00:00Greetings and salutations gamers, you know this B, JohnTheGamersD4, the legend, the one and only, and yours truly.
00:09And I welcome you to a new video game collection showcase.
00:15So it seems that I have not finished showing off my entire video game collection.
00:23It's very big, I mean if you watched all my previous videos I have quite a bit of games.
00:29So I guess the last few consoles I need to cover are PlayStation 4 collection, original Xbox, but damn, that's probably the biggest one I got, like thus far.
00:43And this one, Xbox One.
00:47So, let's dive right into it, and here we go.
00:51So we'll start it off with the Kick-Ass Collector's Edition.
00:55I think I only paid like, either $40 or $50 for this one, off Amazon.
01:00And that is NoMoreHeroes 3.
01:03It's an awesome box.
01:07Yeah, this was a fantastic series.
01:13I love how it's like so, like raunchy and like awesome.
01:19Like fantastic story, gameplay, like it was just amazing.
01:26But yeah, I really need to beat this one.
01:30Because I already finished the two on Switch.
01:33Well, I actually also had the first one on the Wii.
01:37So it was pretty cool experiencing the very first game on the Wii.
01:41Well, yeah.
01:42NoMoreHeroes 3.
01:45Or, yeah, I don't know.
01:48Okay, cool.
01:50Alright, next game we have is 3.
01:54I think this is like, what, a remake?
01:59Of the first, the one that was on 360, if I'm not mistaken.
02:04I think I remember playing this at one of my friend's house.
02:08Yeah, it was definitely an interesting one.
02:23Alright.
02:25And next we have is Dishonored 2.
02:28I think I picked this one up for like, I don't know, less than $10.
02:35Maybe like $5, I want to say.
02:37But yeah.
02:40Yeah, I have like a special memory with the first game though.
02:44So I actually played it on 360 at one of my other friends' house.
02:50And, well no, actually, I think, yeah, she hung out at my place.
02:56She brought her 360.
02:58I think we played the game at my place.
03:01But yeah, I do remember there was this cool like, rat weapon that she showed me.
03:06Where like, swarms of rats come and just like, eat your enemies.
03:10And yeah, it was pretty nuts, man.
03:12It was like...
03:14That was definitely one of my favorite memories of that game with her.
03:16But yeah.
03:18But yeah.
03:19Okay.
03:20Next we got is Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.
03:25An homage to the Castlevania series.
03:29Specifically Symphony of the Night.
03:31Symphony of the Night.
03:36So before this one, I think there was like, two Bloodstained games before this one.
03:41That were more like, catered, kind of like the NES, like Castlevania style games.
03:46But yeah, I need to like, definitely finish that too.
03:51But there's like so much I need to finish.
03:53Like I already know I got like a whole sea of backlog games that I need to finish.
03:59It's insane, man.
04:02Okay.
04:03Next we have is Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.
04:11Okay, next game is Sekiro Shadows Die Twice from Software.
04:16So originally this game was supposed to be a new Tenchu game.
04:20But then they pulled like a 180 and freaking decided to do something else.
04:26Which was kind of disappointing to me because I'm like, damn dude.
04:30I wanted to see how they were going to like, play off the cliffhanger of Shadow Assassins.
04:36I'm not going to spoil it for you guys, but yeah.
04:38If you played it, you beaten it, you know what I'm talking about.
04:41But yeah, I mean, this is a good game.
04:46I'm not going to lie.
04:47I love anything Ninja, really.
04:50So, this is one I definitely got to finish.
04:53I think I'm like, after your, what was that one place?
05:01It was like a little snowy ridge or something and then you fight like that big snake.
05:05Like, yeah, it was pretty wild, man.
05:09Well, yep, that's Sekiro.
05:13Sekiro.
05:14Okay.
05:17Next we have is Override Mech City Brawl.
05:20So yeah, this one, you know, I gave it a chance.
05:28They only paid like 10 bucks for this one.
05:31Because, you know, I love anything mechs.
