00:00:00News coming in this morning, State Department statement, and Rubio Jaisankar meeting.
00:00:05Secretary of State Marco Rubio has met with the Indian External Affairs Minister,
00:00:10Supramaniam Jaisankar on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly High Level Week.
00:00:16Secretary Rubio reiterating that India is in a relationship of critical importance to the United States,
00:00:21expressed his appreciation for the Indian government's continued engagement on a number of issues,
00:00:27including trade, defense, energy, pharmaceuticals, critical minerals, and other items related to the bilateral relationship.
00:00:36Secretary Rubio, External Affairs Minister Jaisankar have agreed the United States and India will continue working together
00:00:42to promote free and open Indo-Pacific region, including through the Quad.
00:00:48I'm going to go straight across to Pranay for more details this morning.
00:00:51A very good morning to you, Pranay.
00:00:53Talk to us about the fine lines of this, what has been discussed between the two leaders
00:00:58in terms of the way forward as far as India and U.S. is concerned.
00:01:02This, of course, comes in the backdrop of a high, you know, level of tensions that we've seen
00:01:07between both the countries, both on the trade front and now, of course, on the visa front as well, isn't it?
00:01:13Good morning, Sina.
00:01:14And definitely this is a very brief statement which has been put out by the U.S. State Department.
00:01:20We are still expecting the statement from the Ministry of External Affairs on the meeting
00:01:24between EM Dr. S.J. Shankar and Secretary Marco Rubio.
00:01:29But if you see the fine lines of this statement, this clearly highlights the importance of India-U.S.
00:01:35ties and the continued engagement between the two sides.
00:01:38Despite having all these issues which you mentioned, be it trade, be it Jabar issue, be it the visa issue, be it the tariff issue,
00:01:47and be it the other aspects of it, but India remains engaged with the United States.
00:01:54And if you see the social media post put out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in response to President Donald Trump's remarks,
00:02:02there also Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the fact that this relationship,
00:02:06India values this relationship, and India remains committed to enhance the partnership with the United States.
00:02:12And this is an aspect of it that this is the first meeting between the two foreign ministers after Operation Sindhu.
00:02:20This is the third meeting in this year.
00:02:23But this meeting came at a very crucial and a very critical juncture.
00:02:26And definitely all these issues which you mentioned and the other aspect of it,
00:02:30that how to take forward this relationship, how to repair the relationship,
00:02:35how to minimize the damage to the relationship,
00:02:40how to take it to the further high-level contact between the two leaders as well,
00:02:45how to take forward that.
00:02:47All these aspects have been discussed between the two leaders when Dr. Jai Shankar and Marco Rubio met,
00:02:55because they are both very seasoned politicians and diplomats,
00:02:59and they know how to do to minimize the differences and maximize the agreement.
00:03:04We'll leave it at that for the moment, Pranay Upad.
00:03:07They're getting in more details on that story that is a developing one.
00:03:12It's an important meeting that has taken place between the Secretary of State,
00:03:16Marco Rubio, and Indian External Affairs Minister, Mr. Shankar.
00:03:21Big developments in India-US ties.
00:03:24From a thaw in Modi-Trump ties to Jai Shankar, Rubio diplomacy,
00:03:27to the H-1B visa controversy, and trade talks.
00:03:30The India-US story is only but evolving.
00:03:34And make no mistake, it affects you and me more than you think.
00:03:38External Affairs Minister, Jai Shankar, met US Senator Marco Rubio in New York
00:03:43for such meetings since the tariff war clouds darkened our trade ties,
00:03:47and the H-1B visa row exploded.
00:03:50Both sides have spoken about bilateral and global issues,
00:03:53agreed on sustained engagement, and said they will stay in close touch.
00:03:57In short, the channel of conversation stays open.
00:03:59Trade tensions and visa issues escalate as the US announces H-1B visa fees,
00:04:05though the White House has suggested doctors and medical residents might be exempt.
00:04:09Many unanswered questions remain.
00:04:12What about students moving from F-1 to H-1B visa?
00:04:16What about those waiting on the 2026 lottery?
00:04:19And what about techies switching jobs at Google, Amazon, or Infosys?
00:04:24The confusion isn't over.
00:04:29More news coming in.
00:04:35Donald Trump is to meet Shahbaz Sharif at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
00:04:41Trump, Shahbaz Sharif meet on the sidelines of the UNGA.
00:04:45Discussions will focus on regional security, humanitarian issues in Gaza,
00:04:50Pakistan's role in promoting peace.
00:04:52There's a story developing at this point in time.
00:04:54Not the first meeting in the last few months or so.
00:04:58In fact, there have been several rounds of talks that have been held,
00:05:01between the US and Pakistan.
00:05:04This time, the top leadership meeting once again.
00:05:07A meeting certainly that India is going to be keeping a very close eye on.
00:05:10It's a meeting that we're reporting on.
00:05:17Donald Trump to meet Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistan Prime Minister,
00:05:20at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
00:05:23It's a meeting that is taking place to discuss regional security is what we've been given to understand,
00:05:29to talk about humanitarian issues in Gaza, Pakistan's role in promoting peace in this region.
00:05:36Trump-Shahbaz Sharif meeting on the sidelines of the UNGA General Assembly
00:05:41is what we're learning at this point in time.
00:05:44Pranay is back with us.
00:05:45Pranay, a meeting that India certainly would be keeping a very close eye on.
00:05:50Talk to us about what could possibly be on top of the agenda for both these countries.
00:05:56Sehad, the meeting between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and President Donald Trump
00:06:02would be taking place on the sidelines of the UNGA General Assembly.
00:06:05Also, there is a meeting called the elected leaders of the Islamic world and President Donald Trump.
