Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy defends Sir Keir Starmer's handling of Lord Mandelson sacking, saying it was only after reviewing the emails exchanged between the former ambassador and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein that the prime minister realised the "scale and extent" of their relationship and sacked him. 00:30right decision to do that and when one looked at the ways in which Peter attempted to defend

00:41Epstein's actions, bearing in mind the victims of his behaviour, it was right that he could

00:49no longer continue to serve as our ambassador in the United States.
