Angry scenes in Commons as Farage is repeatedly interrupted during PMQs

Nigel Farage heckled and told to 'shut up' while asking a question at Prime Minister's Questions. Jeremy Corbyn and Zara Sultana were sat behind the leader of Reform UK in the House of Commons.

00:28voted for Brexit back in 2016,

00:32and that included millions

00:34of Labour supporters,

00:36is because we wanted to take back

00:38control of our borders

00:40so that we and we alone could decide

00:42who comes and settles

00:44in our country.

00:46Does the Prime Minister understand

00:48that that demand today is even greater than it was

00:50back in 2016,

00:52and that we demand,

00:54the country demands

00:56that you say to the French President...

01:00Don't be so disrespectful!

01:02You say to the French President,

01:04that we will not accept

01:06undocumented mails

01:08across the English Channel,

01:10and that you are not dictated to

01:12by an increasingly arrogant

01:14anti-Brexit French leader.

01:16Mr Speaker,

01:22we are fixing the mess that we inherited.

01:24We are working with other countries

01:26to ensure that we take the measures necessary

01:28to stop people crossing the Channel.

01:30They are serious answers to serious problems.

01:32His proposal for ten years,

01:34wagging the Tory dog,

01:36has been to break everything

01:38and claim that is how you fix things,

01:40to stick two fingers up at your neighbours

01:42and then expect them to work with us.

01:44He votes against the Borders Bill,

01:46which gives more powers to our law enforcement

01:48to deal with security at our borders.

01:50Mr Speaker, the reason for that is

01:52that he has no interest in fixing the problem,

01:54because he wants to milk it and exploit it.

01:56That is the truth about him and his party.