00:06:13This is in the backdrop of the recent situation, the developing situation of the Palestinian issue
00:06:19because many countries have recognized Palestine from the Western world,
00:06:24from the G7 countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and many other countries
00:06:29are also likely to recognize Palestine, which President Donald Trump has,
00:06:34during his recent visit to the United Kingdom, has advised and has said
00:06:39that he doesn't appreciate the fact that the recognition to the Palestinian state
00:06:45will help the situation.
00:06:46This will be like appreciation of the Hamas and its position there,
00:06:51what happened on 7th of October.
00:06:53So, this meeting of the elected leaders of the Islamic world will be and President Donald Trump
00:07:00will be taking his back up.
00:07:02And besides that, both President Trump and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif
00:07:06are also likely to hold a bilateral meeting.
00:07:10This will be their first engagement.
00:07:11You know that in June, Pakistani Army Chief, Wheel Marshal Atim Muneer,
00:07:18was the first leader from Pakistan to meet President Donald Trump.
00:07:23And their elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be meeting him later.
00:07:27So, this clearly shows the situation, this clearly itself is a statement
00:07:31that, you know, the United States gives importance to whom?
00:07:35Not the elected leader, but the appointed Army Chief.
00:07:39And also, we have been given to understand that Asim Muneer is also likely to join this meeting.
00:07:46However, there is no official confirmation as yet.
00:07:49But we have to see, and as you rightly pointed out,
00:07:52that India would be keenly watching the defined lines and the reports coming out of this meeting
00:07:59because Pakistan is trying to cozy up with the United States,
00:08:02trying to exhibit it more, trying to show that how close
00:08:06and what is the proximity between the United States and Pakistan.
00:08:11So, clearly, there is a deliberate attempt on part of Pakistan
00:08:16to show their proximity with the United States.
00:08:20But as far as the relationship is concerned,
00:08:23there are many issues in Pakistan-United States relationship
00:08:26because it's the same U.S. President Donald Trump,
00:08:29who, you know, a few years ago, during his first tenure,
00:08:34he said in as many words as a social media post,
00:08:38which still exists on social media platform,
00:08:41that Pakistan betrayed and how Pakistan cheated the United States
00:08:45by taking billions of dollars and doing nothing on account of terrorism.
00:08:49I'm going to leave it there for the moment.
00:08:51Pranayipa, they're getting in those details and putting that story into perspective.
00:08:55It's a meeting that's happening to discuss regional security,
00:08:59the situation in Gaza and Pakistan's role, interestingly,
00:09:02in promoting peace in this region is what America is looking at
00:09:07and hence that meeting.
00:09:19More news coming in and the story is developing from the state of Assam
00:09:25after Zubin got second post-mortem at the Gauhati Medical College.
00:09:30The mortal remains will be brought back to Saru Sajai Stadium
00:09:34and at around 9.30.10, the funeral procession will begin.
00:09:38The chief minister has said that Zubin's mortal remains will go in an ambulance.
00:09:42His family has provided a list of 85 people that includes members of the artist fraternity.
00:09:47The government will arrange four to five buses for the commute.
00:09:50The process will be similar to that of airport to his home
00:09:52wherein people can offer the last homage to the departed soul without any restrictions.
00:09:58I'm going to go straight across to Saruswath Kashyap.
00:10:01Joining us from Gauhati this morning on that story,
00:10:04Saruswath, all arrangements there being made for the final ride.
00:10:07So the much-loved singer and not just the pride of Assam
00:10:11but the pride really of the country, legendary singer Zubin Garg has died.
00:10:15Tragically, his final riots will take place with full arrangements in place.
00:10:20Talk to us about the details of what has been decided, you know,
00:10:24Saruswath, by the government today.
00:10:27Although a sad moment for the people of Assam,
00:10:30the chief minister of Assam, Himmata Bishan Sarma,
00:10:33in a press conference has said that the second autopsy
00:10:36which was asked by the people of Assam,
00:10:39requested to the chief minister for a second autopsy
00:10:43have been going on behind me here in the Gauhati Medical College in Gauhati.
00:10:49It was scheduled to be done by 7.30,
00:10:52but unexpectedly it was the mortal remains
00:10:55where it came from Saruswath to the GMC's Gauhati Medical College
00:10:58at around 3.30 a.m. in the morning.
00:11:01We are here live at the Gauhati Medical College.
00:11:04This mortal remains after the autopsy will be taken to Saruswath,
00:11:07where the last ride of Zubin Garg will be taken place.
00:11:12Some only particular guests, some VIPs,
00:11:15and only artists will be taken to the last cremation girl,
00:11:18which is there in Sonapu,
00:11:21which is 20 to 25 kilometers away from Gauhati.
00:11:25I am right here now in Gauhati Medical College,
00:11:28where the second autopsy is going on here in Gauhati.
00:11:30I am going to leave it at that for the moment.
00:11:34Getting in those details,
00:11:35is Saraswath Karshif telling us about the last ride arrangements
00:11:37that have been made for Zubin Garg.
00:11:41Sam unites to bid farewell to singer Zubin Garg.
00:11:44Last rides of him will be held today
00:11:46with state honours on the outskirts of Gauhati.
00:11:49CEO fans gathered earlier to pay their last respects
00:11:51to their beloved singer,
00:11:53and Zubin's body was brought to Gauhati from Singapore.
00:11:56Following widespread appeal,
00:11:57Sam Chief Minister Himanta Bispasarma
00:12:00announced that second post-mortem of the legendary singer
00:12:03will be conducted at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital today.
00:12:08Footprints of the late music icon have been preserved
00:12:10as a lasting tribute to his enduring legacy.
00:12:13Artist Deganda Bharati collected the imprint
00:12:15as Sam moans the death of its heartthrob.
00:12:18People close to the singer have begun work
00:12:20to digitally preserve his voice
00:12:22to prevent unauthorised use of tampering in the future.
