00:00Hello Koi and welcome to LivingCubes. Welcome to a new bar, a new asset, a new beverage table if you want it.
00:08I'm using a new website if you're interested. It's brand new. It's brand new to me. I like it.
00:14It's called qrcode.co.uk. It's a website. I was looking for a website where I could create 3D, not 3D, but well it is 3D.
00:26A 3D, basically, a barcode. I'm thinking, can I use the barcode to represent my cupboard? I'm thinking, great.
00:36Now this website is actually, believe it or not, I went through about 150 websites and I found this one.
00:42I'm thinking, great. I put the model name of the model into the website.
00:48All you do is copy the name of the model into this website. If you want to do this, I'm not telling anybody to go nowhere.
00:54It's absolutely free of charge. But of course, like all websites, if you want to sign up, you can.
01:00You don't have to sign up in order to use it. The website itself allows you to add your website, your web links, your items.
01:11You're going to basically type the name in. So let's say you had a kitchen cupboard, you would type in kitchen cupboard.
01:16And of course, the link to where it's going to, whether it's your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest or TikTok or wherever it is, wherever you're going.
01:26So wherever the object is, down here, just basically copy the link, paste it on this website and type the website to generate the image.
01:36And the website gives you something that looks like that, I'm thinking.
01:40So to the QR code.co.uk, I'm going to say thanks very much for the opportunity for having a barcode.
01:48As I said, I don't really know anyone who clicks barcodes. Not really.
01:53But I'm thinking, okay, I'm going to bring it in now. If you look in here, you see there's like a little mist on the actual barcode itself.
01:59Look, you have to bring it out of the mist. So you can do this. If you bring it out of the mist, basically, and you can't a half turn it.
02:08You can kind of scan that with your camera. And if you were to do that, I'm not telling you to do that.
02:13I'm saying if you want to scan it, it's absolutely warranted for your charge.
02:17You'll get the model download. But because this model is a Glyph folder, I'll show you.
02:24If you go here, save it as. It's a standard window Glyph folder. You can load it directly into Blender.
02:31So if you scan it with your mobile phone, it's not going to work on your phone.
02:35But it's going to work if you transfer it back over to your computer. It's going to work absolutely perfectly great.
02:41If you want to scan it, you can scan it. If you don't want to scan it, you can click the link under the video and you'll get the download.
02:48So why would I want that? Well, the reason why you want that is because I'm going to show you.
02:53At the moment, as you know, I'm making a game called Red Vandali.
02:57And I'm making all of the content, all of the assets free of charge.
03:01And I'm using some of the assets out of Blender, out of Unreal Engine, CryEngine, and so forth.
03:08So that's what I'm doing. As I said, at the moment, I'm using Unreal Engine content.
03:12Not all of it, but I'm using some of it.
03:14So I customised with Ben and shape some of the content.
03:18Because some of it, even though it's absolutely, perfectly, fantastically great, which it is.
03:23Some of the textures on it, some of the textures are way, way, way, way too big for me.
03:29I think, you know, I want to drop down the quality, so it's not this kind of quality.
03:34I think when you're in the game world, that looks perfectly fine in the game world.
03:37Unless, of course, you're really lucky to have a really super fantastic computer.
03:42And then maybe it looks really, really, really, really bad.
03:45But, yeah, I've got a low-end computer, so I'm using low-end assets.
03:51Anyway, you will see Red Vandali come to life.
03:54Hopefully, not in the too distant future.
03:57So, let's take a look at this with Emma.
03:59Now, I'll bring in Emery, which is age 12.
04:01Don't forget, when she comes here, she's only age 1.
04:05Okay, so I'm going to show you age 12, just so you get the idea.
04:07So you come along, because it's a bar.
04:10If I bring Emery in age 1, she's only about there.
04:13So, I'll bring her in age 12, and she's going to show you the great escape from the bar.
04:18So, here we go.
04:20So, I'll go next.
04:21And here's Emma.
04:23So, Emma, are you really breaking that cupboard?
04:27Now, on these pieces of wood here, they're not on here, but they are on there,
04:32are the studs for the cupboard, just to let you know that.
04:36So, she comes along.
04:38Obviously, this is an animated scene.
04:40So, she comes in the room, then she kind of grabs the wood.
