00:00Since Patrick Mahomes won in 2018, a receiver or running back has taken home the past six
00:04Offensive Player of the Year awards.
00:07Who won it last year?
00:08Saquon, I assume?
00:09Won what?
00:10The Offensive Player of the Year.
00:11I feel like it had to be Saquon, if not Jamar Chase, one of those two.
00:16But league personnel find themselves wanting to find a spot for Daniels when it comes to
00:20individual accolades.
00:22Some are hesitant to put him firmly in the MVP market, which Allen, Jackson, and Mahomes
00:27have cornered since 2022.
00:30But an important criterion for such voting is how a player elevates his team and instills
00:34belief.
00:35Not many are doing that like Daniels of late.
00:38See, I have like a great issue with that thought process.
00:43I'm with that.
00:44Like, oh, well, we want to give him an award, but he can't be MVP.
00:47These other guys got to be MVP.
00:48But this is the question, okay?
00:51I would love to ask some of these idiots straight up.
00:54Why the hell can't he get an MVP?
00:55If he plays better than everybody else in that year, he should be MVP.
01:02Why do you have to make up something else to say, oh, we're not?
01:05Because you only feel only certain quarterbacks you think are supposed to win it?
01:08Or you are worried about, oh, he's not old enough.
01:11No, no, no.
01:12The MVP has nothing to do with status.
01:15It has something to do with who plays the best that year.
01:17That doesn't solve the damn problem.
01:22That makes the problem more, makes it worse.
