00:00Week 3 de Liga Portugal est terminée, Podshines et Sporting complete la combattre en Madeira,
00:05Porto smash Casa P en style, while Braga et Famalicão stumble with their first draw points.
00:11This is Drone FC and here's the entire first matchday in just 6 minutes.
00:17To kick off the round, we had a premier Liga game broadcast on free-to-air TV for the first time
00:22in 13 years and as a sherry on top, it was a derby with a surprising result. After a well-fought
00:28first half but no goals, Alan Zingo took advantage of a defensive lapse from Vitoria and served
00:34Schettin on a plate for the opener. Barely 2 minutes later, Kiko Bondoso burst down the left
00:39and whipped in a perfect cross for Schettin to add home for 2-0. From there, Vitoria couldn't really
00:46create danger and Moreira unstealed the deserved win to remain unbeaten.
00:50Despite what the scoreline suggests, this game was far from easy for Sporting. Nacional struck first
00:57threw Leo Sanz just 3 minutes in and even managed to hold the lead until halftime. But Pablo Juan
01:02saw red before the break after a second yellow and that changed everything for the island side.
01:08In the second half, Pot stole the show. First in the 52nd minute, then again in the 76th.
01:14On minute 83, he even set up a goal for the much criticized ardor and deep into stoppage time,
01:20he still had time to complete his hat-trick. A 5-star performance from Pot, keeping Sporting top of
01:26the table before meeting Porto. Already with one eye on Fenerbahce, Benfica made plenty of changes to
01:33their starting level against Tondela but that didn't stop them from cruising to victory. The
01:38Eagles created chance after chance and finally broke through a minute 31 through Ivanovic. Just before
01:44halftime, Orsenas doubled the lead after a setup from Cielderup. In the second half, Benfica stayed
01:50in full control and right at the end, Prestiani put the cherry on top to seal a 3-0 win.
01:56This game proved without a shadow of a doubt that Portuguese football can be wildly entertaining.
02:016 goals, constant twists and turns. Fontane opened the scorey for the hosts after a Rio
02:06Ave defensive mistake but right after the break, Clayton Silva equalized. Spikic put the visitors in front
02:13with a cheeky lob over João Valido, only Fortreza to level things again with a header. The usual suspect,
02:20Clayton, struck once more to complete his brace and it looked all wrapped up. Until stoppage time
02:26when Naís Joarra rescued a dramatic draw for Arouca. In total contrast, this one had 0 goals.
02:34After 3 rounds, we finally got our first goalless draw. But the score doesn't tell the full story.
02:40Both sides had big chances but in the end, what remains is that Famalicão dropped their first
02:45points. Yet, they're still unbeaten at home in 2025 and haven't conceded a single goal in this league
02:51edition.
02:52Another Porto game, another statement performance. Without Samu and Pepe, De Jong and William Gomes
02:58stepped in and didn't disappoint. It only took 19 minutes for Borja Sainz to put the Dragons ahead.
03:05On minute 26, William Gomes doubled the lead with a brilliant solo run. And just before halftime,
03:10Alberto Costa pounced on a scramble in the box from a corner with Neuwen Pérez deflecting it for the
03:16third. The dominance carried into the second half and Borja Sainz took advantage of a massive error
03:21from duplex Xamba to seal a 4-0 win. Against all odds, a very limited AVS side nearly left the
03:29Pedreira with all three points. Braga started better and took the lead with a Zalazar penalty,
03:35but what came next? Not even the most pessimistic Braga fans could have imagined. In just 6 minutes,
03:41AVS turned the game around, first Rafael Barbosa, then Diego Duarte. From then on, AVS gave up possession,
03:49wasted time at every chance and Braga had no answers to break them down. Until finally, when hope was all
03:55but gone, Fran Navarro rose highest to rescue a point on a night to forget for the Arsenalistas.
04:03To wrap up the matchday, we had it all. Red cards, stunning goals that nearly brought the stadium
04:08down and even a referee substitution. Alverka started better in his all-out battle with a great finish
04:15from Nuozi. But in first half stoppage time, the game went to another level. First, Alverka stunned
04:22Estrella when Marese doubled the lead, but just before the break, Fabio Ronaldo pulled one back
04:27with a back-heel goal that took ages to be confirmed. In the second half, the game was wide open,
04:33but Estrella shot themselves in the foot with Balmureira's red card. However, less than 15 minutes
04:39later, both sides were down to 10 men as Navs was sent off for a second yellow. Shortly after,
04:45Kikas had a chance to put Estrella ahead from the spot but wasted it. Then, when nobody expected it,
04:50Lopes Cabral struck a fabulous free kick to level the match. Points shared in a spectacle that proved
04:55adrenaline is never lacking in Portuguese football. This week, the heir to the throne once again
05:02wears green and white. For me, king of the match they bought just delivered the best individual
05:08performance of the league so far. Three goals and one assist took Gary Sporting through what looked
05:13like a very tricky game. Now let's look at the league table. Sporting and Porto sit at the top
05:19before next Saturday's Clássico. Muradians are in third with the same points. Meanwhile,
05:24Benfica trailed Braga and Fomalicón by one point but with the game in hand. At the bottom,
05:29Tonel and Santa Clara remain on zero points, with Nacional just above them on one point in the playoff spot.
05:36To wrap things up, let's take a look at Jornada 4, which has everything to shake up the table.
05:42The clear highlight is o clássico between first and second place but there's plenty more to watch.
05:48Muradians and Benfica hit the road to Barcelos and Alverca looking to keep their perfect records intact.
05:54Meanwhile, Braga and Fomalicón face away trips where they simply must win to bounce back from
05:59these week's setbacks. That's all for today. Drop the usual like to show some love and subscribe

06:10Any surprises? Who will take the lead? Sporting, Porto or Muradians? Don't miss the next episode,
06:17because we won't either.