00:12:2652-year-old Zubin died after a scuba diving accident in Singapore
00:12:29on the 19th of September.
00:12:31A lot of times,
00:12:38have a lot of people who were on the other side of the school
00:12:43and have been putting into a population
00:12:45like this.
00:12:46Look,
00:12:48the people have been praying,
00:12:49and the people have been praying
00:12:50to the people who were outskirts
00:12:52and for mothers of the elderly,
00:12:54or,
00:12:55they are being reminded,
00:12:57the people who are Ang catastrophized
00:12:58Shifting focus, getting you these details from Tamil Nadu,
00:13:06where the political fight is only heating up amid infighting within the AIDMK.
00:13:11The party is trying to court actor Vijay and TVK before next year's assembly elections.
00:13:17Former Tamil Nadu minister and AIDMK leader Rajendra Balaji has called on him to join hands
00:13:21with his party in the battle to defeat the DMK.
00:13:24He said that a united opposition is key to removing the DMK,
00:13:28held at government in the state.
00:13:30AIDMK has also claimed that if the actor-turned-neta contest without its support,
00:13:34it won't even get passmarked in the elections.
00:13:37The Tamil Nadu speaker, on the other hand, has said that Vijay speaks at rallies
00:13:40like he does in his arms and should use the word honourable
00:13:44when he addresses Prime Minister, Home Minister or the Chief Minister.
00:13:48Remember, TVK, which will make its political debut at next year's assembly elections
00:13:53in Tamil Nadu, has ruled out an alliance with the DMK, AIDMK
00:13:57or the BJP, Vijay has said BJP is his ideological enemy.
00:14:02DMK is its only political enemy here.
00:14:04Aidan K.
00:14:05The
00:14:12Aidan K.
00:14:14Aidan K.
00:14:14Aidan K.
00:14:15Aidan K.
00:14:16Aidan K.
00:14:17they said something.
00:14:19All the people who say something.
00:14:22They said something new.
00:14:25They five weeks ago, they used to make
00:14:29an article about cinema.
00:14:33I'm not talking like this,
00:14:36but I am talking about it.
00:14:40The first one came to me.
00:14:43I was given the first one in the book.
00:17:37Take a look at these pictures.
00:18:51as an independent state.
00:18:54And these protesters are asking the government
00:18:57to recognize Palestine as an independent state
00:19:00and also take action against Israel
00:19:04in terms of the Gaza action,
00:19:07whatever is happening in Gaza,
00:19:08and clashes break out as the Italian strike
00:19:11demanding the government to take action over Gaza.
00:19:14And this has caused a lot of disruptions across Italy.
00:19:18Thousands of the protesters are protesting
00:19:20against the Gaza wall
00:19:22and they are asking the government
00:19:24not to help Israel
00:19:25and not to supply weapons to Israel.
00:19:29And while on the other side,
00:19:30Prime Minister Giorgio M. Belloni
00:19:32said the recognition isn't on the table.
00:19:35All right, I'm going to leave that for the moment.
00:19:37Pranayopad, they're getting in those details
00:19:38and that's totally developing from Italy.
00:19:40More news coming in.
00:19:50U.S. talk show host Jimmy Kimmel back on air.
00:19:54He returns with his show after a week-long bang.
00:19:57Kimmel's show was taken off air after remarks
00:19:59on Kirk's murder statement by TV network says,
00:20:03Last Wednesday, we made the decision
00:20:06to suspend production on the show
00:20:07to avoid further inflaming a tense situation
00:20:10at an emotional moment for our country.
00:20:13It is a decision we made
00:20:14because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed
00:20:16and thus insensitive.
00:20:18We have spent the last days
00:20:20having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy
00:20:22and after those conversations,
00:20:24we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.
00:20:27Very heavy rainfall is what we are reporting on right now
00:20:44from Kolkata, paralyzing city life,
00:20:47normal life in this city.
00:20:50Parts of Kolkata are completely inundated
00:20:52as you can see in these pictures.
00:20:54Very heavy showers overnight have thrown life
00:20:56completely out of gear in Kolkata
00:21:00and its surrounding areas.
00:21:01On Tuesday, with several places inundated
00:21:04under knee-deep water,
00:21:07traffic completely paralyzed.
00:21:10Water entered many houses
00:21:11and residential complexes in the city
00:21:14as roads went further underwater
00:21:16owing to the overnight drain
00:21:17that started past midnight.
00:21:21The city is bracing for more downpour
00:21:23as Indian MEC departments
00:21:25except for a local area
00:21:27over the happiest day of Bengal
00:21:29is possibly going to be bringing in heavy rains
00:21:32in several South Bengal districts.
00:21:38Tapas Sengupta is getting in more details
00:21:41this morning from Kolkata
00:21:43at this point in time.
00:21:44A one night of rains.
00:21:45Tapas really throwing normal life out of gear.
00:21:48Talk to us about
00:21:50which are the areas that have been badly affected
00:21:53and actually how many areas have been badly affected.
00:21:56Well, entire Kolkata has been affected.
00:21:58There was an extreme deluge for six hours
00:22:01and last three hours
00:22:02what recorded after 2.30 a.m. in the morning
00:22:04was around 250 millimeters of rainfall
00:22:07which is absolutely unprecedented.
00:22:09There was forecast from the MEC department
00:22:11that there could be heavy rainfall
00:22:13but this kind of torrential rainfall
00:22:15was not anticipated.
00:22:16It was Kolkata,
00:22:17the suburban areas in Havra.
00:22:19I'm right now standing at the second Hukli bridge,
00:22:21the iconic second Hukli bridge.
00:22:23You can see
00:22:23the traffic is absolutely collapsed.