05:33Especially Gundam and Virtual On and...
05:37Yeah, just anything with giant robots.
05:40But what I played of it, I mean, it was okay.
05:42Maybe it was just like...
05:44Maybe I was expecting more.
05:46But they did make a sequel to this too, so...
05:50I don't know.
05:51Just need to go back and play it, see if it'll get better.
05:58Alright, next game we have is Crackdown 3.
06:02I think I obviously paid five bucks for it from Retro City Games at their old town square location.
06:11Before they closed down and moved to the Las Vegas Outlet Mall on Las Vegas Boulevard.
06:22But yeah, I remember playing, I think the first one, a little bit of the second one at a friend's house.
06:28Definitely had a blast with it.
06:34But yeah, and Terry Crews is in this one, so...
06:38Like, that's cool.
06:40Five bucks, can't go wrong.
06:43Okay.
06:44And next we have...
06:46Evolve.
06:47Another purchase from Retro City Games at their old town square location.
06:50So before I actually made this purchase, I researched the game to see if it had, like, an offline mode.
06:57Surprisingly it did.
06:59That's the only reason I got it.
07:01I mean, for five bucks, I'm like...
07:03Why not?
07:05So you got this cool slipcover.
07:06Oh, so speaking of this game actually was gifted the pop figure of the monster from Evolve.
07:18So I'll show you real quick.
07:19There's an ugly little bugger.
07:25It's kind of creepy in my room, man.
07:28It's like...
07:29It's like a little gremlin that will, like, pop up and kill me or something.
07:34But yeah, it's a pretty dope figure, man.
07:36Pretty awesome gift I got.
07:38But the game itself is pretty good, man.
07:40But holy crap, you can really kick your butt in certain...
07:46Certain modes here.
07:52But it's cool. I mean, I like playing as a monster.
07:55But playing as a humans and, like, you know, switching between the squad...
08:01It's pretty cool, too.
08:05But yeah, not bad for five bucks, man.
08:07Glad I get to play offline.
08:11And next we have is Doom Eternal.
08:14And my brother actually got me this one.
08:17For Christmas.
08:19Yeah, I think it was for Christmas.
08:23So yeah, I'm a little behind, as you can see.
08:28But I am enjoying the hell out of it.
08:31And yeah, I don't have a PS5 or an Xbox Series X or S or whatever.
08:36I mean, I do want to play the new one, the Dark Ages, but...
08:43It's not enticing me to get it.
08:45Plus, I heard they're not doing...
08:48Something about the physical, like, wasn't really physical or something like that.
08:51I don't know.
08:54And that's the trouble with, like, the next-gen consoles.
08:56I'm like, yeah, they're really trying to push out the physical games out.
09:05Kind of sad, really.
09:06You know, just being a retro gamer.
09:08But, you know, I guess that's just the way things are going nowadays with the video game industry.
09:12Alright, next we have is Yooka-Laylee.
09:17Spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie.
09:22And I guess they're, uh...
09:24Oh, re-releasing this?
09:25On the modern consoles or something?
09:28I don't know, I mean, this is the only one I've owned.
09:31And I know they made, like, a sequel to this.
09:34That was more like a side-scrolling platformer.
09:36But, yeah, pretty fun from when I played a bit.
09:42Oh, plus, Yooka-Laylee were, uh...
09:45Guest characters in that one game, Jitsu Squad, on PS4.
09:49That one was pretty good.
09:51Okay.
09:53Next we got...
09:55Grand Theft Auto.
09:57Defensive Edition.
09:59Like, it got a little better.
10:01A little better after the updates.
10:03Not gonna lie.
10:04I mean, it was definitely a rough ride when it first came out.
10:07But, you know...
10:09Of course I got the original games to play, so it's really...
10:12Not a biggie.
10:16But, I mean...
10:17It's playable.
10:19Just kinda sad that they had to, like, edit out some certain content in each of the games.
10:25Which was kinda lame.
