This virgin revealed how she fell pregnant despite never having sex - leaving the internet claiming she had an “immaculate conception”.
Kelsi Mickelson, 34, from St. George Utah, USA, shared the story of how she found out she was pregnant despite still being a 'virgin'.
When Kelsi was just fifteen-years-old she found out her vaginal opening was so small she couldn’t even use a tampon, let alone have sex.
She said: “I went to my mom. She takes me to the doctor. My first OBGYN (gynecology) appointment.
“She told me, ‘Honey, I can't even get my pinky in there.
“She could not do a pelvic exam. So she's like, ‘It doesn't affect you and it's not a problem except you can't have sex.’
When she turned sixteen, Kelsi met her boyfriend and told him the news of her lack of sexual activity - which she says he fully accepted.
Kelsi claimed after a night of ‘fooling around’ with non-penetrative sex she was three weeks late for her period.
However, the thought of pregnancy didn't even cross her mind.
It wasn't until two more weeks had passed with no sign of a period that Kelsi decided to buy a pregnancy test.
Taking ten tests to confirm the shocking truth, two solid lines appeared, and Kelsi was pregnant.
After visiting the same doctor who told her she couldn't have sex, she learned that she was in fact two months pregnant.
The shocking pregnancy took Kelsi by surprise, and she decided to take it upon herself to stretch her vaginal opening in preparation for the birth.
Whilst six months pregnant, Kelsi finally lost her virginity after being able to have sex with boyfriend, however she claims it was extremely painful.
Her rare condition did complicate her delivery, with doctors worried they might have to surgically open the vaginal tissue during labour.
However, she was able to give birth to her daughter naturally.
Sharing her story online, viewers were left in shock and claimed she had an ‘immaculate conception’.
She said: “I met my boyfriend when I was 16.
“One time we fooled around like that.
“I was two weeks late and started to panic. My period has never been late before. I went and bought a test and it was positive immediately. I then went a little nuts and bought 10 more tests of different kinds to make sure. They were all positive.
“By the time I got to the doctor's office with my mom, I was two months pregnant.
“Finally at six months pregnant, I had stretched the hole open enough that me and my husband finally did the deed and it actually was super painful because it was still super, super tight.
“I didn't have normal intercourse until after my daughter was born.
“Even up until the day of going into labour, it was hard for them to even do full pelvic exams because the skin was still there and it was thick.
“After they were thinking they would have to go and like cut some of the skin off, they didn't - it disintegrated.
“Her coming down the birth canal, all that skin was gone. So when I say I got pregnant without having sex, I literally got pregnant without having sex.”
