00:00Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today, we're counting down our picks for the Dancing
00:09with the Stars professional dancers who left their legacy on the show,
00:12even if they're no longer spinning around the dance floor.
00:21Number 30. Riley Arnold. Riley started her Dancing with the Stars journey on the junior
00:27show alongside actor Miles Brown. She joined the main show in season 32,
00:32wasting no time stepping out of big sister Lindsay Arnold's shadow.
00:36Talk about some pretty huge ballroom shoes to fill.
00:46She quickly made her mark with partner Harry Jowsey. Their routines weren't exactly top scorers,
00:51but their chemistry was so hot it carried them to the quarterfinals.
00:55Next season, she paired with Olympic gymnast Steven Neterozik, and they sailed to the finals,
01:00with their freestyle being particularly memorable.
01:16Riley has also used social media to win over fans, not just with her moves,
01:21but with an effervescent personality that's easy to root for.
01:24Number 29. Britt Stewart.
01:27Apparently, Britt was scouted by the Dancing
01:29with the Stars producers after they saw her prepping for the wonderful world of Disney,
01:33Disneyland 60. She was cast as a troop member, staying until it was disbanded ahead of season 29,
01:39when she finally got her first partner, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir.
01:53This also made Stewart the first black female pro on the show.
01:56She and Weir reached the semifinals, but she had less luck with other partners.
02:01Martin Cove was first eliminated, Adrian Peterson finished 11th, and Eric Roberts came in 10th.
02:18And don't worry, we haven't forgotten Daniel Durant. With him, Britt learned to get more creative with her
02:23choreography, and we got to see a friendship, and soon enough, love blossom.
02:48Number 28. Pasha Poshkov.
02:50Poshkov and his now-wife, Daniela Karagosh, were already seven-time U.S. 10 dance and Latin champions,
02:57repping the country around the world before ever stepping onto the Dancing with the Stars stage.
03:02Poshkov joined in Season 28 with actress Kate Flannery, making it to Week 8.
03:06I don't want a run anymore!
03:19Next came Carol Baskin, who was first to go.
03:22Then Christine Chu and Theresa Giudice, neither of whom changed his luck much.
03:27By season 33, Tori Spelling rounded out that rough streak.
03:30They do say everything happens in threes, right?
03:44But season 32 with Ariana Maddox changed everything.
03:48She grew stronger with every dance, and together they finished third.
03:52For once, it felt like Pashkov finally got the moment he'd been waiting for.
04:00Number 27, Brandon Armstrong.
04:11Armstrong may have joined in season 24, but his dancing with the star's roots run deep.
04:16He trained with the Ballas family.
04:18He got his first partner in season 27, singer Tinashe.
04:22We're probably surprising no one when we say they were consistently high scorers,
04:34so their Week 4 elimination was certainly unexpected.
04:37Armstrong has quite an impressive dancing with the star's resume,
04:41including Mary Wilson, Kenya Moore, Jordan Sparks, and Lele Pons,
04:45with Pons finishing in 8th place.
04:47In season 29, he was paired with Jeannie Mai, who had to pull out due to health reasons.
04:59Season 33 looked like his year with Chandler Kinney,
05:02becoming the first black duo to reach the final and finishing third overall.
05:06Number 26, Gleb Savchenko.
05:17Moscow-born Savchenko hit the dance floor at just 8 years old, and hasn't slowed down since.
05:23He's twirled through the Australian, Russian, and British versions of this competition
05:27before landing on the U.S. stage,
05:29where he's had the longest run, serving as both troop member and partner pro.
05:33Celebrating good times, come on, let's celebrate.
05:40Along the way, he even squeezed in a L'Oreal commercial with Jennifer Lopez.
05:44Over the years, he's been paired with Real Housewives, Pretty Little Liars,
05:48WNBA stars, and Spice Girls.
05:51If you wanna be my lover, you have got to give.
05:55Sicking is too easy, but that's the way it is.
05:59So far, Savchenko has reached three finals, with actress Janna Kramer, singer Lauren Alaina,
06:05and drag queen Shangela.
