Watch the moment a humanoid robot from China struggles during the obstacle course at the World Humanoid Robot Games, losing its balance on a slope and toppling over.

Xinyi Qiao, from Shanghai, China, filmed the clip showing the robot attempting to climb the a combination of inclines before stumbling and falling backwards.

Engineers then step in, carefully carrying the machine out of the course to safety.

The footage, gathered over 100,000 views on RedNote, with many viewers amused about the robot fail.

One viewer joked: ‘Even robots know the pain of leg day.’
Another added: ‘It’s like watching a toddler learn to walk, but with engineers on standby.’