10:26I'm like, ugh.
10:27Why?
10:28Why?
10:31Okay.
10:32What we have is...
10:33Agents of Mayhem.
10:39So, yeah. Agents of Mayhem.
10:43Yep.
10:44Gotta love these open world games.
10:46So, I guess...
10:47You're like a superhero squad or something.
10:51Kinda like Suicide Squad, but they're not bad guys.
10:53Just like a group of heroes.
10:59Yeah.
11:00Definitely an interesting one.
11:05Next we got is...
11:07South Park.
11:08The Fractured Butthole.
11:10I love to play on words.
11:12Cause you know they're saying the fractured butthole.
11:14But, you know, I guess...
11:16You know, put emphasis on it.
11:17South Park.
11:18The Fractured Butthole.
11:26But, yeah.
11:27This is a fun one.
11:28Can't go wrong with, like, South Park games.
11:32I mean, shit.
11:33I even liked the one on Nintendo C4 that was like a first-person shooter.
11:36Yeah.
11:37I really don't care if people didn't like that one.
11:40And I actually liked the kart one.
11:43It was like a...
11:45Almost like a Mario Kart style game.
11:47Like racing game.
11:51Alright.
11:52And...
11:53Haven't played it yet.
11:54You can see it's still factory sealed.
11:57Wolf Design 2.
11:58The new Colossus.
12:01So...
12:02Yeah.
12:03That's another one I need to dive into.
12:06I mean, there's a show load of games that I dive into.
12:08But, you know.
12:11Alright.
12:12Next.
12:13We got...
12:14Power Rangers.
12:15Battle for the Grid.
12:16What?
12:17So this is just like the plain vanilla one.
12:19So I think I only paid like 2 or 3 bucks for this one at GameStop.
12:24And, you know, I don't shop there too often.
12:26Cause they kinda suck.
12:27But...
12:31But, yeah.
12:32It's a decent fighter.
12:33It's not bad.
12:34Kinda cool.
12:35I like the little tag assist.
12:37Or...
12:38What not.
12:42And my boy Goldar.
12:43Definitely my favorite Power Rangers villain of all time.
12:47Even though he's a little goofy.
12:48But...
12:49Still badass, nonetheless.
12:50And next we got is Extinction.
12:51Only 5 bucks.
12:52I think I picked this one up from Retro City Games at the Old Town Square location.
13:05I mean, it was...
13:06It was...
13:07Not...
13:08Bad, but...
13:09I don't know.
13:10I think they're kinda like false advertising on the Dismember and the Capitee Ogres thing.
13:14Cause there wasn't a lot of like...
13:16Hardcore or like...
13:17Gore or anything like that.
13:18Or anything like that.
13:23But I mean...
13:24It was...
13:25It's alright.
13:27But for 5 bucks, you really can't complain, I guess.
13:31Gameplay's decent, but...
13:34Lacking in the gore department.
13:36And next we have Rice on our room.
13:41Speaking of gore.
13:43So I haven't played this one yet.
13:46I think I purchased this one at GameStop as well.
13:49But I think I only paid like 5-6 bucks for this one.
13:56Yep, had to try it out though.
14:01And next we have is Worms WMD All Stars.
14:06That's pretty cool.
14:07They got like...
14:08Some rare...
14:09Characters.
14:11Some rare...
14:12Characters.
14:13Get it?
14:14The Battletoads.
14:16Got the ukulele.
14:18Even though that's not rare.
14:20That's a reference to...
14:23What used to be rare.
14:27And then...
14:29Full gore for Killer Instinct.
14:30Like...
14:31That's pretty cool.
14:37Yeah, I need to go back and play this, man.
14:40I like how you can like drive tanks in this one and whatnot.
14:44It says you can use mounted guns.
14:50Yep.
14:51Love the Worms series.
14:53Except for that last one that came out was like Worms Rumble and it was like a...
14:57Online only game.
14:59Which was lame.
15:01But...
15:02What I liked about it was the gameplay.