06:06With each of them, he finished in fourth place, which remains his highest placement to date.
06:19Hallelujah!
06:19Before joining Dancing with the Stars, Holker danced at the 2002 Olympics,
06:28appeared in the first two high school musical films,
06:31The X Factor USA, and Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts video.
06:35Collecting your jar of hearts, tearing love apart.
06:41She competed twice on So You Think You Can Dance,
06:44first reaching the quarterfinals, then returning as an all-star.
06:47Unlike most pros, Holker came in with little ballroom or Latin training,
06:52having a background in contemporary, tap, ballet, and jazz.
07:05Her first partner was Mean Girls' Jonathan Bennett, who placed ninth.
07:09She later danced with Andy Grammer and Kenny Babyface Edmonds.
07:12However, it was her season 20 run with Riker Lynch that truly stood out.
07:16They finished just shy of the mirror ball, leaving many to feel they'd been robbed.
07:21Don't mean a bang if I ain't your girl.
07:25A little party never killed nobody.
07:29So we gon' dance until we drop, drop, drop.
07:32Number 24.
07:33Edita Slavinska.
07:34Originally from Poland, this multi-award-winning dancer was part of the series from day one,
07:39dancing through ten seasons.
07:41She was first paired with Evander Holyfield, finishing a solid fifth,
07:45a placement she repeated with George Hamilton and Cameron Matheson.
07:57Her best runs came in seasons three and six,
08:02landing third with Joey Lawrence and second with Jason Taylor.
08:06The dirty little game, how's it go?
08:08The dirty little game, not too slow when I get low down.
08:12It's the dirty little game.
08:15In her final season, she was paired with the controversially cast Geraldo Rivera.
08:20Well, when you saw so with a very orange commander-in-chief,
08:23there's really nowhere else to go now, is there?
08:26Since leaving the series, she stayed in step with her husband and fellow alum Alec Mazzo,
08:30and even dabbled in acting.
08:32Number 23.
08:45Chelsea Hightower.
08:47Silver screens, treading the boards,
08:49international dance champ,
08:51and three-time-so-you-think-you-can-dance performer,
08:53Hightower was already a force before even stepping onto the Dancing with the Stars floor.
08:58My heart's crippled by the pain that I keep on closing.
09:04She joined in season eight, making her debut alongside rodeo star Ty Murray and placing fourth,
09:10her highest finish.
09:11From there, she teamed up with everyone from Romeo to Louis Vito to Michael Bolton.
09:16She also danced with former Dancing with the Stars champion Elio Castroneves in an all-star season,
09:32though that comeback ended in week three.
09:34While she never got her hands on the mirror ball during her time on the show,
09:37she still made her mark,
09:39earning an Emmy nomination for her show-stopping season 10 Paso Doble with Derek Hough.
09:43Number 22.
09:55Daniela Karagash.
09:57Karagash started dancing as a kid after being diagnosed with ADHD.
10:01She began competing in dance sport at 11,
10:03racking up national titles,
10:05and eventually met her now-husband and dance partner Pasha Pashkov.
10:09She joined Dancing with the Stars in season 28,
10:11but didn't get a partner until the following season,
10:14when she danced with Nelly and finished third.
10:20Her next season with Iman Shumpert was one for the books.
10:35Her spooky contemporary routine even scored her an Emmy nomination.
10:38After a short-lived season with Joseph Baena, they placed 11th, she made a big comeback, finishing second with Jason Mraz.
10:55In season 33, she danced with Dwight Howard, making it to the quarterfinals. Not too shabby.
11:08Number 21, Louis van Amstel.
11:14Van Amstel, one of the pros from the early days, arguably helped shape the show into what it is today.
11:20Come away with me and I'll never stop loving you.
11:30He started his career in the Netherlands with partner Julie Fryer, racking up high placements in major championships.
11:36He briefly hung up his dance shoes but laced them back up after moving to the U.S. and partnering up with Karina Smirnoff.
