Major Anti-Trump Demonstration Unfolds in London as Protesters Rally Against President’s U.K. State Visit

U.S. President Donald Trump received a royal reception at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, but beyond the castle walls many others did not welcome his unprecedented second state visit.   Thousands of people marched through central London to protest against his trip, which includes a lavish banquet in his honor hosted by King Charles III and a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

00:14who is racist, who is dangerous, who is misogynist

00:47and the biggest threat to life on Earth now is climate change.

00:51And we've got two major wars going on

00:54which we've got Palestine, Gaza, Israel, Ukraine and Russia.

01:00Donald Trump said on day one he was going to stop these wars.

01:04Well all we've heard so far is words.

01:06You know, where is the action?

01:08I've come down here because I came to the 2016 protest with Trump.

01:12I can't believe that he's come back here to the UK.

01:16I'm absolutely disgusted about it.

01:18What he's done over in America.

01:20It's showing clear signs of fascism going on at the moment

01:24with all the oligarchs and all the things.

01:26So I want to come down and protest that to say

01:29that he's not welcomed in this country.

01:31You know, American people out there are in the same frustration

01:34that we all are here today.

01:36Alright?

01:37And I just want to make sure that it's stressed over to the American people.

01:40I'm here for them because they know they can't do nothing

01:43with their presidents under their laws.

01:45But we're going to be showing that we're not going to accept it worldwide.

01:49So many, so many lies, so many people dead just in the last,

01:59since the second term began because of the cutting of Aiden.

02:03I don't know where to start.

02:05You know, he's obviously, obviously looking to become the US dictator.

02:19I'm standing up for being against hate.

02:24I think we need a message of solidarity and everyone coming together.

02:29It bothers me so much that Trump's calling himself a peacekeeper

02:33and actually he's the very opposite.

02:35So I want to be here with all these people who are coming together

02:38to say, we don't want you in our country

02:40because we're for peace and you're for war.
