00:00If America wasn't there in the world, what would the world look like today?
00:04If you were not the global superpower and it was another nation instead,
00:08would we sleep more easily in our beds tonight or not?
00:11And I think we all know the answer to that.
00:13We rely on the security that the United States provides,
00:17but even being the greatest country in the world, you can't do that on your own.
00:21Allies are so important.
00:23Allies are so important in the world which we face today.
00:25Where other countries that don't share the values of the United Kingdom and the United States
00:30want to challenge us and want to impose a different world order.
00:34And so this trade deal, I think, signifies something much more than just trade and investment.
00:39It signifies who we are as countries and the values that we share.
00:44And so this isn't just about doing great deals for each other because we like each other
00:50or because our economies have got great things to offer.
00:53This is a great deal for both of our countries and for the world
00:56because it shows two countries more closely aligned, that won't be torn apart,
01:02that cannot be divided.
01:05And I think that is incredibly important with all the challenges that we face.
01:08Thank you very much.