11:44He made his Dancing with the Stars debut with Trista Sutter, finishing sixth, and later danced with Monique Coleman, Priscilla Presley, Niecy Nash, Margaret Cho, and Sabrina Bryan, whose second early elimination remains one of the show's biggest shocks.
11:58We are as shocked right now as we were in season five when you stood here.
12:03His best result came with Kelly Osbourne, placing third.
12:07After ten seasons away, he returned with Cheryl Ladd, but was quickly booted out.
12:12Forever, forever, forever, and ever.
12:22Number 20, Lacey Schwimmer.
12:25Does Dancing with the Stars use So You Think You Can Dance as its personal talent pool?
12:28If so, this is apparently where it all started.
12:31Schwimmer grew up in a family of dancers and began competing as a child, scooping up titles along the way.
12:37She joined Dancing with the Stars for six seasons, first teaming with Lance Bass and finishing third.
12:43She next landed eighth with Steve-O and sixth with Mark Dacascos, before bouncing back as runner-up with Kyle Massey.
12:56She then went from one extreme to the other, finishing second one season, then getting eliminated first with Mike Catherwood the next.
13:03I used up all of my tricks, I hope that you like this, but you probably won't, you think you're cool with me.
13:10Her final run was with Chaz Bono, finishing seventh.
13:14Outside the ballroom, Schwimmer launched a music career, debuting her single Love Sounds in 2011.
13:19Shake it, shake it, I'm a keeper, baby.
13:22All I wanna do, all I wanna do, wanna do it all night.
13:27Number 19, Jenna Johnson.
13:30Serving as a five-time U.S. National Latin champion, Johnson is also a prior So You Think You Can Dance contestant, making it to the top eight on season 10.
13:39She later danced as part of the Stars troupe between seasons 18 and 22, before making her professional partner debut on season 23 with Jake T. Austin.
13:48My name is Jenna Johnson, and for my first season as a pro, I need a man I can win this with.
13:53They didn't go far.
13:55However, her next year fared far better, as she won the Mirrorball Trophy with former figure skater Adam Rippon, with an average score of 27.6.
14:05Talk about a comeback.
14:07Absolutely fantastic dancing all the way through.
14:10Your timing is impeccable, and your partner work is outstanding.
14:16The following year, she placed fifth with Joe Amabile, and in season 28, she placed eighth with Karamo Brown, and it feels like she almost always continues to rise.
14:26Needless to say, every year she manages to make one heck of an impression.
14:30I couldn't do any of this without Jenna.
14:32She's an incredible person and a real friend.
14:34Number 18, Kiyo Matzepe.
14:36Hailing from South Africa, Kiyo Matzepe made Dancing with the Stars history in 2014 by becoming the first professional black dancer in the show's history.
14:45And I know the pressure.
14:47I know the hard work.
14:48I know the commitment.
14:49And I'm going to bring it every week.
14:50He was teamed with Olympic athlete Lolo Jones, but they were eliminated in the very first week with a cumulative score of 22.
14:57Matzepe struggled through his early stars career.
15:00He was the first eliminated in three of his first six appearances, and in two others, he placed 11th and 12th.
15:07However, he found his groove in season 26, placing fourth with Jenny Finch.
15:12Week one was incredible.
15:14I couldn't imagine a better first dance.
15:16Every breezy, fresh you have the talent to make it all happen in the next few weeks.
15:23The following year, he placed a fantastic third with Ivana Lynch, complete with four perfect dances.
15:29I always felt you were slightly behind.
15:32No way, Jose, tonight!
15:34Number 17, Alan Burstyn.
15:36This Latin and ballroom dancer from Minnesota also competed on the 10th season of So You Think You Can Dance alongside Jenna Johnson.
15:43Although, he only made it to the top 12.
15:46He danced in the Stars troupe for five seasons before making his partner debut with Debbie Gibson in season 25.
15:51My name is Alan Burstyn, and this is my first season as a pro on Dancing with the Stars, and I could not be any more excited.
15:58They placed 12th.
15:59It would be Burstyn's worst placement by far.
16:02In the three following seasons, he placed no lower than fourth.
