00:00hello folks so I've taken a bit of a detour I got lost actually trying to find my way back

00:09onto the trail and I've just come across this vegetation heap this compost heap and I just

00:16happened to see two adders sunbathing on it I can zoom in that's as far as I can get but you've got

00:24a black adder on the right and a another adder on the left so that one on the left is a female the

00:32brown coloration I'm not sure what sex the black one is because it's black males are usually a

00:38gray silver but how amazing is that so at the moment they are aware of me but they're relying

00:49on their camouflage to stay hidden and they'll just sit there and they won't move but um I used

01:00to study these snakes in the wild years ago and so um if I see them they stand out a mouth there you go

01:07look see that all right so definitely spook them that one's had enough because I'm not risking it
