31:36And I was just so deflated
31:37And I was sick of being in the middle of everything
31:39And it's just like
31:40Even going into the round table
31:41Like, even coming into breakfast actually
31:43I just didn't care
31:44Like, I really didn't care anymore
31:45I actually thought
31:46Nick was going to win
31:47And actually
31:48Like, like, convince Kelly
31:50Because, like, Kelly had not been
31:51She'd voted for me twice, I think
31:53She'd already told me
31:54She didn't, like, trust me
31:55And I actually didn't even bother
31:56Trying to convince Kelly
31:57Like, I genuinely
31:58Didn't care about the money anymore
31:59I just wanted to go home
32:00Wow
32:01It was just
32:02It's very, like, emotional in there
32:03And it's
32:04I know it's a game and all
32:05But, like, it genuinely just got to me
32:07And I was just like
32:08Nah, I just
32:09I'd rather just go home
32:10And let the guys play, like
32:11Like, I feel it is important to
32:13To say, like
32:14It is only a game
32:15And these are real people
32:17What?
32:18Apart from Siobhan McSweeney
32:21Siobhan McSweeney is
32:23I'm a real boy
32:24A demigod of some kind
32:26From our perspective
32:27We have to push the boat so far
32:29With the faithfuls
32:30That, like, it probably does nearly become too much
32:33And you just have to keep pressing
32:35So, like, you don't want to say stuff
32:38But you nearly have to push the boat so far
32:40To try and, like, deceit them
32:42So it's terrible what we have to do
32:44And we definitely upset the girls along the way
32:46Which we're sorry for
32:47And personally I never meant to do that
32:48But it's just part of
32:50It is just a game
32:51Yeah
32:52And you just have to go that way
32:53And I think there is
32:54There is a place for, like, you know
32:57Slagging
32:58On Twitter
32:59And on stuff like that
33:00But, like, just don't make it mean
33:02You can do it in a fun, creative way
33:04Yeah, come on!
33:10I just want to talk
33:11To end that by saying
33:13Like, until you've been through
33:15What these lads have been through
33:17They're...
33:18Until you've been through what I've been through
33:20Being interrupted and all, right?
33:22Like, I was saying earlier
33:25Like, we went through it all together
33:26Production went through it with ye
33:28Like, it is so intense
33:31People behave...
33:32I behaved in a way
33:33That I don't recognise
33:36Good, bad or indifferent
33:38Because you're in extremis
33:40You're in extremis
33:41And we're doing it for ye
33:43For your entertainment
33:44So, cop on
33:45And don't be able
33:46So, cop on
33:47And don't be able
33:52We're all lovely
33:53We're all lovely
33:54Moving...
33:55Moving swiftly on to end game
33:56Nessa
33:57Can I call you Nessa?
33:58We're not friends
33:59But me
34:00LAUGHTER
34:01Wow
34:02Just met your life
34:03When...
34:04When Ben rode Nessa on that slate
34:06How did that make you feel?
34:07Honestly, like
34:08It wasn't a game for me
34:10Like, I find it really hard to kind of separate
34:12Like, myself and a game
34:13Like, I'm just always me
34:15I'm always on
34:16So, in that moment
34:17I really was just trusting Kelly and Oyen
34:19Like, I was being part of the team
34:21And playing as a team
34:23But honestly
34:24It was nearly impossible
34:26For me to fathom Ben as a traitor
34:28I understood it logically
34:30But in the game
34:31I was just like
34:32There's no way he could be a traitor
34:34The exact same way
34:35If Oyen became a traitor
34:36I would've been the last person
34:37Who would've clocked it
34:38So, I was just kind of
34:39I knew Nick was a traitor
34:41And I, like
34:42I think I was coming at you the day before
34:43And all
34:44But it's like
34:45When it came to just Ben
34:46It's like
34:47I knew logically
34:48It makes sense for Nick
34:49To have recruited him
34:50Or for them to have been working together
34:51But I just couldn't
34:52I couldn't fathom him being it
34:54And when he wrote that
34:55I just absolutely broke down
34:56Because at that stage
34:57It's like
34:58It's no longer a game
34:59It's now
35:00It's money
35:01You know what I mean?