16:06He placed there with both Mariah Nagasu and Alexis Wren before taking home the Mirrorball trophy with Hannah Brown in season 28.
16:13Let's freaking win this thing.
16:15Go out with a bang.
16:16Let's go.
16:16Fire.
16:17Bring the heat, yeah.
16:18Bring the heat!
16:19Their final performance, a freestyle to Girl on Fire and Hollaback Girl, earned a perfect 30 from the judges.
16:26Burstyn has certainly had some memorable partners, and certainly some we're sure will be friends for life.
16:31Number 16, Sasha Farber.
16:47Born in Moscow, Farber moved with his family to Australia when he was two years old and represented the country at various ceremonies and competitions,
16:55including the World Latin Championships and the 2000 Sydney Olympics Closing Ceremony.
17:00He made his partner debut in season 17 with Snooki, placing 8th with an average score of 25.
17:10Farber has performed consistently well throughout his star's career, placing 5th or higher in 7 of his 12 appearances so far.
17:17Because he said, you know, he has to beat his wife, so, you know, I'm like, okay, I'll do my best.
17:23These include two third-place finishes, one with Tonya Harding and another with Ali Brooke, with whom he landed an average score of 26.6 and 5 perfect dances.
17:34Carrie-Anne Inarvin.
17:36Ted!
17:40Ted!
17:41Ted!
17:43Ted!
17:45Woo!
17:47Number 15, Emma Slater.
17:49There is quite a little family on Dancing with the Stars.
17:52Slater was married to fellow pro Sasha Farber, and her twin sister works as both a stylist and costume designer on the show.
17:58Will you marry me?
18:00Will you marry me?
18:00Will you marry me?
18:02Will you marry me?
18:04Will you marry me?
18:06Will you marry me?
18:07Following a career in theater and appearing in the 2008 film adaptation of Mamma Mia, Slater made her professional debut in season 17 with Bill Engvall.
18:16You got it?
18:17Yeah.
18:22It could work.
18:24There's your champions right there.
18:25They placed fourth with an average score of 22.5.
18:29It would be her best performance until season 24, when she proved victorious with football player Rashad Jennings.
18:36Never had a partner on the show that has much like...
18:38Little hips.
18:39Rashad has this energy and this smile that just lights up the room.
18:43The two earned their first 10 in week four and scored two perfect dances.
18:47They also earned the highest average of Slater's career with 27.
18:50Ever since, however, Slater's placement seemed to mostly drop.
18:54Well, there's always next time.
18:56Number 14.
18:57Tony Dovolani
18:58This Albanian dancer is one of the old-school partners, making his first appearance all the way back in season 2 with Stacey Keebler.
19:05The duo placed third with an average score of 27.7.
19:09That's two weeks in a row with a perfect score.
19:11When you get two perfect scores in a row, where do you go from there?
19:14He would continue to perform well, placing fourth with Marissa Jarrett Winokur in season 6 and third again with Melissa Rycroft in season 8.
19:23Following a string of disappointing outcomes, Dovolani finally touched the Mirabal trophy in season 15, dancing again with Rycroft in an All-Stars season.
19:32I just feel like the other two couples should really fear us because of the fact that we're not going to hold back.
19:37We're not going, oh yeah, you're the champions.
19:38We're not doing that.
19:39Sorry.
19:40I waited 14 seasons for this chance.
19:42I'm not letting them have it.
19:43The two earned an excellent average score of 28 and five perfect dances, eking out both Kelly Monaco and Valentin Schmierkowski and Sean Johnson and Derek Haaf.
19:53Now they have one too.
19:54Melissa and Tony!
19:57Dovolani officially retired from Starz in February 2018 at the age of 44.
20:04Number 13.
20:05Anna Trebunskaya
20:06Another child to professional dancers, Trebunskaya was born in Russia, won her first dancing competition at age 7 and moved to the United States at 17.
20:16She made her Starz debut in season 2 and what a debut it was.
20:20She placed second with football player Jerry Rice, eventually losing to Drew Lachey and Sheryl Burke.
