00:00Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
00:01What does that mean?
00:02That's a line.
00:03Previously on My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
00:06It's not there.
00:07Not pregnant.
00:08I don't think I have it in me to try insemination again,
00:11because I cannot stand to fail.
00:15The view.
00:16Yeah.
00:17Whitney is in love with this place.
00:19I mean, who wouldn't want to run away and start over
00:21with their life?
00:22Isaiah and I haven't cuddled on a couch
00:24in probably six years or more.
00:26Jessica seems eager to leave Greensboro.
00:29Even though she has a whole life in Greensboro with Isaiah.
00:33I haven't had this conversation with my husband,
00:35but I just don't know how much more I can take of it.
00:37This is the first time I've heard Jessica say
00:39that maybe she's done done.
00:42I have made the decision to pivot.
00:45I signed a lease in Salem and I'm moving.
00:48You met Sabrina and Corinne and you were like,
00:50these are way better than my current friends.
00:52This is a pattern for Whitney.
00:54She gets dissatisfied with her life
00:56and she runs away from home.
00:59Hello!
00:59I'm moving to a new state.
01:01I'm embarking on something
01:02that should be really fun and exciting.
01:04All right, ladies.
01:05But Ashley is very pissed.
01:07Do we have an itinerary for this trip?
01:09She just decided this like what, two days ago.
01:11So I mean, couldn't have had too much time, huh?
01:14Lord Jesus.
01:15This is the highway to hell.
01:34Oh my butt!
01:36Don't know how much I can stand these sweatpants anymore.
01:38I think I might change in the bathroom.
01:40What?
01:40Does it feel like we have been seriously traveling for so long?
01:44Thank you for driving.
01:46Right hot out, isn't it?
01:47Muggy-like.
01:51We are only about four hours into this road trip
01:54somewhere in Virginia.
01:56And things are tense.
01:58Dad just texted.
01:59He said, are you driving all the way to Salem today?
02:01I'm going to go inside and change.
02:02If you want, I can get some water for Goose.
02:04Yeah, sure.
02:05Or the waitress can bring it out or whatever.
02:07All right, I'll be back.
02:09I'm going to go shop.
02:11Ashley is technically supporting my move to Salem
02:14by coming with me.
02:15But if she's still this pissed and she's not
02:17going to talk to me, I'm going to have to address it.
02:20OK, I feel so much better.
02:21Oh, you look.
02:22There is no way I was going to make
02:23the rest of the trip in the sweatpants.
02:24I was going to say, you look so much better.
02:25Well, I know I do.
02:26Hi, how are you?
02:27Good, how are you?
02:28Welcome to the Goose.
02:31It's been four long, excruciating hours
02:36of awkward silence.
02:37So I'm really looking forward to some kind of resolution
02:40here because so far, this has been the road trip from hell.
02:44What you got there?
02:45I don't know, this is the gift he got.
02:46He's right cute about it, isn't he?
02:47He is.
02:49Oh my god, I know what this is.
02:52He brought this home the other day with, like, the baby bed
02:55that he made, yep.
02:57Stop, that was yours?
02:58And the stuffed animals and, oh my god.
03:01I know I'm tired because I'm about to cry, Lord.
03:03No.
03:04Thank you, Derek.
03:06Thank you, Derek.
03:07This gift that my dad has given me breaks my heart a little bit
03:10because he's making it so clear that he does not want me
03:12to give up on motherhood.
03:14And I just feel like I don't have control over it.
03:18And that's such a pain point.
03:22He's just, like, now going into overdrive to make sure that I
03:24know that he thinks that I should be a mom,
03:27that that's what he wants.
03:28Is that still what you want?
03:31Yeah, and it's frustrating because, of course,
03:34it's what I want.
03:35And Angie said something to me at the party, not unlike something
03:39that you said to me that really upset me, actually.
03:42What she said or what I said?
03:43What both of you said, actually.
03:45What did she say?
03:45Although she said it a lot nicer than you said it.
