00:00Hello and welcome to this Western Australian Janesweather update for Monday.
00:04We have got all of this cold speckled cloud over the southwest in through there,
00:08not really extending much farther inland.
00:11A band of very light and patchy rain that's moving through there
00:14that is going to head into the east.
00:16But this is what we're looking at during the day today.
00:18Heading for the southwest, lots of cold air still to come
00:21and the next weather system is down around in through here.
00:24That is due on Wednesday.
00:26So this is where we're sitting for today.
00:27What is left? We've got this coming in through here.
00:30We've got this mainly along that southern coastline.
00:32So it's a coastal affair at this stage, really not extending much further inland now.
00:38So that's what was left over from the weekend.
00:40There we have Monday into Tuesday, not much at all.
00:43There is a ridge of high pressure that is running in through here.
00:45So it's really just in that southwest corner and on that south coast.
00:49So that's Tuesday. Let's now head into Wednesday and it increases.
00:52So here we have seeing right through into here.
00:55We've got a cold outbreak by here by the end of the day.
00:58It's not as big or as strong as the other ones that we have seen.
01:0210 to 15 millimetres is probably the best that we can do out of that.
01:05Locally heavier falls if you're underneath a particularly strong shower as it comes in.
01:09But even the winds aren't as extreme as what we have seen.
01:12The damaging wind warning eased overnight.
01:14So did the coastal inundation as well.
01:16So we're now in smooth sailing or smoother sailing.
01:19This one's coming through on Wednesday into Thursday.
01:22Hardly anything left.
01:23Here's the next high pressure system.
01:24By Friday, the high is still back over to the west.
01:27But it is extending a ridge that is right in through here.
01:30By Saturday, here is our high right in through here.
01:34Already getting a little bit of a kink in the isobars.
01:36So that means we're into northeasterly winds and things can warm up.
01:40So that was Saturday, Sunday and next Monday.
01:43So what does all of that add up to?
01:45Let's have a look here.
01:4615 to 25.
01:47The same there.
01:4810 to 15.
01:49So there's nothing really majorly strong coming through this week.
01:53The next big wet weather day is likely to be Wednesday.
01:56What does all of this mean for Perth?
01:57We've got showers passing through up to a millimetre left.
02:00About 16.
02:0118 tomorrow.
02:03Showers passing through again.
02:04Not much activity.
02:05The next major day is on Wednesday.
02:0718.
02:08There could have a cool change.
02:099 millimetres is what is likely across the weather models there.
02:12By Thursday, it is pretty much dried up.
02:14There's hardly anything to finish the week.
02:16We've got some cloud that is lingering and some temperatures on the cool side.
02:20Now, on the cool side, when you see what's coming over the weekend, Saturday, Sunday and into Monday,
02:25yes, it's chilly start to that one, but they disappear as well.
02:29And we'll have some lovely northeasterly winds and the sunshine that goes with it, along with the warmth.
02:34As always, head to Farm Online Weather for the latest.
