Rainfall could cause minor travel delays in Los Angeles in the afternoon of Sept. 18. Additionally, airports in Las Vegas, Kansas City and Minneapolis could experience delays due to thunderstorms.

00:00Travel-wise, it's Southern California that's a slowdown.

00:03I'm waiting to see some delays out of LAX. Nothing so far, but it's early in the day there.

00:08The rest of the big board is pretty quiet here. Another area to watch would be Kansas City.

00:12We already have some thunderstorms around there, so I think there could be delays there all day.

00:16Watch Minneapolis this afternoon. We're fine in Chicago and Detroit.

00:20And hey, I got to go to LA. I think there's going to be some delays there.

00:24Also, I can see some delays in Las Vegas and Phoenix today.