00:22:27The traffic system has absolutely collapsed
00:22:29and this is the only bridge
00:22:31that connects Kolkata and Havra.
00:22:33And we are just a few meters away,
00:22:36a few hundred meters away
00:22:37from the state secretary
00:22:38and that is also underwater at this moment
00:22:41given the present situation
00:22:42and since Durga Puja is only a few days to go.
00:22:47Given this kind of forecast
00:22:48and experience that the people of Kolkata had,
00:22:50it is immense contemplation by the police,
00:22:56even the Kolkata police
00:22:57as to how the traffic would be controlled,
00:23:00whether or not the diversions would be done.
00:23:02It's only barely around 8 a.m. in the morning right now.
00:23:05The office time has just begun
00:23:07but the kind of traffic congestion
00:23:10that we are witnessing,
00:23:11I have not seen any traffic congestion
00:23:14over second Hukli bridge
00:23:15in the last 30, 35 years
00:23:17but this is for the first time
00:23:19that we are witnessing
00:23:20that all the trucks
00:23:21and all the vehicular movement
00:23:22have been completely stalled.
00:23:25Anybody flying to Kolkata
00:23:26will not be able to fly to Kolkata
00:23:28at least in the next couple of hours
00:23:31that I have at least experienced.
00:23:32I have been stuck in this traffic
00:23:34for the last almost one and a half hour
00:23:36and could barely move around a kilometer
00:23:38over this bridge.
00:23:40So you can well imagine
00:23:41the kind of situation that exists in Kolkata.
00:23:43However, it's not raining right now.
00:23:45It's only a few drizzles that we can experience
00:23:48but there's a forecast that
00:23:49throughout the day today
00:23:50there is a possibility
00:23:52of heavy to moderate shower
00:23:53in different parts of Kolkata.
00:23:55The northern part of Kolkata
00:23:57remains to be worst affected.
00:23:59The Havra urban area
00:24:02remains to be worst affected.
00:24:04The drainage system
00:24:04has completely collapsed.
00:24:06What we gather from the sources
00:24:07within the government
00:24:08that since there is a possibility
00:24:10of high tide around 10.30 and 11.30
00:24:12in the morning today,
00:24:14later in the morning,
00:24:15hence there is a possibility
00:24:17that water from River Ganges
00:24:20could flow in to city.
00:24:22So keeping that in mind,
00:24:23all the log gates will be kept closed
00:24:25so that the water level
00:24:27doesn't rise in Kolkata.
00:24:29And hence,
00:24:30this is a precautionary measure
00:24:31that have been taken.
00:24:32The Kolkata Municipal Corporation,
00:24:34the Havra Municipal Corporation
00:24:35workers are on one footing

00:24:50But it seems,
00:24:51given the situation
00:24:52and the water logging situation
00:24:53that exists in different parts
00:24:55of Kolkata,
00:24:55it is going to take

00:24:58or several more hours
00:24:59to get things into normalcy

00:29:03and
00:29:04to be able to
00:29:04get it.
00:29:35Saraswath continues to be with us, the Chief Minister urging traders to keep their business establishments closed up until 2 in the afternoon.
00:29:43This, of course, is for the smooth, you know, funeral procession that is going to be seeing, you know, a large number of people really turn up, isn't it?
00:29:51And that clearly is the anticipation that there should not be any inconvenience on that front.
00:29:57Saraswath?
00:29:57Saraswath.
00:30:27Saraswath is the event which will carry the mortal remains of the late Srinivas Jubingar to Saraswath's theorem.
00:30:34And after that, it will be guided by heavy security.
00:30:37Only artists and also family members of late Jubingar will be taken to Sonapur,
00:30:43where a commission will be held in a particular event,
00:30:47where even Union Minister Kiran Riju is supposed to represent Prime Minister Nandar Modi here in this event.
00:30:55I'm going to leave it there for the moment.
00:30:57Saraswath Karashiv getting in those pictures, the people have started to gather as well.
00:31:03Sam uniting to bid farewell to Srinivas Jubingar.
00:31:06The last rites of singer Jubingar will be held today with state honours on the outskirts of Guwahati.
00:31:15See your fans gathered earlier to pay their last respects to their beloved singer when Jubingar's body was brought to Guwahati from Singapore.
00:31:21Following widespread appeal, Sam chief minister has announced the second post-mortem of legendary singer
00:31:28will be conducted at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
00:31:32Footprints of the late music icon have been preserved as a lasting tribute to his enduring legacy.
00:31:37Artist Digantha Bharti collected the imprint.
00:31:41Sam mourns that they're up, it's hard for them.
00:31:43People close to the singer have begun work to digitally preserve his voice
00:31:47to prevent unauthorized user tampering in the future.
00:31:5052-year-old Zubingar died after a scuba diving accident in Singapore on the 19th of September.
00:32:20In Assam, music is not just heard, it is lived.
00:32:29And no voice captured that spirit quite like Zubingarg.
00:32:33For over three decades, he was not just a singer, but an emotion.
00:32:52A son of Assam, who gave the state its cultural heartbeat.
00:33:00Born to a singer, mother and lyricist father, Zubingar grew up in a family where music was heritage.
00:33:10At just 20, he released his debut Assamese album, Anamika, and a star was born.
00:33:17And what followed was a journey that broke boundaries.
00:33:20In 2006, his Bollywood track, Yaali, in the film Gangster, became a nationwide anthem.
00:33:38But he never abandoned his roots.
00:33:40He wrote, composed, acted and directed, carrying the sound of Assam across the world, yet always returning home.
00:33:50That voice, however, fell silent on September 19th, 2025.
00:34:10In Singapore, for a performance, Zubingar suffered a tragic scuba diving accident and drowned.
00:34:16He was only 52.
00:34:29The news left Assam stunned.