04:43She kind of grabs it and throws it over here.
04:45Because she likes to make a mess.
04:47Because she likes me to clean it up after her.
04:49I think it's great.
04:50In your case, it's going to be you who cleans up the mess.
04:54So, she goes to the cupboard, she pulls the wood up, throw it on the floor.
04:57I'm just showing you how everything basically comes apart.
05:00And I'll explain the character in a moment.
05:02We go to the next scene, and she starts to crawl through.
05:05I says, Emma, don't go behind the cupboard, girl.
05:08So, she goes here.
05:10And, of course, now she's actually ignoring me, and she's climbing through the cupboard.
05:16I think, Emma, really?
05:18I think, okay, we need to go back to the first beginning, because, obviously, I need to explain to you.
05:22Now, Emma, believe it or not, she was made in a software called MakeHuman.
05:28So, the entire character, the whole entire character, was made in a software called MakeHuman.
05:33Now, I tell you that, because she started off life, originally, with just measurements out of Google.
05:39I went on Google one day, and I typed in, what's the average height of a one-year-old?
05:44And I'm thinking, great, don't matter to buy, girl, doesn't really matter.
05:47Anyway, I typed in the measurements, just because I do, just because I did.
05:51Because I'm bored one day.
05:53And, anyway, I got the measurements.
05:55I took the measurements, only the measurements.
05:58I went to MakeHuman, which I really like the software.
06:01I typed in the measurements for a height, the size of her arm, the size of her leg, the size of her feet.
06:07And, basically, things like that.
06:09So, I typed in the measurements, and when I press Generate, inside, I'll MakeHuman.
06:13And, it gives me a character that looks like her.
06:15I think, Emma, you look absolutely great, girl.
06:18Yeah.
06:19So, I'm going to say, to MakeHuman, thanks very much for the opportunity, again.
06:23For creating such a fantastically great model.
06:26And, what I like about MakeHuman is the only software on the planet that I know that you can change, like, the age group of your character.
06:35Like, age one, two, three, four, and so forth.
06:38But, anyway, I don't know any other software out there that gives you that opportunity, or that kind of control, over your character.
06:46Most animation software, or 3D models, are mannequin softwares.
06:53You can normally bring a character and stick her in there, and, obviously, whatever she is, that's what she is, or that's what he is, or that's what it is.
07:01I think, yeah, it's nice to have a little bit of control over the model, you know.
07:05Anyway, to MakeHuman, I want to say, thanks very much for the software.
07:09I appreciate it.
07:10And, again, to a QR code to co.uk, I want to say, absolutely, fantastic, great.
07:18So, yeah.
07:19Anyway, this is the barcode.
07:20If you want to scan it, scan it.
07:22And, if you don't want to scan it, you can always, basically, click the link on the video.
07:26It's 110% free.
07:28No books, no viruses, no children, no spyware, no malware.
07:31Just absolutely good, honest, true links.
07:34If you want it, click it, download it, take a look at it.
07:37If you want to keep it, keep the model, scrap the barcode, scrap the name, and then just keep that, and put it in the game.
07:44You can put it in CryEngine, or RealEngine, Unity, it's up to you, you can put it wherever you want.
07:49Just put it back in Blender, and export it to exactly what you want.
07:54If you want an OBJ, export it as that.
07:56If you want an FBX, most game engines support FBX.
08:00I really, honestly, truly, don't like FBX.
08:04They crash too much.
08:05So, I'm using the new Windows file format, which, as I told you, it's here.
08:12So, you can save it as.
08:14And, Microsoft only gives you one option.
08:17Great.
08:18I'm thinking, okay, so, you've only got this option.
08:21So, I think, okay, that might be the option, the only option in the future.
08:26I'm thinking, great.
08:27I'm going to convert all my models over to that file format, and I'm going to start using that.
08:32Myself, personally, I'd like to use Collada, and OBJ.
08:36But, yeah, not many support, not many software support Collada.
08:40But, yeah, I think Collada's absolutely, fantastically great too.
08:45So, anyway, to everybody out there, I will say thanks very much.
08:47I really hope you like the content, and I really hope that you click the download.
08:51Don't forget to subscribe.
08:52I need subscribers.
08:53Stay safe.
08:54See you soon.
08:55Bye.
08:56Bye.
08:58Bye.
