00:00Hi guys, it's Ricky the Hitman here. I'd just like to say how sad and gutted I was to hear of the passing of my old mate Frank Hopkins.
00:14What a guy. Over the years, you know, friends together with Tony Hokey. Tony Hokey and Frank used to come down to my local pub after all my fights, come and support me with my family and my friends.
00:31And it really was really, really gutting to find out, to hear of the passing. And I have to be honest with you, they don't make characters like Frank, too many.
00:43He was a fantastic coachman, but more importantly, he was a proper boxing person. And they don't make people, you know, like Frank, you know, anymore.
00:52With boxing nowadays, that there's so much crap fights and so much crap things going on with the sport. To lose, for the sport to lose someone like Frank, that was a genuine boxing man and a funny guy.
01:08I thought I was funny, but Frank was hilarious. But yeah, it's always a sad day when we lose, you know, someone from our, you know, someone from our boxing family.
01:23And Frank was part of British boxing family. He was an absolute gentleman. He was an absolute legend. And he had so many good times with himself, Tony, Tony Hokey, my mum, my dad, my family, my mates, Duck.
01:40I always used to come to my local pub after we fight for the day. Yeah, just absolutely gutted. But Frank, you will be very, very sadly missed. And I hope everybody there today has the best send off and gives Frank the best send off they can.
01:59And have a drink, have a drink for Frank from the Hitman. All the best, everyone. God bless you, Frank. Rest in peace, son.
