Nepal’s political crisis has exploded into violence as Finance Minister Vishnu Prasad Paudel was physically attacked by protesters in Kathmandu. Eyewitnesses report he was beaten, chased, and forced to flee as demonstrations spiraled out of control.

This comes just hours after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned and fled Nepal, followed by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak’s resignation, leaving the Himalayan nation in a power vacuum. At least 14 people are confirmed dead as riot police clashed with tens of thousands of protesters, deploying tear gas, rubber bullets, and water cannons.

The unrest began after the government banned major social media platforms like Facebook, X, and YouTube, triggering outrage over censorship and free speech. While the government claims the move targeted fake accounts and hate speech, rights groups call it a tool to silence dissent.

00:23of Nepal that we are planning to build a better Nepal we ourselves have to retreat we ourselves
00:29have to understand that what we are building should not be built on bloods and tears there
00:35should not be any civilian casualties irrespective of the fact that those who were in the power has
00:40corrupt were corrupt we're doing atrocity it was it was a dictatorship but irrespective of the fact
00:48on a greater on a larger scale on a greater level they are human as well and we do we are not

01:00i know this this seems very when the bloods are boiling i know this is not something that i should
01:06be advocating because everyone is very frustrated and everyone wants their raise out but on the deeper
01:13level on the larger level we are humans and we cannot go as below as them so that's why we should
01:19not be opting for violence we should retreat back because what we wanted we have achieved we are
01:24proud of ourselves we should build our nation on peace and peace and private irrespective of
01:29everything because that's what makes us the bigger person we did this protest for a bigger greater happier
01:35nation and to build that first and foremost we should retreat from violence and we really hope