20:26She would again play second in season 10 with Evan Lysacek, earning two perfect scores.
20:31Strong yet artistic.
20:34Plenty of attack.
20:35The best elevation we've seen in a puzzle double this season.
20:40A puzzle double with passion.
20:42It would be her last great season as she later floundered with the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard, Jack Wagner and Gary Busey.
20:48Every single day in rehearsal, I have to take into account that Gary has trauma to his brain.
20:54The latter would prove to be her final appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
20:59Number 12.
21:00Sharna Burgess
21:01Along with Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess also represented her native Australia at the closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
21:09Eleven years later, she appeared as a troupe dancer on Starz and made her partner debut in season 16 with Andy Dick.
21:16They placed a decent seventh.
21:18Burgess tasted but never quite attained victory throughout much of her Starz career, having placed second in three seasons.
21:25You're gonna need footwork, you're gonna need lines, you're gonna need passion, you're gonna need fire.
21:31And desire.
21:32Her peak came in seasons 26 and 27.
21:35In the former, she placed second with Josh Norman.
21:45In the latter, she finally won the Mirrorball Trophy with radio host Bobby Bones,
21:50despite averaging just 22.8 and earning sevens up to the semifinals.
21:55Surreal.
21:56It was like watching Ryan Seacrest doing Buddy Holly, going jiving crazy with Red Hot Sharna.
22:05It was exquisitely demented.
22:09Number 11.
22:10Lindsay Arnold
22:11Another So You Think You Can Dance contestant and great friend of Emma Slater,
22:15Arnold was an absolute powerhouse on Dancing with the Stars.
22:18She made her debut back in season 16, placing eighth with Victor Ortiz.
22:24Ow, dude, I'm sore.
22:26What?
22:26I'm sore.
22:27Are you yawning?
22:30No, I was kind of...
22:33No, you just were opening your mouth for fun.
22:35It would be her lowest placement in 10 seasons.
22:38Although she placed eighth again with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,
22:41Arnold has placed fourth or better in five of her 10 seasons,
22:44including two third-place finishes, one second, and one first.
22:49I have never won the Mirrorball.
22:51And my track record right now is fourth place, third place, second place.
22:55I mean, come on, guys.
22:57First place's gotta be next.
22:59She won the Mirrorball with actor Jordan Fisher in season 25,
23:02complete with a stellar average score of 27.9
23:06and nine perfectly scored dances, including four in the finale.
23:17It was a well-deserved win indeed.
23:21Number 10.
23:22Whitney Carson.
23:23Along with best friend Lindsay Arnold,
23:25who served as Carson's matron of honor at her wedding,
23:28Carson is one of the all-time great Dancing with the Stars partners.
23:31She took home the Mirrorball in her second season on the show,
23:34dancing with Alfonso Ribeiro and earning five perfect scores.
23:38America.
23:39She was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography for her work.
23:46Flour-tessiously delicious dancing sitcom.
23:50Brilliant role-playing and Broadway standard jam.
23:56Carson has also earned two fourth-place finishes,
23:59two-thirds with Frankie Muniz and Wayne Brady,
24:02and two seconds with both Milo Manheim and Cal Mitchell,
24:05both of which were back-to-back placements in seasons 27 and 28.
24:09To show and display this kind of range of performance, style, grace,
24:13the way you match lines considering the height and shape difference of you two was ridiculous.
24:17Too bad about that Chris Catanier, though.
24:20Number 9.
24:21Pita Murgatroyd.
24:22Born in New Zealand but raised in Australia,
24:24Pita Murgatroyd has been dancing since she was four years old.
24:28She studied ballet extensively until an ankle injury forced her to retire at 16.
24:33In football, catches win matches, and chances win dances.
24:38She ventured into Latin dancing and landed on stars in season 13,
24:42being paired with Metta World Peace.
24:44They did not do well,
24:46scoring a cumulative 14 and being the first team eliminated.
24:49Your footwork was atrocious.
24:52It was full of...
24:53I do not lie.
24:56It was all sizzle, no sausage, I'm afraid.
