00:17state. The Bureau of Meteorology has confirmed that two tornadoes were observed in the southwest
00:22slopes on Wednesday afternoon, September 10. One tornado was spotted northwest of Yonge
00:28and the other near Carragher Bull. No significant damage was reported. The Rural Fire Service fire
00:34tower cameras captured the tornado building to the northwest of Yonge around Tubal. Heavy rain led
00:40to a surge of calls for assistance overnight, with the state emergency service receiving more than
00:45850 calls. An alert for damaging winds with peak gusts of around 90 km per hour is expected over
00:52parts of the Hunter, Mid-North Coast and Northern Tablelands on Thursday, September 11.
