Australia's climate record has come under scrutiny at the Pacific Leaders' Forum in Solomon Islands ahead of the government's final decision on whether to approve a massive gas project in Western Australia.

01:28it would hurt key trading partners, damage the economy and destroy domestic political support
01:34for the energy transition Australia's undertaking right now.
01:38Some Pacific leaders say they understand, others are utterly unconvinced.
01:44Even in matching shirts, it's not all smooth sailing.
