The South Korean government announced Sunday that 300 workers detained after a massive immigration raid at the Hyundai plant in the United States will be released and brought home. On Friday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained 475 people, mostly South Koreans, during a raid on Hyundai's Georgia manufacturing site, as part of the ongoing anti-immigration policies by the administration of President Donald Trump.

00:47the United States for talks related to the workers' releases.
00:57As a result of the swift and united response by government ministries, economic organizations
01:05and companies, negotiations for the release of the detained workers have been concluded.
01:10Only administrative procedures remain, and as soon as these are completed, a chartered flight
01:16will depart to bring our citizens back. Our government will remain vigilant and respond responsibly
01:22until all our citizens are returned safely.
