The KL High Court granted an interim prohibitory injunction to stop Telegram, including administrators of the Telegram accounts Edisi Siasat and Edisi Khas, from publishing, distributing, or rebroadcasting disputed content as outlined in the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)'s legal claims.

This was confirmed by MCMC's counsel Datuk Sankara Narayan Nair after the proceedings held in chambers
on Thursday (Sept 11).
