00:07Congratulations on your Mercury Prize nomination. What do you make of the rest of the shortlist?
00:12Yeah, dead stoked for everyone. It's so nice to be amongst so many fantastic records.
00:20There are a couple on there that I was like, yeah, I think that will be shortlisted.
00:25A couple that were surprises to me and yeah, a good mate from college as well on there as well, which is amazing.
00:31And representing the North up there with Pulp.

00:37So, album Weirdo. What does the term Weirdo mean to you?
00:41I'm just a little weirdo, you know. I've always been a weirdo my entire life.
00:45And yeah, the seed of the record was about accepting and celebrating my neurodiversity.
00:52And then, of course, it became about something else and it evolved.
00:55But the very first seed of it was about me being a little weirdo.
00:58And what would your advice be to people with neurodiversity looking to navigate the music industry?
01:05Be yourself. Throw yourself into the music. That's the most important thing.
01:10And the music will take care of you.
01:13Amazing. And if you were to place a bet, if you were a betting woman, who would your money be on to win?
01:18I'm betting on myself. I'm literally going to the bookies in about five minutes.
01:22And what are you going to do with the prize money if you win?
01:25Buy a gold toilet.
01:27Oh.
01:29But then would you need the rest of the accessories? Do you need a gold bath, gold shower, gold soap?
01:34No, I'm fine with just the gold toilet. Just the gold toilet is fine.
01:38I don't know. I hadn't even thought about that.
01:41Actually, I actually forgot that that was part of everything.