35:02Like, he's taught me about his family
35:03He's taught me about his kids
35:04He's taught me about the plans that he has
35:05And it's like
35:06Am I gonna actually do this
35:07To somebody I'm seeing as a friend?
35:08It's not too personal
35:09You know what I mean? Exactly
35:10And it's like
35:11I'm already an emotional wreck
35:12But that just
35:13That was it
35:14It done me like
35:15That last day in the ca-
35:16Sorry that was too much
35:17What?
35:18What?
35:19Kelly
35:20That last day in the castle
35:21It was incredibly tense
35:22Yeah
35:23Do you want to sort of keep your spirits up?
35:24Yeah
35:25They actually didn't show it
35:26But we ended up playing hide and seek
35:27Across the castle
35:28Yeah
35:29Because obviously like
35:30There was 24 people to begin with
35:31Like that castle was crowded
35:32Like you couldn't walk into a room by yourself
35:34So like all of a sudden
35:35We realised there was five of us
35:36And we had the whole place to ourselves
35:37So
35:38It was literally
35:39Like we were like
35:40Kids in a playground
35:41Running around the place
35:42Hiding under the couch
35:43Like it was
35:44It was like
35:45The cameraman trying to chase us
35:46Yeah
35:47Yeah
35:48Ben's like behind the door
35:49I didn't find him one day
35:50But I get pulled for an interview
35:51And Owen's there looking for me for ages
35:52But I'm upstairs
35:53Nick
35:54I'm like Nick
35:55This is unbelievable
35:56I mean the other option was looking at Ben and Nick
35:58Do you push-ups again?
35:59Like
36:00Yeah
36:01Well like me sitting on Ben while he does it
36:05I'd love if Wilkin was still somehow in the castle
36:07When you were playing hide and seek
36:09He was
36:10He was
36:11Now
36:12Now, Owen the Oracle
36:13You were so perceptive
36:14Wow
36:15From the beginning
36:16Wow
36:18But I was trying to think of it
36:19From a different point of view
36:21And I'm thinking
36:22Because Eamon
36:23I'm very hung up on him being a traitor
36:25And then Caitlyn too is on my radar
36:26I'm thinking
36:27Is this like a
36:28Like a fight between traitors?
36:30Is it like they feel like you're a weak link
36:31And they're trying to like
36:32Come for you?
36:33I feel like my intuition is right
36:35And
36:36I feel like you're a traitor
36:37So I voted for you Caitlyn
36:39I feel like you and Eamon
36:41Were working together
36:42There was a blackmail last night
36:44I feel like it would have been you
36:46Even if you weren't a traitor yesterday
36:47You could be a traitor today
36:48I'm a traitor
36:49I voted for you Pony
36:53I just feel like
36:55You were feeling
36:56With Eamon and Caitlyn
36:57And just
36:58It's all too coincidental
36:59For me to just
37:00Look over
37:01Yep
37:02Wow, wow
37:03Yeah
37:04Back to back to back
37:06Yeah
37:08Owen, the nation wants to know
37:11Are you a clairvoyant
37:12And what are this week's lotto numbers?
37:14Oh
37:15Well
37:16There's a fee for that
37:17But anyway
37:18Um
37:19Clairvoyance
37:20I'd say
37:21It's more just
37:22A lot of tanking
37:23I spent a lot
37:24Of time
37:25In my head
37:26In the castle
37:27Um
37:28And with my journal at night
37:29So
37:30It was really just working backwards
37:32And every single day
37:33I'd go back
37:34And just like
37:35Write down the hints
37:36And the clues that I would find
37:37And then I would kind of just like
37:38Work it all together
37:39So at the beginning
37:40I kind of wrote down
37:41The people's names
37:42Who I taught were traitors
37:43Who could be traitors
37:44And then people's names
37:45I thought just couldn't
37:46And I actually had
37:47All the traitors
37:48On the people that
37:49Could be traitors
37:50On my list
37:51So I kind of like
37:52Worked backwards that way
37:53And then
37:54Yeah
37:55Pretty much
37:56That's how it works
37:57Yeah
37:58Yeah
37:59Yeah
38:00Unbelievable
38:02Well I think
38:03I think I speak for the audience
38:05In saying that
