00:00The sheer size of this club is quite staggering. Over 100,000 season ticket holders, an annual turnover of £40 million pounds, and now they're just 90 minutes away from another massive payday.
00:13In his six years in charge here, Johan Cruyff has managed to upset his players, supporters, the club president and the Spanish media, but no one can question his achievements. A club record, three successive league titles and the European Cup itself two years ago.
00:30Well, this is the team he's picked to reach the final again, an adventurous line-up, only three recognised defenders and the explosive talents of Stoichkov and Romario in attack.
00:41Porto, champions of Europe themselves seven years ago, have been transformed this season by the arrival of Bobby Robson. He's changed them from a dull defensive side into masters of the counter-attack.
00:52They've got players with pace, intelligence and strength, and they're more than capable of producing an upset here tonight.
00:59The Bulgarian striker Kostatinov is one player at Barcelona and must watch carefully.
01:04Injuries, though, have deprived Porto of two key players, and this is basically a young sign.
01:11The referee, Badr, looking ball inside the two defenders. KOTU read the danger well.
01:16Nidal there again, and picked up by Drulovic, Rui Felipe, and that's a useful ball from him as well to give Barcelona their first problem.
01:27A rather theatrical dive which didn't convince the referee.
01:31But Ferrer's challenge on the foyer has indeed given Porto a corner.
01:36And Sergi making a counter-attacking run down on his left flank, he gets the cross, and now it's a Stoichkov!
01:49It's the first goal to Barcelona, and it had to be Stoichkov, didn't it, just?
01:55Ten minutes gone, a brilliant move, and the brilliant Bulgarian inevitably on the end of it, his 19th goal of the season,
02:09and 95,000 people greet that goal with sheer joy and delight.
02:16Brilliant ball played in here, but look at the beautifully timed run from Stoichkov, and a superb finish.
02:22It's his sixth goal in the European Cup this season.
02:28He got the winner, you'll remember, in the match against Monaco, which gave Barcelona the lead in their group,
02:37and therefore a home advantage tonight, and that's yet another vital strike.
02:42Lovely little reverse ball there from Romario to set it up, and the cross was perfectly met.
02:47Well played, the goalkeeper.
02:53Baillier certainly came to Porto's rescue then.
02:57Aguirre-Stein looked odds-on to be able to lift the ball over the keeper.
03:01Well, Romario.
03:03Kotu across with the tackle, and an excellent challenge it was.
03:06Well, I thought so, and the referee's actually given a free kick against him.
03:11I cannot understand why.
03:12It seemed to me, as Kotu is surely protesting now that he won the ball fairly and squarely.
03:18What was wrong with that?
03:19Certainly in England, that would never have produced a free kick.
03:26An indirect one.
03:27Mercado makes an excellent run.
03:34And the body, Kyle.
03:36Great position in the middle again.
03:39And it's number two!
03:46Ten minutes to half-time.
03:48And the darling of the Nou Camp has scored again, and that might well be the goal that gives Barcelona a place in the European Cup final.
04:01Superb move again.
04:04Romario with a beautifully weighted ball forward here to the overlapping full-back, Sergi, who took his time and saw the inevitable Stoichkov timing his run to perfection once more.
04:17And Porto didn't learn their lesson.
04:20They didn't pick him up again, and he might have finished them off.
04:24He knew where the ball should be played, and he got it where he wanted.
04:28He smashed it into the back of the net, but who knows with him.
04:31I think this one will be aimed at one of his teammates.
04:34Or was it?
04:37That was close.
04:38With everyone expecting just that, and Stoichkov sliding in.
04:42Koeman, unbelievably, from that difficult angle and distance.
04:47He's tried the shot.
04:49Romario in the middle, and Amor arriving in behind him.
04:52Spreads it out again to Sergi.
04:57I don't think that was intended for Romario, but it was straight at Alessio.
05:02Giving Porto a rare opportunity to counter-attack, but they haven't really made the most of it.
05:08A little bit labored this build-up.
05:10They were so quick on the counter-attack when they beat the German champions, Werder Bremen.
05:17And that's a foul by Jao Pinto that's going to have him in trouble.
05:20Yellow card.
05:22Finish them off.
05:23And that's a bad challenge by Jao Pinto.
05:25He's got to go for that.
05:27The referee's taken out a yellow card, and it will be followed by a red.
05:31And it is.
05:33And Jao Pinto can have no complaints, frankly.
05:37It was a bad tackle.
05:39And he has got what he deserved.
05:43No one wants to see anyone set.
05:45Tried to stop his man.
05:47He put out his arm to bring Amor down.
05:50And Amor would have been round him and had a clear run on goal.
05:53And the referee, so soon after showing the yellow card to the Porto captain,
05:57felt he had no choice other than to produce red.
06:00Bayer will know this is well within striking range for the Dutchman Koeman,
06:09who is a leading scorer for Barcelona in Europe this season with seven goals.
06:13One more, in fact, will be a leading scorer jointly in the competition.
06:17And he almost got that one goal to overtour Barcelona.
06:22And the remaining 22 minutes is to keep the no fewer than seven players they have in the team tonight
06:27who are on one course and to keep them out of trouble.
06:29and not get a second booking, which would mean they would miss the final.
06:34To which they are surely heading.
06:39Fubisareta, Ferrer, Nadal, Bacchero, Amor, Guardiola and Romario are all on one booking.
06:45Stoichkov here, almost surprisingly isn't.
06:48And that's a great ball by him, it is Romario in the middle.
06:50And the ball never reached him.
06:55Coming back to Stoichkov.
06:59He doesn't score many goals.
07:09He doesn't get many opportunities to get them far.
07:11And that, and clinches a place in the European Cup Final for Barcelona.
07:18A memorable strike.
07:2018 minutes to go.
07:28What a goal.
07:32This man is incredible.
07:34It's his eighth goal in Europe this season.
07:38He's now level top scorer in the whole competition.
07:43It's 19 goals for the season for him in all competitions as well.
07:47And it's a rarity, because almost every one of his goals has come either from a free kick or a penalty.
07:57That one was, well, if there's been a harder shot this season from outside the box, I haven't seen it.
08:03A Kuhlman special, a fitting way to clinch a place in Athens for Barcelona.
08:11Brilliant.
08:12He won't agree.
08:13He won't agree.
08:19He won't agree.