00:34:32A collective gasp, followed by an ocean of grief.
00:34:37Since then, the state has been moaning as one.
00:34:40Outside his Guati home, thousands of fans gathered, singing through the night.
00:34:51Many broke down, as they fulfilled his last wish to sing his beloved, Maya Benira Tir Bukut, when he was gone.
00:34:59Voices cracked with tears, but they rose together.
00:35:20A chorus of memory and farewell.
00:35:23A chorus of memory and farewells.
00:35:53On September 23rd, Zubin Garg will be cremated with full state honours near Guwahati at Sonapur village.
00:36:21Assam's chief minister has announced that a memorial will be built at the cremation site
00:36:28and another in Jorhat, so that generations to come will remember the man who gave them
00:36:33their music.
00:36:36I myself is a big fan of Zubin and I personally I feel that he should be above controversy
00:36:46the way because the post-mortem report cannot be better than Singapore in Guwahati because
00:36:58they are technically much better place than Guwahati.
00:37:02So I personally did not want to encourage cutting of his body.
00:37:09But in truth, the memorial is already here in the countless songs he leaves behind.
00:37:14In the hearts of the people who loved him.
00:37:17In the identity, he helped shape.
00:37:22Zubin Garg was not just an artist, he was an era.
00:37:26As the flames rise in farewell, his music will not fade.
00:37:31Because Zubin Daa's voice has become immortal, carried in every Assamese home, every Indian
00:37:36stage, and every fan who sings his songs through their tears.
00:37:48Zubin Daa's voice has become immortal, and he has become immortal, and he has become immortal.
00:38:03More news coming in at this point in time, let's get you these details from Tamil Nadu
00:38:08Vichyapi Zayappa summit attack on Vijayan has escalated accusing the Kerala chief minister of
00:38:14Vichyapi Zayappa.
00:38:15A bias against Brahmins.
00:38:16Anna Malai says, Vijayan has some anger against Brahmins.
00:38:21They after BGP likened left parties with a mass.
00:38:24Anna Malai says, Pinnari Vijayan must come out of the Brahmin phobia.
00:38:29You know I think it is a
00:38:31It is the Kerala's voice for a humanplay.
00:38:31Those are the Kamali people who call him Brahmin.
00:38:32We are just being broken.
00:38:33While boom is created, the Kerala's voice is far opposite.
00:38:34In the Kerala's voice is the Kerala's voice, it is a Burjayan Meine.
00:38:35We are the Kerala's voice of Vijayan.
00:38:36This is the Shagisha.
00:38:37This is the Kerala's voice of applause.
00:38:38The Kerala's voice of Mountain.
00:38:39It even appears that they are the Kerala's voice of all our Kerala's voice.
00:38:40It has a very strong language on the BGP.
00:38:42The Kerala's voice of Japanese and other Kerala's voice who released a Merala's voice
00:38:44and wanted to the Kerala's voice.
00:39:16Communism is a poison pill.
00:39:23Communism is nothing but a sugar-coated poison pill.
00:39:27A poison pill is a poison pill.
00:39:31I am the communist.
00:39:34I am the communist.
00:39:37I am the communist.
00:39:40Once the war has come,
00:39:43the war is once.
00:39:46Our war is a combination of macabre.
00:39:48In BGP's big Hamas.
00:39:52Rajiv Chandrasekhar compared CPIM with Hamas.
00:39:58I've spoken about how it takes.
00:40:02And when the government works,
00:40:04it tells us that we are going to NAILP.
00:40:06Christian and Joodham are not going to be able to do a program with the CPM program.
00:40:24Shibi has more details on that story. I'm going to go straight across to her. Shibi,
00:40:29you know, talk to us about this big controversy which has erupted and of course we see BJP going
00:40:34after the Chief Minister of Kerala as well, talking about how this really is an attack on Hindus in a sense.
00:40:43Well, Sneha, BJP right from the beginning has been saying that the state government has no right to,
00:40:48you know, organize an event like the Global IAPA Summit,
00:40:51considering that it's a communist government. They've always been against religion.
00:40:55Their ideology has always been against religion. And they also highlighted the 2018 Shabrimala protest
00:41:01saying that there are still many cases against the devotees who protested back then.
00:41:06So, despite those cases still existing and despite the government not withdrawing those cases.
00:41:12And also they're not, you know, clarifying their stance on the women entry to Shabrimala.
00:41:17How can they organize this event? And everybody knows that, you know, it's a political strategy
00:41:22considering that there's elections coming up in the state in the coming years.
00:41:26So, it's in the background that these statements have been made.
00:41:29So, yesterday, you know, as opposition to the Global IAPA Summit organized by the state government,
00:41:35the Hindu groups organized an IAPA Summit in Patran Theta called IAPA Protection Summit.
00:41:42And it's there, you know, we can hear, you know, we can hear former BJP, Tamil Nadu,
00:41:47State President Kaye and Amalek coming down heavily on Chief Minister Pekarajan
00:41:50and also on the DNK Government and DNK Ministers.
00:41:53Because two Ministers from the DNK Government, Parnival Kiyagrajan and Sheikhar Babu,
00:41:58had attended the Global IAPA Summit organized by the left government.
00:42:01So, he says that Periyar has once said that communism is a sugar-coated poison pill.
00:42:06So, and for both these ministers from Tamil Nadu, it's Periyar, who is their leader.
00:42:12And now we're seeing something like, you know, the followers of Periyar attending
00:42:17and even organized by a communist government.
00:42:19So, these are double standards and this should be exposed.
00:42:21And Brighi Vijay has always had this hatred for the Brahman Committee.
00:42:24So, if he, you know, if he comes out of his Brahman phobia,
00:42:27a lot of his problems will go away and will be sorted, is what he says.
