00:03Yeah, I'm really proud of Sone and Katie's performances today.

00:07I thought they both did a very professional job.

00:10They were both fired up and they did us all proud.

00:14Yeah, and we've seen a lot of close matches here,

00:17but this one was kind of one-sided.

00:20Why do you think that was?

00:21I think our players were well prepared.

00:24Like I said before the start of this competition,

00:27as a team, we're really fired up.

00:29I feel like we're really united in terms of our goal

00:34and what we want to achieve in this competition.

00:36And it's something we take a huge amount of pride in.

00:39It's really important to us.

00:41So, you know, with all those kind of feels and emotions,

00:46I thought the players went out there

00:48and were really efficient in their performance today.

00:52And tell me about what this does for confidence

00:54in a competition like this.

00:55You must be like probably now one of the most confident teams

01:00going forward into the semifinals.

01:02I think, you know, for the players who performed this evening,

01:06I think the wins give them a huge amount of confidence.

01:11You know, because the reality in the last couple of months,

01:13it's been tough for both Soné and Katie out there on the tour.

01:17But in this competition, you're dealing with other nerves and expectations.

01:22And, you know, I thought they overall, they handled it well today.

01:25And I guess the reality was also, you know,

01:30my players were higher ranked than the opposition today.

01:33So it's a different kind of feeling and pressure that comes with it.

01:37But they did what they needed to do and they did it well.

01:41Having said that, though, looking ahead to our next opponents,

01:45USA, well, I think their record in this competition over the years

01:49speaks for itself.

01:51Maybe not so much recently, but they've got a team that is very strong in depth.

01:58And, you know, they did a great job as well to get past Kazakhstan

02:03in that deciding doubles.

02:05So it's not going to be easy for us.

02:09But look, we'll do our research, go back to the drawing board,

02:13make sure we prepare as best as possible

02:15and go out there and fight and give it our best.
