Track 4 of the Rainbow Factory Concept Album

šŸŽµ Track 4 – ā€œGates of the Machineā€

Genre: Dark Symphonic Metal / Industrial Orchestral Fusion

Story Summary

Scootaloo and the other foals are led deeper until they finally see it: the colossal Rainbow Factory itself. A labyrinth of pipes, gears, and towering machines fills the chamber, stretching endlessly. The gates open with a deafening roar, revealing the terrible heart of Cloudsdale’s secret. This track embodies the revelation moment — the grandeur and scale of the Factory are breathtaking, but every detail drips with menace. It’s no longer whispers and shadows: the nightmare is real, and the foals stand before the machine that will consume them.

Lyrics

The doors swing wide with a thunderous cry,
Steel towers scraping a poisoned sky.
Engines scream, the floorboards shake,
A world of fire no dream could make.

Pipes like veins through the walls entwined,
The heart of darkness, cold, designed.
Rainbows swirl in fractured streams,
Born from silence, blood, and screams.

(Chorus)
Gates of the machine, open wide,
No escape and nowhere to hide.
Colors flow from broken souls,
The price of flight, the factory tolls.

The gears grind on with endless power,
An iron tomb, the final hour.
Echoes of wings that never soar,
Lost forever, heard no more.

(Chorus)
Gates of the machine, open wide,
No escape and nowhere to hide.
Colors flow from broken souls,
The price of flight, the factory tolls.

(Bridge – orchestral build)
Voices rise, a haunting choir,
Fueling the flames, feeding the fire.
Each broken dream, a cog in place,
A thousand lives erased, disgraced.

(Outro – crushing and slow)
The gates still stand, the wheels still turn,
A lesson cruel we’ll never learn.
Gates of the machine, standing tall,
Welcome, failures… welcome all.
