00:00I'm Deb Hardiman and I'm here with the former staff from Wolverhampton, Marks & Spencer.
00:11They're here for a reunion just ahead of the store sadly closing this weekend.
00:18And here I've got Sue and Sue.

00:26Right ladies, now tell me, how are you feeling?
00:31You've got all your former colleagues and friends here today.
00:34How are you all feeling knowing that you've spent so many years working at a local branch and it's going to be closing?
00:41Heartbroken.
00:42Heartbroken, yeah.
00:44Heartbroken is closing and heartbroken is the stuff that people are losing their jobs.
00:49And how many years of, I guess all of you have packed up quite a lot of hundreds of hours a year.
00:55Yeah, I did just under 20 years or so.
00:59Yeah.
01:00I only came from Christmas staff but they kept me in.
01:02And you did 27 years?
01:05No, just under 20.
01:06Just under 20, yeah.
01:08Right.

01:14Done in 1966.
01:15And you okay?
01:16Yes.

01:18So what's some of your best memories of working here?
01:21I think the people are quite special, which is to show by all of them gathered.
01:25Yeah.
01:26It's the end of an era really.
01:27Yeah.

01:44And what are some of your hopes, do you think, for the company, for the staff?
01:50I know that you've made that, but what are some of your hopes?
01:52Well, we hope the company thrives really.
01:55Especially for the staff and the pensioners.
01:58And that they move on to better things.

02:40It's very, very sad today.
02:41I feel really sad.
02:42And it's lovely to see all my friends.

02:44I just don't know what's going to happen to the tower.
