01:42So, it was in 2017, the beginning of 2017, we launched the Live Room project.

09:28Dans une réalité cinématographique caractérisée par une production très difficile et sous l'appellation de Sigma 3,
09:35Hamid Benani, Mohamed Tazi et le chef opérateur Mohamed Sqad constituèrent une sorte de collectif cinématographique
09:42dont le petit budget ne couvrait que les frais matériels et techniques de la réalisation.
09:47C'est dans ce cadre que Ouichman est né et a été réalisé.
09:51Ouichman est un film qui a fait beaucoup parler de lui à l'époque.
09:54Et d'ailleurs, il a reçu un accueil critique très positif dans divers festivals,
09:58notamment à Pessaro, Berlin, Carthage, où plusieurs récompenses furent discernées.
10:03Mais il fut jugé politiquement suspect et économiquement étranglé par les distributeurs qui le refusèrent systématiquement.
10:10Ouichman, c'est l'histoire d'un enfant adopté qui trouve en Melki un père bon,
10:16mais sévère et qui souhaite élever son fils selon la seule éducation valable à ses yeux.
10:21Une éducation sévère, faite de cruels châtiments corporels.
10:25Et malgré la bienveillance d'une mère adoptive qui ne parvient pas à apaiser sa souffrance d'orphelin,
10:30Monsieur Hood s'engage sur la voie de la révolte et de la délinquance.

20:29Le film frappe par la pertinence et l'originalité de ses choix.
20:34Le noir et le blanc qui situent le film hors du temps, bien qu'il soit enraciné dans le présent des dictatures qui sont et ont été légers en Afrique et dans le monde.
20:44Daniel Koyate s'amuse même à s'attarder sur des objets du présent comme une entête parabolique, une 4L, des kalachnikovs, des motos ou des tricycles à plateau
20:54qui permettent aujourd'hui de tout transporter au Burkina tout en couvrant ses personnages d'habits et parures traditionnelles
21:01qui donne une sorte de paradoxe et qui adopte aussi la gestuelle du pièce de théâtre.
21:07Alors qu'il avait tourné en Dioula son adaptation d'un texte de l'auteur mauritanien Moussa Diaganassia, le rêve du piton.
21:14Il fait traduire ici Shakespeare en Mouret qui n'est pas sa langue d'origine mais la plus parlée au Burkina Faso.
21:21Le Mouret est si riche en images que Shakespeare se met à planer.
21:25Les concepteurs des sous-titres ont dû avoir des sueurs froids du Fulaway.
21:29Dans la symbolique des proverbes est difficile à rendre et à résumer.
21:34D'autant que Shakespeare aimait bien laisser percer la comédie derrière la tragédie
21:40et que de Dani Kouyaté s'en est saisi volontiers pour ce très beau film.
21:52Et avant de nous quitter dans l'Afrique en culture, place à la rentrée littéraire.
21:56Et en l'espace de deux livres, le Sénégalais David Diop s'est tissé au rang des grandes plumes des lettres africaines.
22:03Un talent ultra prometteur.
22:05Il nous régale cette fois-ci avec son nouveau livre, un récit emprunt d'un imaginaire et qui a fait la force de l'auteur.
22:12Ce romancier nous régale avec Où s'adosse le ciel, le titre du nouveau roman que l'écrivain vient faire paraître.
22:20Puisant son inspiration pour l'histoire et les traditions narratives africaines,
22:24David Diop retrace dans les pages de ce troisième roman le parcours d'un certain Bilal Sec.
22:31Quelque part entre l'Egypte antique et le Sénégal du 19e siècle où se déroule l'action du roman.
22:37Le protagoniste est bloqué à la Mecque où s'est vu une épidémie de choléra et ses compagnons de route l'abandonnent.
22:43Craignant qu'il n'ait été contaminé.
22:46Or Bilal qui est griot est porté par un imaginaire transmis par la grande chaîne de la parole qui le relie à ses ancêtres griots.
22:53Et sa survie dépend de sa capacité à faire sans cesse des signes que lui adresse le passé antique

23:03Un récit intelligent qui révèle selon les critiques à la fois l'épopée du conte philosophique voltarien et l'histoire du Sénégal.
