00:00And it's the Express and Star at Dunsford Road in Bearwood. This morning at 7.35, West
00:07Billidon's Fire Service received a call to say there was a house on fire. Crews from
00:15Smethwick Fire Station were here within five minutes. According to neighbours, Mr Asher
00:23Douche, said that he saw there were injuries. There was a man who was overcome by smoke but
00:32there was no serious injuries and that's what the fire service told us, that four people
00:36were led to safety. As you can see, it's a major incident. We've got people from Douche,
00:44the National Grid, so everyone's making sure electronics, I mean electric and gas, is everything
00:49okay. Looks like we've got the fire forensics people trying to work out how this fire actually
00:55started. But 7.30 on a Sunday morning, it's not what people expect to see. As I say, Mr Asher
01:04Douche said the first thing he saw was loads of ambulances, lots of noise, but he is very
01:09relieved that no one's been injured. And that's the most important thing, as these fire can
01:18take hold so quickly. And we've seen the Black Country people die of fires before. So reporting
01:27live from Dunsford Road in Bearwood, thankfully no serious injuries.