00:42:31So, BJP heavily criticizing the left government for organizing and even like it.
00:42:35You're saying that, you know, when you're an atheist, when your ideology supports atheism,
00:42:40what is the whole point of organizing and even for devotees?
00:42:43How will you understand the feeling of devotees?
00:42:45That's what the BJP is asking.
00:42:46All right, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
00:42:48Getting into those details and putting that newest controversy into perspective
00:42:52is my colleague Shiki Mohan.
00:42:54Well, the political fight in Tamil Nadu is heating up amid infighting within the AIDMK.
00:43:01The party is trying to court actor Vijay and TVK before next year's assembly elections.
00:43:06Former Tamil Nadu minister and AIDMK leader Rajendra Balaji has called on him to join hands
00:43:11with his party in the battle to defeat the DMK.
00:43:14He said that a united opposition is key to removing the DMK-led government in this state.
00:43:18AIDMK has also claimed that if the actor-turned-meta contest without its support,
00:43:23it won't even get the pass mark in the elections.
00:43:26Tamil Nadu speaker on the other hand has said Vijay speaks at rallies like he does in his films
00:43:31and should yet please use the word honourable when he addresses the Prime Minister,
00:43:36Home Minister or the Chief Minister.
00:43:39Remember TVK which will make its political debut at next year's assembly elections in Tamil Nadu
00:43:44has ruled out an alliance with the DMK, AIDMK or the BJP.
00:43:48Vijay has said while BJP is his ideological enemy,
00:43:51DMK is its only political enemy.
00:43:54The
00:44:23What does Tamil Nadu have to do with us?
00:44:53àȘ…àȘčુàȘČે àȘžà«€àȘ‚àȘ€à« àȘžàȘŸàȘĄàȘ°àȘżàȘ‚

00:45:23This is the end of the day.
00:45:53Yes.
00:45:54No.
00:45:55No.
00:45:56No.
00:45:57No.
00:45:58No.
00:45:59No.
00:46:01No.
00:46:03I'm interested in the video, please.
00:46:09How we're getting into the gas station and the numbers are available for our customers?
00:46:14The customers are available full-time.
00:46:18We are available in the same room for them.
00:46:21They are available in the same area.
00:46:24We are able to get to the same people.
00:46:27Even though we're able to get to the same room for our customers, we are able to get to the same room.
00:46:31The course of the process of winning the election is only decided,
00:46:34I am not a video, I am not a camera, I am not a video, I am not a video.
00:46:397 days, 34 or 34...
00:46:43Even if we are not only for the people of God,
00:46:47we are not only talking about the people, but we don't want to talk about the time.
00:46:53Despite the times I don't know...
00:46:56...you have to do politics, I don't know to talk about votersMP.
00:46:59There
00:46:59More news coming in this morning, Karnataka government's bizarre pothole defense
00:47:10DK as the deputy chief minister, DK Shiv Kumar
00:47:13Tells jittery IT giants, potholes are everywhere, even wrote to prime minister's house as potholes
00:47:20Amid rising pothole dead, Sidramaya Sarkar's divers and bid is what it appears
00:47:26Sherry
00:47:33Sherry
00:47:39Sherry
00:47:42Sherry
00:47:54Sherry
00:47:56They were single or twice.
00:48:00They were just killed by all the women.
00:48:06They killed the prostitutes.
00:48:11They killed the prostitutes.
00:48:15They killed the prostitutes.
00:48:18They killed the prostitutes.
00:48:22Now, we are going to go straight across to Nagarjun Dwarakannath for more details in that story.
00:48:34This morning, this comes after Blackbuck CEO's exit move, really.
00:48:38The government is saying, I mean, that these are problems that will be there in every city.
00:48:43That is DK Shiv Kumar essentially trying to dissuade the company also from packing their bag and baggage and leaving, isn't it?
00:48:50In fact, that's true. DK Shiv Kumar gave a defense that he was in Delhi just 24 hours behind.
00:48:56And he's told the media that the potholes in front of the prime minister's residence.
00:49:00And this potholes manage is not just not in Karnataka, but across India.
00:49:04But media is highlighting only Karnataka.
00:49:06He tells the IT companies that this is a systemic failure and we are doing our duty and we are closing every day thousands of potholes in Bangalore.
00:49:13But this problem manage is not just pertaining to Bangalore City.
00:49:18It's across India and it's a systematic failure.
00:49:21And now BJP is targeting Congress.
00:49:23If they had done good jobs, the roads would not have been this way.
00:49:26He's what DK Shiv Kumar attacking one, the BJP, for not having good roads two years back.
00:49:32And then also telling the IT companies that the situation is similar across the country.
00:49:37I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
00:49:38Nagarjun Dwarakannath getting in those details.
00:49:40A month deadline is what first the government gave.
00:49:44And now it is saying that there are potholes pretty much everywhere.
00:49:48So no reason really for companies like Blackbuck to leave Bangalore is what DK Shiv Kumar has now said.
00:50:02And more news coming in this morning.
00:50:04Donald Trump is linked to parastamol use in pregnancy to autism.
00:50:09Parastamol during pregnancy leads to autism in kids is what has been indicated by Donald Trump.
00:50:15The administration is expected to now announce a link between the use of the popular medicine by pregnant women and the risk of autism,
00:50:23according to reports in the Washington Post.
00:50:26The report also, in fact, has said that medical guidelines show that this parastamol is safe for use in pregnancy.
00:50:33It is an over-the-counter use in medicine and pain medication whose active ingredient is known as acetaminophen.
00:50:43It's known as Tylenol.
00:50:46Trump administration has linked this use, the use of this particular parastamol in pregnancy to autism in children.
00:50:53First, effective immediately, the FDA will be notifying physicians at the use of acetaminophen.
