00:06Those people who were protesting on Saturday were protesting at the horror of the genocide in Gaza
00:12and British complicity of it with arms sales and military cooperation and support.
00:17They are deeply concerned about civil liberties in our society
00:21and feel that the legislation rushed through this Parliament
00:25actually damages their right to civil, peaceful protest within our society.
00:30The Minister knows that the weight of history is against him.
00:34He knows that at some point the Government is going to have to review this legislation
00:38otherwise this situation will simply get worse and worse.
00:41Can he not just bring himself to say now they are going to look at it again
00:45review the whole situation again and not prescribe peaceful protest within our society
00:50but accept we have a history behind us that brought us all here
00:55which is built on protest and dissent.
