Rising singer D4vd has paused his world tour after police discovered the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas in the front trunk of his Tesla, which had been impounded earlier this month. LAPD confirmed the Tesla is registered to the 20-year-old artist, and investigators executed a search warrant at the Hollywood Hills home where he had been staying.   Rivas, missing since April, was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner and her cause is still undetermined. The case has gone viral online, with fans resurfacing alleged photos and a leaked track title “Celeste_Demo unfin.” TMZ reports Celeste’s mother claimed her daughter once dated someone named David, and brands like Hollister and Crocs have suspended ad campaigns with the singer.   While D4vd initially continued performing, he canceled shows following Rivas’s identification, and police say they are pursuing all leads while awaiting autopsy results.

00:2515-year-old girl. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has since identified the victim as

00:31Celeste Rivas of Lake Elsnore, who had been missing since April of 2024. According to ABC News, Rivas

00:37was found wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow bracelet, and stud earrings, and she had

00:43a small tattoo on her index finger, a detail that TMZ reports matches a finger tattoo on the singer

00:48himself. Now reports state that the LAPD executed a search warrant early Thursday at a Hollywood Hills

00:54home where the 20-year-old singer had been staying. And the New York Post reports David was in

00:59Minneapolis preparing for a concert when the body was found and initially continued performing while

01:04cooperating with investigators. But after Celeste was publicly identified, he canceled his Seattle

01:09show and has now paused the rest of his world tour. Online, the story is going viral as TMZ reports

01:16Celeste's mother has shared information that may connect David to the victim, including the mother

01:21telling TMZ Celeste had a boyfriend named David. Fans have since shared alleged old photos and videos

01:26of David with a girl resembling Celeste online. And according to TMZ, there's a nearly four-minute

01:32song that was leaked in December of 2023 under the file named Celeste Demo Unfinished. On the track,

01:38David reportedly sings, Oh Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest. Smell her on my clothes

01:44like cigarettes. I hear her voice each time I take a breath. I'm obsessed. But at this time,

01:49police have not confirmed any relationship between David and Rivas and representatives from the singer's

01:54team have not commented publicly. Meanwhile, brands like Hollister and Crofts have reportedly

01:59suspended ad campaigns featuring the singer. For now, reports state no arrests have been made,

02:04but LAPD state they're following every lead while waiting for the medical examiner's results.
