00:00Now as the Premier League nears its restart, let's take a look closer at how Arsenal, Tottenham
00:08and Chelsea have started their campaigns. Arsenal began with real intent, growing out
00:13a 1-0 win at Old Trafford, sealed by Ricardo Calafiore's header, before dismantling Leeds
00:18United in a 5-0 route that showed Case Summer signing Victor Jokeres. But just before the
00:24break, their momentum stalled at Anfield. Locked in a tense contest, Arsenal held firm
00:31until the 83rd minute when Dominic Shabotlai's free kick snatched the points for the champions.
00:37It was a painful reminder that fine margins often decide clashes at the very top, though
00:42Arteta's side have shown resilience and attacking edge in their opening weeks.
00:47Martin Odegaard was injured, Kai cannot play, Merino is a player that is incredible arriving
00:54from there. We played with three attacking players, two attacking full-backs. After the
00:59game, I think it's too easy to say that. Because this is Anfield, and at some point it's going
01:04to change. You cannot dominate Anfield for 95 minutes, and it changed from various ways,
01:08especially because we made the right decision when our keeper got the ball in their hands,
01:12so we started to rush it. The turnovers, we didn't manage them so well, so we could never
01:17glide as a team, and they're going to create those moments without really creating any situations
01:22of danger.
01:26Tottenham under Thomas Frank have produced a mixed bag. They opened brightly with a 3-0 home
01:31win over Burnley, looking sharp and clinical. It's a surprise 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth, quickly
01:37exposed areas needing work, highlighting the need for consistency, whilst Thomas Frank believes
01:44the fans were right to boo the team following the lacklustre performance.
01:49We didn't handle it well. We knew exactly what they came with, and we trained for it, we just
01:55didn't handle it well enough in terms of the balls behind in the second ball game and the
02:00duels in the middle of the park. And then I think that's the defensive side of them. On the
02:04defensive side, we struggled to find good enough solution to, how can you say, get through phase
02:15one and two, so we could get up there and then put a bit of pressure on them. We only did
02:19that in the last 15, where we put good pressure and we could have equalised, but I think over
02:25the game it was fair that Bournemouth won.
02:28And all kinds of footballers you need to be able to perform against. And today we struggled
02:34with it. I prefer them not to boo, but I understand it was not a good performance today and they
02:42have high expectations, which is absolutely fair. And I think, let's say we performed even
02:49better and you can still lose a football match today. I don't think we hit the level we should.
02:52But I think the players gave everything and then that's the foundation and put the heart
02:57out there. But football-wise, we didn't hit a top level today.
03:02Chelsea, meanwhile, have begun to click under Enzo Mareska. A goalless draw with Crystal Palace
03:08was frustrating, but they responded in style with a 5-1 thrashing of West Ham, showcasing
03:14attacking depth and growing confidence. Mareska is so far pleased with their unbeaten start
03:21to the season.
03:22When one of them is injured for different weeks, probably it's not enough. Today we play
03:30more than one hour with Tariq that he did brilliant. The last game he played as a nine was Man United
03:37at home last year. And again, we tried to use a different solution. If you remember last
03:43year, we used Pedro in some games as a nine. It's because we are always looking for solution,
03:48but for sure when you have two proper nine, it's enough. I'm very happy. First of all,
03:54as you said, because three games, seven points, it's important. I'm very happy in general.
04:00Today I was not happy after the first half. The reason why is because we didn't play on the
04:07ball in the way we prepared the game. And we were not good enough in second ball in duels.
04:12While second half, I think we were very good on the ball. And we were very, very good in
04:19second ball in duels. And I think we deserve to win the game. We dominated second half.
04:24And against this team, if you are not strong enough, you struggle.
04:29So Arsenal look strong despite a setback. Tottenham are finding their feet and Chelsea are beginning
04:36to build momentum. Three of our clubs from across the capital with plenty to prove in the weeks ahead.
04:43And we'll go ahead.
04:44And we'll do it again. We're going to have a setback.
04:49And then we'll start by looking forward in a little bit, but at the time, we'll move
04:56ahead.
04:57So we'll move on to this side, which is you want to know that,
05:01that you would have to be able to do it again.
05:04And that's all right.
05:05That comes to your head.
05:06That's the idea.
05:07And that's the idea.
05:08Well, we're very, very, very high and easy.
