02:07This added a brand new creator to the Fortnite Icon series, sort of.
02:11As in case you didn't know, one week ago,
02:13Epic Games posted this over on their official TikTok account,
02:16basically depicting a bunch of drawings of popular Fortnite characters,
02:19as well as a new character that we had never seen anywhere before.
02:23Alongside this caption, saying,
02:25an artist called David is releasing a Fortnite anthem on September 3rd.
02:28Now on September 3rd, this thing finally released.
02:31And at one point in the animation for the song,
02:33it was actually teasing a David Icon series skin,
02:35to go along with the David Icon emote we already have here in Fortnite.
02:39But just this morning, the darkest twists imaginable happened.
02:42As David's car was actually towed and impounded in Los Angeles,
02:45basically meaning he parked somewhere illegal.
02:47Well, after sitting for a few days,
02:49it ended up getting searched.
02:51And well, let's just say,
02:52Fortnite doesn't want anything to do with this artist anymore.
02:55I'm really hoping they give typical gamer an Icon skin instead,
02:58because I can't think of anyone in the entire world that deserves it more.
03:01Far and away, the best thing added in this update
03:03was the brand new Power Rangers mythic item.
03:05Which we're just about to get to,
03:06but first, Epic Games have officially begun teasing the next season of Fortnite,
03:10which as we all know is going to be a Simpsons mini-season,
03:13similar to the Star Wars mini-season earlier in Chapter 6,
03:16which Epic Games actually started teasing a few months ago,
03:18with the addition of this poster at Utopia City depicting the iconic Simpsons donut.
03:23Just this weekend, they began teasing it in the biggest way so far.
03:27Because in case you didn't know, a few days ago,
03:28the FNCS Global Championship Tournament took place in France.
03:32Every time one of these events goes down,
03:34Epic Games always has a creator lounge,
03:36basically just being an area where popular creators can hang out.
03:39On day one, they brought out a tray of donuts.
03:41On it was a donut looking eerily similar to the Simpsons donut,
03:45which we all assumed was just a coincidence.
03:46Then on day two, they brought out even more donuts.
03:49This time, all the other donuts were missing,
03:51and it was just the donut with the sprinkles.
03:53One creator even said an Epic employee winked at them when bringing the tray in.
03:57We all got incredibly excited when Epic revealed
03:59they had a bunch of big announcements prepared for after the tournament,
04:02which we all thought was finally going to be the Simpsons announcement we've been waiting for,
04:06but it ended up being a bunch of competitive tournaments.
04:08But regardless, the donuts were 100% Epic Games teasing the Simpsons season,
04:12and having some fun trolling us.
04:14The new update added one of the most important things for the Fortnite storyline in a very long time.
04:18And it all starts off right over here at the main location of last season,
04:21known as Supernova Academy.
04:23Now, as you can see, it doesn't really appear anything all that important changed at this location.
04:28That is in fact the case.
04:30Instead, it's something even more important.
04:32As we all know, if you make your way down to the basement where the rank vaults used to be located,
04:36you're able to find the main protagonist of the chapter, Shadow Blade Hope,
04:39ever since her sister, Valeria, opened up Pandora's box in Chapter 5,
04:43has continually been shown visions of the future,
04:45and she often then paints around the island.
04:48We saw it with not just the Fortress of Solitude last season,
04:50but also the tentacle from the Kraken live event as well.

05:03Anyways, when the season first released,
05:05this vision painting right here caught all of our attention.
05:08Basically, depicting a queen bug with some mysterious golden eggs underneath it.
05:12In the video last week, I said these eggs were actually the thing responsible
05:15for bringing the roly-polies into the game.
05:17They basically look to just be a baby version of the queen bugs.
05:20But I was wrong, and the real answer is way, way more important.
05:24And it all starts off over here at the Dystopian City location.
05:27It's here about 50% of the time,
05:28you're able to find the queen bug boss from Demon's Debris,
05:31and now another vision painting from Hope has appeared here.
05:33Once again, depicting the mysterious golden eggs.
05:36We have very good reason to believe these eggs are actually tied to the bird gas station.
05:40Which, as we all know, the bird mascot itself was taken by the bug army
05:43and made it into a shrine where they appear to be worshipping it.
05:46And all throughout Chapter 6, we've been able to find a bunch of these bird advertisements,
05:50literally depicting a golden egg,
05:52as well as before Utopia City became Dystopian City.
05:55We were actually able to find a cracked egg hanging from one of the buildings.
05:58The leading theory here is the massive queen bug that appeared at the end of this season's trailer.
06:02It wasn't actually any of the queen bugs currently on the island,
06:05but instead a new, even more powerful version.
06:07It's likely somehow tied to the bird company.
06:10The best part of the brand new update is the new mythic weapon.
06:13Here we go, dropping it into a game where we're gonna get our hands on this bad boy for the very first time.
06:17The weapon I'm talking about is obviously the Power Rangers Blaster Blade.
06:21Essentially, being the main weapons the Power Rangers use in the series,
06:24we saw a tease, not just in this season's blog post,
06:27where it was revealed that you can actually charge up the weapon for a powerful blast,
06:30there was also teased in this season's trailer,
06:33where we got to see a super short clip of it in action.
06:35Bad news is, it's not actually gotten by defeating any one of the queen bug bosses,
06:40which is the easiest way of acquiring mythics here in season 4,
06:43but instead gotten the more difficult way,
06:45by leveling up to OXR rank S+,
06:47opening the drop pod that guarantees a mythic weapon,
06:50so we need to level up our OXR rank as quick as possible.
06:53Obviously, the easiest way of doing that is by defeating the queen bug bosses.