24:59However, Murgatroyd enjoyed a stellar turnaround and placed first the next year with Donald Driver,
25:04making her the second pro to win after placing last on the previous season.
25:12Donald and Pita!
25:13It wasn't the only time that Murgatroyd has touched the trophy,
25:20as she won again in season 22 with activist Niall DeMarco.
25:24Number 8.
25:25Karina Smirnoff.
25:26One of the most prolific and popular dancers in Dancing with the Stars history,
25:31Karina Smirnoff made her debut in season 3 with actor and journalist Mario Lopez.
25:35The two performed extremely well, averaging 27.6 and earning three perfect scores.
25:41Go out there and be disciplined, but have a lot of fun at the same time.
25:45However, they were runners-up to Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke.
25:48It was Smirnoff's first of two second-place finishes,
25:51as she also served as runner-up in season 17 with Corbin Bleu.
25:55Luckily, Smirnoff has tasted victory.
25:57I tell you, you can dance, I'm telling you.
26:00She emerged the victor of season 13 with former soldier and motivational speaker J.R. Martinez,
26:06earning four perfect scores with their waltz, instant jive, freestyle, and instant samba.
26:11Thank you, America, for believing in us.
26:13And I want to say, you know what?
26:15You are amazing, and I'm so grateful that I was able to be a part of your first Mirabal trophy.
26:21Thank you very much.
26:22Congratulations, Karina.
26:24Number 7.
26:25Maxim Shmierkovsky.
26:26This Ukrainian dancer is a Dancing with the Stars legend.
26:29Having made it to the final round in five separate seasons.
26:33I'm Maxim Shmierkovsky, and I've been labeled the bad girl Berlin.
26:37But how can it be bad when it feels so good?
26:39After sixth and seven-place finishes,
26:42Shmierkovsky plays third with Leila Ali and second with Mel B.
26:45He would again place third in season 10 with Aaron Andrews
26:48and second in season 12 with Kirstie Alley.
26:51It wouldn't be until season 18, Shmierkovsky's 14th,
26:54that he would finally take home the Mirabal trophy.
26:57The spirit of a champion have brought you to this moment,
26:59to the viewers' vote, to give you the trophy.
27:01He won with ice dancer Meryl Davis,
27:04and the two enjoyed an astounding average score of 28.4.
27:08This included six perfect scores,
27:10including five consecutive perfect dances in the semifinals and finals.
27:14This was their season to lose.
27:16You always hope for something like this.
27:18You might not have expected it, but did you be found?
27:22I saw you.
27:23Number six, Julianne Hough.
27:27Amazingly, Hough has only danced in five seasons, four through eight.
27:31That whole experience was my family.
27:34It's where everything began,
27:36and I owe my entire career,
27:39my growth as a performer, as an artist,
27:43from Dancing with the Stars.
27:44However, she earned her place in Dancing with the Stars history
27:47by winning back-to-back Mirabal trophies in seasons four and five.
27:51You've got the finishing line inside.
27:54I can see the race.
27:57You've got the gears going.
28:00Incredible.
28:01In the former, she danced with speed skater Apollo Ono,
28:04and earned an average score of 27.5.
28:07The following year, she was paired with Brazilian race car driver Helio Castroneves,
28:12averaging 27.1.
28:14For her incredible work on the show,
28:16Hough received three Emmy Award nominations
28:18and one win for Outstanding Choreography.
28:21She retired from dancing after season eight in 2009,
28:24but later reappeared as a judge,
28:26serving full-time between seasons 19 and 24,
28:29minus season 22.
28:31It's such an easy job because you have 20 seconds,
28:35but at the same time, there's so much pressure
28:37because you want to be able to say the right thing
28:39that can really help that couple do the best that they can for next week, you know?
28:44Number five, Kim Johnson.
28:46Yet another professional dancer hailing from Down Under,
28:49Johnson competed on three seasons of Dancing with the Stars Australia,
28:53even winning one before making her way to the American version in season three.
28:57She performed well, scoring second in two of her first five appearances.