15:03I'm like, oh what?
15:04It's like a real-time like, you know...
15:07Shooter.
15:09Not turn-based like the original game.
15:12But damn, when they said online only, I was like...
15:14Goddamn, dude.
15:15You mean to tell me they couldn't do like a four-player split-screen?
15:18Like local multiplayer deal?
15:21That's what kind of killed it for me, but...
15:23You know.
15:24It is what it is.
15:25Because I'm not really big on like online multiplayer games.
15:29Only local, baby.
15:31Alright, and we got the Gears of War Ultimate Edition.
15:33So that's the HD remaster.
15:34Which includes five additional campaign chapters and no relief on the console.
15:46Yo boi.
15:52Yeah, Gears of War is pretty dope.
15:55I remember playing the first one at my friend's house.
16:00Good time.
16:01I think we played it on a gamer night one time.
16:06Alright, next game we got is Shadow Warrior.
16:10I think this is like the reboot of the first game, I think.
16:14Who wants the money?
16:21Pretty cool.
16:23Fighting demons stuff.
16:26Sword play, gun play.
16:28Damn, I think they're up to like the third game now.
16:30It's crazy.
16:34But it was cool.
16:35There was a little references to Hotline Miami in this game.
16:39Because of the Evolver digital...
16:43Collab.
16:44Or I guess they're the ones that made the game, I don't know.
16:56Pretty cool to see Hotline Miami references in there.
17:02Alright.
17:04And next we have Shaq-Fu.
17:06Nah, just kidding.
17:08Shaq-Fu.
17:09Legend Reborn.
17:13So it's kind of interesting how they turned this one into a beat-em-up.
17:17Instead of a fighting game.
17:19So I'm like, oh, I guess they'll just change genres and...
17:22Make it better that way.
17:23Make it better that way.
17:26I don't know why they didn't just like make a better fighting game instead.
17:29But you know, beat-em-ups always had a special place in my heart anyway.
17:33But yeah, oh man, this had some like cringy humor.
17:43Like this one where like one of the Asian assassins like made a comment about Shaq being like burnt rice.
17:54I'm like, what the fuck?
17:55Like that was so tongue-in-cheek.
17:57It just made me cringe.
17:58I'm like, really?
18:00It's a bit much.
18:01A bit much, man.
18:04I mean, it was fun to play.
18:06And I think I left off on that stupid like Paris Hilton-like boss.
18:15Alright, next we have Sunset Overdrive.
18:19Probably one of my favorite like open-world games on Xbox One here.
18:25Yeah, such a unique game.
18:27It's like freaking energy drinks that turn people into mutants.
18:31Like that was so freaking cool.
18:33And there's like a lot of creative weapons in this one.
18:36Like, really enjoy it.
18:40Haven't finished it, but need to.
18:49Okay, next.
18:50We got the Shinmu 1 and 2 remaster.
18:55Well, yeah, I think it's remastered, right?
18:59Update a user interface, Japanese or English voiceover.
19:03Yeah, so I'm pretty sure it's a remaster.
19:17And then reminds me I got to finish the third game because I didn't finish the third game.
19:22Being the first two.
19:24Alright, so then we got Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2.
19:34Can't go wrong with Mega Man X.
19:38I think the X series was always my favorite.
19:40Not to say I didn't enjoy the original.
19:50Oh yeah, that's a pretty sweet collection for sure, man.
19:57Alright, so then of course, Killer Instinct Definitive Edition.
20:02One of the main reasons I really wanted an Xbox One in the first place.
20:07Had to get it, man.
20:14But yeah, I love the guest characters, the Battletoads that are in there.
20:18I think it's Rash?
20:19I think it's Rash who's in there.
20:20Oh yeah, and the Covenant from freaking Years of War.
20:28Or no, no, Halo, Halo.
20:35But yeah, not bad.
20:36Not a bad sequel.
20:38Pretty awesome.
20:41Alright.
