00:00And we take a look at Texas A&M.
00:01They're undefeated coming in, but Notre Dame, they can't afford another loss.
00:04They're at home today as a six-and-a-half-point favorite against Texas A&M.
00:07What do you think about this one?
00:09Well, Notre Dame's had a week off.
00:11They lost a tough game to Miami, and they didn't do something against Miami
00:15that they should have done, run the ball.
00:17Jeremiah Love, 6.9 yards per game last year,
00:20one of the best, if not the best, running back in the country.
00:23Run the ball, run the ball, and play defense.
00:25If they'll do that, and I think they will.
00:28They've had a week off. They know what to do against a very good defense.
00:32They're going to win this football game.
00:34Now, I love it that I can take those points in A&M, but I think Notre Dame won.
00:38I think they win this game, and they must.
00:41And when they do, they must, because that's the only way they're going to get
00:43to the college football playoff is to not have two opening losses.
00:46They'll win this game by not six-and-a-half.
00:48They'll win it by a field goal or so, and they will run the table
00:52from that point forward and make the playoffs.
00:54Coach, when we look at the Texas A&M side,
00:57Marcel Reed's playing very well, seven touchdowns, no interceptions.
01:01He's a mobile quarterback.
01:03Would you utilize more of his athleticism against an athletic front seven
01:07in Notre Dame, or do you want to see Marcel Reed attack that secondary
01:11over the top tonight?
01:13You know, with what I saw mostly of Notre Dame throughout last season
01:17and the opening game, he's got to do both.
01:20He's got to use his dual threat abilities.
01:22They can't say, okay, we're just going to pass it,
01:24or, okay, we're just going to run it.
01:27It's not just that they run.
01:28This is the same thing for Notre Dame.
01:30Not just that they run the ball, but they run it successfully,
01:33four to five yards a carry.
01:35Any two-yard gains over and over again is just going to get you
01:38in bad passing situations.
01:40Marcel Reed needs to run and throw the ball well for them to have a chance
01:44to go into a touchdown Jesus and win that game,
01:47because he's looking over that Notre Dame team.
01:49Yeah, I'm excited to watch that game and see how it plays out.
01:50A big game for Notre Dame will see CJ Carr in his second start here of the season
01:54if he can rebound and pick up a victory here.
01:56Coach, let's head down to the ACC.
01:59Clemson and Georgia Tech, you see the opening number right around 10 points here.
02:02That shrunk a lot because of the question marks coming up here
02:04on Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King.
02:06Let me ask you two questions.
02:07Number one, who do you like in this game?
02:08But number two, as a coach, how did you prepare for a team
02:11where you weren't sure who that quarterback was
02:13and how your work week went?
02:15Well, I prepare for the best quarterback to play the entire game.
02:19That's what I prepare for.
02:21I make sure I watch the video.
02:22They had plenty of video of the backup quarterback last week
02:25because Haynes King did not play last week.
02:28But they're not going to win.
02:29Georgia Tech, I've got them winning this game outright.
02:31The way they're playing.
02:33And the question marks Clemson has presented,
02:35regression of Kublik-Kublik this year,
02:39the inability to run the football, they've had that problem.
02:42But the way Georgia Tech has played, the confidence they have,
02:46the confidence their head coach brings them,
02:48if Haynes King is healthy, and my indications are that he is,
02:52they'll win this game outright.
02:53When you talk about Klublik, again,
02:55they're only averaging around 210 passing yards per game
02:59through back-to-back weeks against a very good LSU team in week one.
03:03And then Troy, what have you seen out of Klublik
03:06that he really needs to clean up in this matchup against Georgia Tech?
03:10Just his consistency.
03:12When hitting open people and making good decisions,
03:15now I'm going to say this, when Clemson continues to not run the ball well
03:19in big games, they don't run the ball in big games.
03:23It puts the quarterback into a lot of second-long and third-long.
03:27And all of a sudden, his decisions become poor.
03:29His precision becomes poor.
03:31Difficult throws.
03:32So they need to help him out by running the football.
03:36He just needs to keep his head in the game,
03:37understand that how he plays.
03:39And Dabos, when he said this, he's their best player.
03:43He's got to play his best football.
03:45Coach, let's keep it quick here.
03:46Florida and LSU tonight, a lot on the line for Billy Napier here.
03:49Big game for LSU to sort of thrust themselves into that top five
03:52and stay on top of the college football landscape.
03:54What are you getting out of that game tonight?
03:56Well, I think me and Joe would disagree on this one.
03:58He thinks it'll blow out.
03:59I think it is going to be an LSU win.
04:01But I think Florida comes –
04:03I think LSU wins because I've got them playing.
04:07But Florida will play a much better game.
04:09They will respond for their difficult loss they had last week.
04:13They beat LSU last year, but they're not going to win this game.
04:16But they will take them and the points.