29:02She hit her stride in season nine, winning the Mirrorball with Donny Osmond.
29:06Tonight, welcome to the Hall of Fame of the Priest.
29:10Johnson then experienced a bit of a yo-yo effect,
29:13being the first eliminated in her follow-up season with David Hasselhoff,
29:17and then winning again with Hines Ward.
29:19While she hasn't reclaimed the trophy for a third time,
29:22she has won something else, love.
29:25Your chemistry is ridiculous.
29:27There's something so palpable about the energy that's exchanged,
29:29and it's so positive.
29:30Cheesiness aside,
29:32she married her season 20 partner Robert Herjavec in 2016,
29:35and now goes by Kim Herjavec.
29:37That's how you set the mood, the mood for love.
29:40We love you a long time, baby.
29:42Love.
29:42No, you do.
29:43I felt it.
29:44I really felt it.
29:45There is so much commitment between you two.
29:47It's so beautiful to watch.
29:48Number four, Cheryl Burke.
29:51Many Dancing with the Stars records were set by Cheryl Burke.
29:53That was exciting.
29:55It was fearless.
29:56It was powerful.
29:56It was passionate.
29:57It was everything.
29:57You know how to bring it to the dance floor when it matters.
30:00She was the first female professional to win,
30:02winning season two with Drew Lachey.
30:04The two enjoyed an average rating of 27.7.
30:08The following year,
30:09Burke became the first professional to win two seasons,
30:11taking home the trophy again with football player Emmett Smith
30:14and averaging 26.8.
30:16And with the Smith win,
30:18Burke became the first professional to win back-to-back seasons.
30:20Two-time champion Cheryl Burke and new champion Emmett Smith.
30:27Unfortunately, she would never reclaim the glory,
30:29although she enjoyed four third-place finishes and two second.
30:33She also competed regularly from season two until season 31,
30:37making her one of the prominent professionals on the show.
30:40We had a great start.
30:41We had a great finish.
30:42We had a great medal.
30:43That's a good show.
30:43Number three, Valentin Schmierkowski.
30:46Serving as Maxim's younger brother
30:48and Peter Murgatroyd's brother-in-law and Jenna Johnson's husband,
30:51Valentin made his official partner debut in season 13 with Elisabetta Canales,
30:56despite previously dancing with his older brother on the show.
30:59I don't let anything go wrong with me.
31:02Bro, you're one big wrong already.
31:04For my whole life.
31:06I'm gonna swear to God I'm gonna call my mom right now.
31:07I don't understand.
31:08The two placed a disappointing 11th.
31:10It's not working.
31:12We gotta keep practicing.
31:13Keep going.
31:14But beginning in season 15, Schmierkowski entered into an incredible and historic run.
31:20I want you to enjoy this moment.
31:22But I also want you to understand that now,
31:25you have to be better than perfect.
31:27Overall, he's landed four third-place finishes,
31:30two second, and three firsts.
31:33In season 20 with Rumer Willis,
31:34and again in season 23 with Laurie Hernandez,
31:37and finally in season 32 with Sochi Gomez.
31:40He also holds the record for the earliest perfect score in Dancing with the Stars history,
31:45earning four 10s in week three of season 19 with Janelle Parrish.
31:50Number 2.
31:51Mark Ballas.
31:52This Texan was born into a family of dancers,
31:55including Latin champion father Corky,
31:57and celebrated queen of Latin Shirley Ballas.
32:00I'm gonna kill what the people say.
32:03Don't do it my way, don't do it my way.
32:06Needless to say, expectations were high.
32:08Needless to say, again, Ballas met them all and then some.
32:13He took home the mirror ball in his second season,
32:15having been partnered with Christy Yamaguchi.
32:17Following an 11th place finish with Kim Kardashian,
32:20Ballas won yet again with Shawn Johnson and once more with Charli D'Amelio.
32:25His achievements also include three third-place finishes and four second.
32:28Two snaps up.
32:30Yeah!
32:31Three snaps up.
32:33And around and around and around.
32:35And I'm working, working, working.