03:47Well, I've known you longer, so what did she say?
03:50Like, I hope you're not making the wrong decision.
03:54I mean, I'm just going to have to say it because I don't
03:56want to spend the rest of this trip like this.
03:59I'm here.
03:59I know, but there's no point in being here
04:01if you are feeling in such a way that you can't even talk.
04:10I just feel like the way I found out and how soon,
04:15like, just a group announcement and how soon it is just very
04:20much caught me off guard.
04:23But I wanted to tell everybody at one time,
04:24and I knew there was no other time, especially with the way
04:27we don't even have friends anymore.
04:28We literally do not have a friend group anymore.
04:30So there's no way I was going to get everybody together
04:32to tell them something unless it was for my birthday.
04:34I don't necessarily feel like it
04:35had to be a group announcement.
04:37Hi, I'm sorry for interrupting you.
04:39On your hot dogs, we do have some choices for toppings.
04:43Whitney knew there would be reasonable objections to this,
04:47and she didn't want to hear it.
04:49She just wanted to do what she wanted to do.
04:51And I mean, I feel a little hurt and discarded, you know?
04:56Just thanks for the memories, everyone.
04:59I'm moving to Salem.
05:00I'm going to have new friends.
05:03I don't know how to feel about that.
05:07I guess everyone's trying to be supportive,
05:09but telling me, like, hope you're making the right decision
05:11or you're going to regret this, which is what Angie said to me,
05:13it's not helpful.
05:15And it really just makes me feel like .
05:17Because if I could be pregnant, I would be.
05:19It's not happening for me.
05:21I want to clarify.
05:23I can't clarify for Angie, but I'll clarify for me.
05:26I'm hurt and, like, taken aback by how quickly it's happening.
05:30I need time to adjust.
05:33Of course I support you.
05:34If I didn't, would I be here?
05:36Absolutely not.
05:36No, but that's why I want you to fix your attitude.
05:38Well, I was-
05:38Because I was ficused upon egregiously at my own birthday party
05:41and left to cry.
05:43I'm sorry I made you cry on your birthday.
05:45Thank you for your apology.
05:46And I do apologize.
05:47I truly did not know that you were going to be this affected.
05:49And it, in a way, does make me feel loved.
05:52In a way.
05:54It should definitely make you feel loved.
05:55Well, I'm saying I might have done the delivery
05:57a little bit differently, but thank you for caring.
06:00A little bit of that is just, like, I mean, jealousy.
06:03Like, you're just going to just uproot and go and be like,
06:06well, I'm this single, fun woman with my witchy,
06:10fun new friends in Salem, Massachusetts.
06:12And that's fair.
06:13Yeah.
06:14And I can admit that.
06:15I also feel that way.
06:15Yeah, I can admit that.
06:17You know I get territorial.
06:19We have been friends for more than half of our lives.
06:23I mean, this is not going to change that.
06:26But I think we really have to make a better effort.
06:30Well, it has to be intentional.
06:31I mean, it's going to be like that with all my relationships,
06:34you know?
06:35And I'm aware of that.
06:36It's not like it's not something I'm not thinking about.
06:39Of course, I'm thinking about my dad.
06:41Don't worry.
06:41I've got a very close eye on Glenn.
06:43Well, I know you do.
06:44But I just, you know, I do worry.
06:46And, like, the fact that he encourages me and wants me
06:49to be following my life and dreams and whatever,
06:51and I've decided to actually do it,
06:53well, that makes me feel good about myself, you know?
06:57Yeah.
06:59Leaving my life in Greensboro, I'm leaving behind
07:01a lot of wonderful things, like my father,
07:03who I do not have, you know, an infinite amount of time with.
07:07And I'm leaving my friends.
07:08And I feel like I'm really taking a leap of faith,
07:12hoping that I can find fulfillment and happiness in Salem.
07:16But I also feel like it's something that I have to try.
07:20Are we done, Ficus?
07:21Yeah.
07:22Yeah.
07:24I love you.
07:25Love you, too.
