00:21You know, they're not prescription and I need a prescription. So, you know, they might look cool for a minute, but then I run into a wall or something.
00:27All right. So a little bit about me. I was a mobile DJ for 25 years. I like every kind of music. I mean, literally, I'll find something good in any genre.
00:38Been interested in music, loved music my whole life. This channel started because I saw the Taylor Swift Airs tour, the movie. I didn't go to the actual concert, of course.
00:48And I'd heard some Taylor Swift over the, you know, the radio or the TV or whatever you just pick up, you know, from pop culture.
00:55But I'd never actually listened to an entire Taylor Swift album.
00:59I picked up a couple of her albums, happened to get Folklore and Evermore. Those blew me away.
01:06I decided to make a video review of those. And then I started to review other albums.
01:12People who saw those reviews suggested things to me. So I've got some Prince review.
01:19The Morrissey review was something somebody a friend suggested.
01:23On The Darren Show, you're going to get album reviews, not just Taylor Swift. A little bit of everything.
01:27Stuff from the past. Stuff, new stuff. Stuff that I haven't heard. Stuff that you asked me to review.
01:34And also we're going to have some original songs. I play guitar, drums, piano. I like to play. Doesn't mean I'm any good.
01:42But I do like to play and I write songs. So watch for some original songs and some cover songs.
01:48And we'll just see what we can do here. I think I've said and, uh, about 7,000 times.