00:51:05Acetaminophen, acetaminophen, is that okay, which is basically commonly known as Tylenol during pregnancy can be associated with a very increased risk of autism.
00:51:25So taking Tylenol is not good, all right?
00:51:33I'll say it.
00:51:33It's not good.
00:51:35So I think you shouldn't take it, and you shouldn't take it during the entire pregnancy.
00:51:39They may tell you that toward the end of the pregnancy, you shouldn't take it during the entire,
00:51:42and you shouldn't give the child a Tylenol every time he goes.
00:51:45He's born and he goes and has a shot.
00:51:48But you shouldn't give a Tylenol to that child.
00:51:52I'm going straight across to Sonal, getting in more details on that story this morning.
00:51:56Sonal, this is Trump really going beyond what the US FDA has also said, saying that its use should be minimized.
00:52:04But no link really to autism.
00:52:06It's a big statement that has been made.
00:52:08Talk to us about the evidence that is backing this statement, if at all.
00:52:13Not really.
00:52:14But every time a statement comes from the Trump office, you've got to take it with a pinch of salt.
00:52:20And clearly, this is making headlines here in India as well.
00:52:24But let's try and understand the context of this, Sneha, a little bit.
00:52:27You just heard him over there at the Roosevelt Room in Washington, D.C., addressing a press conference,
00:52:32along with the Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over there,
00:52:37and along with other FDA commissioners as well.
00:52:39So he is pretty determined on two things that he's saying.
00:52:42Number one, they have said that autism is now increasingly becoming an issue in the US.
00:52:48So two-pronged approach that he's talking about.
00:52:50One, linking Tylenol to rising cases of autism.
00:52:55And the second part of the statement, perhaps that we haven't laid out so far,
00:52:59is about talking of a drug which can solve for that problem as well.
00:53:04That drug is called Leucovirin.
00:53:06So he's saying that, A, autism is a problem.
00:53:11It is clearly linked to this chemical cause.
00:53:12Yes, so be with us.
00:53:13I'll just come back to you for more details on that story.
00:53:16Senior Dr. Rohan Krishnan is also joining us this morning.
00:53:19Thank you for your time.
00:53:20I want to begin by asking you, how do you look at this statement?
00:53:23I mean, it's not the first time that a statement of this kind has been made by Donald Trump.
00:53:27In the past, also, several links have been drawn, you know,
00:53:30without any backing from a scientific body like the US FDA, for example.
00:53:35Right here also, he seems to be saying something else very different from the FDA said
00:53:40about the use of this medicine in pregnant women.
00:53:44I think that it is laughable and hilarious that someone like,
00:53:49someone who is holding the post like the President of the United States of America
00:53:52is doing such things which are pretty and small.
00:53:55Paracetamol has been used in pregnancy for decades long
00:54:00and it has been seen as the safest drug.
00:54:04And till now, they were also using it and we are also using it
00:54:07in almost all the hospitals and all the antenatal care.
00:54:10And they have never seemed to bother us.
00:54:13They have never seemed to give any kind of toxicity.
00:54:16Unnecessary panic, that too, in medical field,
00:54:19it is something which is a blow below the belt
00:54:22and I think it is highly disappointing that something like this is coming up.
00:54:28You know, this also, in fact,
00:54:30is going to create some sort of a panic situation, I understand,
00:54:33with this medicine available over the counter.
00:54:36You know, years of research have been put into the causes of autism
00:54:40and this obviously is going to lead to a great deal of confusion,
00:54:44in my understanding, in the medical community in that sense, isn't it?
00:54:47Yeah, I think so, because it is something that requires a lot of research
00:54:55and a lot of continuous clinical trials and everything.
00:54:59So if you create some kinds of things and rumors like this,
00:55:04it becomes difficult.
00:55:06It is sad that the medical community is not backing us,
00:55:12is not backing the paracetamol drug from the U.S.
00:55:16I think that from my experience myself that I have been giving this drug for quite long,
00:55:22even in pregnancy we give it, it's a safe drug.
00:55:25I think that before coming to any kind of conclusions,
00:55:29we should always, always have proper clinical trials
00:55:32and years of backing of data before saying something like this.
00:55:36And there is a very serious allegation and a very serious ill effect
00:55:40that they are talking about, especially in cases of pregnancy,
00:55:43which requires extra attention when there is pregnancy to the patient.
00:55:49You know, I also want to understand from you,
00:55:51the Food and Drug Administration has given some modest advice to doctors,
00:55:55which usually is given to pregnant women.
00:55:57And this does not just concern this paracetamol,
00:55:59but all of the medications that they use during pregnancy should always be kept at minimal.
00:56:05Any kind of medicine to in fact ease out any problem in pregnant women
00:56:09should be used very, very judicially.
00:56:11And the FDA's advice is in perfect sync with that.
00:56:14But to link it to autism is taking this to another level altogether, isn't it?
00:56:18Yeah, actually, see, pregnancy is a special condition.
00:56:24It requires extra attention because you are not only just involving the mother's body,
00:56:30but there is also an embryo, a pre-developing child that is inside her womb.
00:56:36So it requires a lot more attention.
00:56:39And many things, when someone is pregnant,
00:56:42their liver, kidneys and entire body is focusing upon the nutrition of the baby.
00:56:47So there is less barrier, whatever you are taking,
00:56:51that is going to affect the baby some way or the other.
00:56:55So it is always advisable to avoid medications.
00:56:58Even in various cases, we try to give local antiseptics
00:57:04and local applicants, cream applicants to the mother in cases of pain and et cetera.
00:57:10So we do try to do that.
00:57:11But obviously, at the end of the day, for any medication,
00:57:15we have to weigh between the profit and the loss risk.
00:57:18If the profit of giving the medication is much more than the adverse effects of the loss,
00:57:23that has to be given.