20:43And speaking of another reason I wanted an Xbox One.
20:47The Rare Replay Collected.
20:51Yeah, I was so happy to get this one, man.
20:55Well, it's kind of cool the fact that they included like the 64 versions of Conker's Bad Fur Day.
21:02What was it? Blast Core?
21:04Yeah, I think that was only a Nintendo 64 exclusive.
21:09Now that I think about it.
21:14And then of course they got the Banjo-Kazooie 1 and 2.
21:17Or, yeah.
21:20Kazooie, 2E, and then Nuts and Bolts that no one speaks of.
21:29But yeah, pretty solid compilation, man.
21:32I'm pretty happy with this one.
21:34I was even surprised to see Jeff or Shemini in that one.
21:38So, yeah.
21:40Alright, and the final game.
21:43Dead Rising 3.
21:51So I did finish this game.
21:53I was so happy when I unlocked the Mega Man X costume.
21:57But of course, they're like, oh, you gotta play through this to unlock his Buster Cannon.
22:04I'm like, oh my god.
22:06So I'm trying to like beat the nightmare mode.
22:10I think you have to do it in under, I don't know, what?
22:13Two, three hours, something like that.
22:14Or something like that.
22:18But yeah, I was like, damn it, dude.
22:20They screw you.
22:21Like, oh, nope, you only get one part.
22:23But hey, at least it's not like DLC where you're like, oh, you only get this half.
22:29Like, you'll unlock the first half, but we'll charge you for the second.
22:31But no.
22:32At least in this one, you can actually unlock the other part.
22:35Because I think it was the same way in the first Dead Rising game.
22:39Where you unlock the original Mega Man outfit.
22:42But then you'd have to like play through it again and do some certain requirements to get the Buster Cannon.
22:50But yeah.
22:53Alrighty, folks.
22:55So that concludes my little pile of Xbox One games.
23:02Well, I might as well show these because, you know, don't own a 360, but I got two 360 games that are backwards compatible on Xbox One.
23:12So, yeah.
23:14So I also did get Gears 3 from Retro City Games for like five bucks.
23:22And then, you know, you have the remaster of the first game.
23:26So all I need is two.
23:27All I need is two.
23:30Yeah, I'm not sure if they came out with a collection on Xbox One that had all three games.
23:36Yeah.
23:37Could be wrong.
23:38Might have to check into that one.
23:40But for this Xbox 360 exclusive, I was really happy.
23:43And that's the uncensored version of Ninja Gaiden 2.
23:50Like, oh my god.
23:51I was so happy when this was on the list of backwards compatible games on 360.
23:58Or on Xbox One.
23:59Because I actually got the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on PS3.
24:06And for some stupid reason, that one was censored.
24:09I'm like, why?
24:11Why would you censor this amazing game, dude?
24:15It's like the sheer brutality of, like, Ninja Warfare.
24:19Shouldn't be censored at all.
24:21Not with those stupid, lame-ass blue flames that come out of their neck.
24:26Oh, might as well put rainbows and shit, too.
24:30Like, that...
24:31I don't know.
24:32It was the stupidest decision they ever made.
24:34I'm like, PlayStation's always been edgy, man.
24:37I mean, for a Nintendo console, I'll be like, okay.
24:40It is what it is.
24:43But yeah.
24:45So that's the only reason I included, like, these two 360 games.
24:48Because I don't own a 360.
24:50And I only got these for Xbox One, you know, compatibility.
24:54Like, backwards compatibility.
24:56So...
24:58Okay.
25:01I'd say that about covers it, folks.
25:04So, I think, next collection video, I might do PS4.
25:09Because that one's not as big as my original Xbox.
25:12Like, holy crap, dude.
25:13When you guys see my original Xbox collection,
25:15you're gonna be like, holy shit, man.
25:18That's a lot of games.
25:23Okay.
25:24Alright.
25:25Now we're gonna call it quits.
25:26So, thank you all for watching.
25:27Love, peace, chicken, groove.
