00:07We're running an Operation Steel today in Sheffield City Centre and as I speak it's been running for 90 minutes
00:12and we've made seven arrests for various offences such as prison recall, failed to appear and drug offences.
00:19It's a plain cloak operation today in Sheffield City Centre so officers are patrolling.
00:23You might not see them but they are dealing with the issues that might be people in Sheffield City Centre.
00:28Operation Steel is an ongoing operation that runs across Sheffield and each neighbourhood area does run one
00:34and this today is the Sheffield City Centre one.
00:37We'll be using officers from other neighbourhood areas, specialist units to enhance our day-to-day work in City Centre.
00:43So this is basically what we do every single day but we've enhanced it and utilise more officers from across Sheffield and South Yorkshire Police.
