There have been complaints at the sheer number of temporary traffic lights across Merseyside.

00:11Councillors have complained of people waiting at endless temporary traffic lights
00:15across a Merseyside area with no sign of anybody doing any action.
00:22Alongside this, utilities companies have been carrying out planned and emergency repairs,
00:27while Cadent is upgrading the gas network.
00:32However, statistics show that 14,715 days had been saved as a result of works finishing early,
00:40with penalties and fines issued by the Council to companies whose work overruns,
00:45causing delays fire those in the roads.