00:57:24And I think that this is completely depending upon the judgment of the clinician.
00:57:31And over-the-counter sale of any kind of drug should be avoided.
00:57:35That is an entirely different issue.
00:57:36Another issue is that what drug should be avoided in pregnancy
00:57:40and what drug should be absolutely contraindicated in pregnancy.
00:57:45That is another issue.
00:57:47These things must be done.
00:57:48This is not something that is a new science
00:57:51or this is something that we are not familiar about.
00:57:54In fact, we also pressurize upon these things that once you are pregnant
00:57:59or otherwise also that the abuse of antibiotics could become a global risk
00:58:03in the coming 20 years because it is available in India over the counters
00:58:07and people are buying it.
00:58:08These things are different.
00:58:10But relating it with autism, relating it with something we don't have much proof,
00:58:17just to put some disgrace upon the country, put some disgrace upon other things.
00:58:23So this is something that is completely unacceptable,
00:58:26unscientific, unreliable at this moment of time.
00:58:30Unscientific and unreliable and just with an attempt perhaps to create some sort
00:58:35of a panic linking this parastamol to autism in babies
00:58:39when years and years of research, viewers, has been put into what possibly
00:58:44could be causing autism in children.
00:58:46And these are questions that are yet to be answered conclusively to tell our viewers.
00:58:51Donald Trump linking it directly to a parastamol, yes, will create just so much panic.
00:58:57I'm going to leave it, Dr. Krishnan.
00:58:58At that, listen in to what Donald Trump said.
00:59:03First, effective immediately, the FDA will be notifying physicians
00:59:07that the use of, well, let's see how we say that, acetaminophen, acetaminophen.
00:59:18Is that okay?
00:59:20Which is basically commonly known as Tylenol during pregnancy
00:59:26can be associated with a very increased risk of autism.
00:59:34So taking Tylenol is not good.
00:59:40All right, I'll say it.
00:59:41It's not good.
00:59:42So I think you shouldn't take it.
00:59:44And you shouldn't take it during the entire pregnancy.
00:59:46They may tell you that toward the end of the pregnancy,
00:59:48you shouldn't take it during the entire.
00:59:50And you shouldn't give the child a Tylenol every time he goes.
00:59:53He's born and he goes and has a shot.
00:59:56You shouldn't give a Tylenol to that child.
01:00:00Let's move on.
01:00:01Big developments in the U.S. ties.
01:00:03From a thaw in Modi, Trump ties to Jai Shankar Rubio diplomacy,
01:00:06to the H-1B visa controversy and trade talks.
01:00:09The India-U.S. story is only but evolving.
01:00:13And make no mistake, it affects you and me more than what you think.
01:00:17External Affairs Minister Jai Shankar has met U.S. Senator.
01:00:20Marco Rubio in New York.
01:00:21A first such meeting since the tariff war clouds darkened our trade ties
01:00:24and the H-1B visa now exploded.
01:00:27Both sides spoke about bilateral and global issues,
01:00:30agreed on sustained engagement,
01:00:31and said they will stay in close touch.
01:00:34In short, the channel of conversation stays very, very open.
01:00:38U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio has reaffirmed
01:00:42that India remains a critically important partner for the United States,
01:00:46expressing appreciation for the Indian government's ongoing engagement on key issues.
01:00:50Meanwhile, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal,
01:00:53United States Trade Representative,
01:00:55met in New York on Monday
01:00:57in an effort to accelerate trade talks between the two countries.
01:01:01Trade tensions and visa issues escalated
01:01:03as the U.S. announced H-1B visa fee,
01:01:07though the White House has suggested doctors and medical residents could be exempt.
01:01:12Many unanswered questions remain.
01:01:14What about students moving from F-1 to H-1B?
01:01:18What about those waiting on the 2026 lottery?
01:01:21What about techies switching jobs at Google, Amazon or Infosys?
01:01:25The confusion really isn't over.
01:01:28Far from it.
01:01:29The confusion continues over the visas and, of course,
01:01:33the thawing of ties is what we are seeing at this point in time,
01:01:37even as the last few weeks and months have been fairly turbulent
01:01:40vis-a-vis the relationship between both the countries.
01:01:44Uttar Pradesh's encounter, Rani's caught on camera.
01:01:54Women cop led encounter at Delhi doorstep.
01:01:57Women cops in gunfight with criminals.
01:01:59Women cop gets shot.
01:02:01Battles on on camera.
01:02:02As you can see in these pictures,
01:02:04coming in on camera.
01:02:06Criminal regret, crime.
01:02:08These are pictures coming in from U.P.
01:02:10While yelling at choshi Ichi?
01:02:19I'm going to try to

01:02:20But what does that mean?
01:02:22Police can shoot folk deflecting.
01:02:25No.
01:02:26He has not soビ Elections.
01:02:27I should

01:02:30Well is there this sc climb?
01:02:32And what is that reason?
01:02:33I'm going to try to..
01:02:35Will play a bush deflectinguitar?
01:02:37I cannot see

01:02:38I should

01:02:39Going straight across to Arvind Hoja for more details.
01:02:48Arvind, this video has told us about the story,
01:02:50it seems that the criminal is saying sorry.
01:02:54How do you tell the police about this officer?
01:02:58First of all, in Gajibabad, there is a first encounter
01:03:03that the woman police personnel had done.
01:03:06which all the police were in the team.
01:03:09This is a snatcher which was in Gaudiabad.
01:03:14The goal chain was snatched.
01:03:18There were many cases.
01:03:19His name is Jitendra.
01:03:21When the police department got input,
01:03:25the woman police personnel made a team.
01:03:29Then, Jitendra's back in the encounter,
01:03:32foreign
01:04:02who has given a big encounter and who is accused of arrest him.
