00:32Higher education institutions have a critical role to play.
00:36Sustainability must be reflected not only in how we manage our institutions,
00:43but also in the research we prioritize and in the way we connect with our communities.
00:50Graduate must be shaped by the challenges of the world, not sheltered from them.
00:58Learning must now include real-world exposure.
01:03Project work, field placements, volunteers' initiative, global mobility and micro-credentials
01:11all have shaped a more complete educational experience.
01:16These priorities, namely AI, sustainability and curriculum transformation, are firmly rooted in the Malaysian High Education Group from 2035-2035.
01:30To all our educators, administrators, researchers and students, I encourage you to lean with courage.
01:40I would also like to highlight an important development.
01:46Taylor University has been awarded self-accreditation status by the Malaysian Qualification Group.
01:58I hope this status empowers the university to manage the accreditation of the academic programs independently.
02:06Programs that require professional certification will continue to follow their respective regulatory pathway.
02:16This recognition follows a rigorous institutional audit process under MQA, Code of Practice for Institutional Audit.