07:26Cheers to that.
07:27Cheers.
07:28I'm ready to start having some fun and get rid of the awkward silence.
07:30Cheers.
07:31OK, we don't need to relax.
07:32Cheers.
07:33Cheers.
07:34All right, cheers.
07:35Oh, my God.
07:40Can you all look at New York City?
07:42Concrete jungle.
07:42Anyway.
07:43Day one, a road trip.
07:49Day one.
07:52Oh, look at the harbor.
07:54A New England town by the water.
07:55Imagine why anybody would want to move here.
08:07This is so cute.
08:10I didn't know it was an inn.
08:11Only the best for my bitches.
08:14Oh, Goosey, we made it, baby.
08:17After a long day on the road, we have decided to stop in Connecticut.
08:21I booked us a really cute little, like, waterfront inn so that we can wake up a little bit refreshed,
08:27hopefully, before we head into Salem.
08:29Oh.
08:30Also, it's just a way to say thank you to Ashley and Jessica for coming with me.
08:35Well, we got here at the perfect time, because look at this.
08:38I got y'all the nicest view.
08:40Thank you for doing this.
08:41Oh, Whitney.
08:42Well, let's get dressed.
08:43Let's do it.
08:44Or undressed, as it were.
08:45I'm so glad Whitney thought to do this.
08:48Honestly, when we were still fighting, part of me wondered if she just, like, wanted warm bodies in the car for her road trip.
08:54So the fact that she's, like, planned this shows me that Whitney really has, like, thought about the way she wants to spend our time together before she moves away.
09:05I feel very Texas Chainsaw.
09:07And you look good, too.
09:12I didn't realize it was going to have an actual face on it.
09:14Oh, it smells good.
09:16Here, fix my face.
09:19Okay, here.
09:20I feel like you're real cute.
09:24I just feel like we're an old apartment.
09:27Oh.
09:30It's been 13 almost years, Whitney, since we've lived together in our old apartment.
09:35Is this right?
09:36Let me see.
09:38I think my face is too small for this thing.
09:43It's your mouth about it.
09:45It's your teeth.
09:48How long does this stay on for?
09:50It's uncomfortable.
09:51I, right, like it.
09:52I, right, find it soothing.
09:53And I think that this night has ended up a lot better than the morning started.
09:57Sure did.
09:58And we have made it all in one piece, and we're all on speaking terms.
10:01Nobody's ficus.
10:02No one is ficus.
10:03Goosey.
10:04That's the best part about it.
10:06I'm just personally so glad that Whitney and Ashley managed to get through all of their drama,
10:11because the tension and the awkwardness was really killing my vibes.
10:15And with all of this stuff that I'm going through in my personal life, I really could use a nice, relaxing vacation with my girlfriends.
10:21Oh, my God.
10:22Oh, wow.
10:23Yo.
10:24Have you talked to Dad?
10:25Not since, like, lunchtime.
10:26I've been calling him all day.
10:27He hasn't answered me.
10:28I'm at your house.
10:29Have you changed the, uh, the code to get in?
10:30No, it's .
10:31Did you ring the doorbell?
10:32Maybe his hearing aids are out.
10:33No, I didn't ring the doorbell, but his car is here.
10:34Let me track him.
10:35Well, who, where would he be without his car?
10:38I don't know.
10:39Oh, my face ID doesn't work.
10:40I got on a mask.
10:41Um, it says he's at home address right now.
10:45Hold on, I'll just go into the security camera, and he probably sitting there watching TV with his ears out.
10:48With his ears?
10:49Oh, I'm not.
10:50I'm not.
10:51I'm not.
10:52I'm not.
10:53I'm not.
10:54I'm not.
10:55I'm not.
10:56I'm not.
10:57I'm not.
10:58I'm not.
10:59I'm not.
11:00I'm not.
11:01I'm not.
11:02I'm not.
11:03I'm not.
11:04I'm not.
11:05I'm not.
11:06I'm not.
11:07I'm not.
11:08I'm not.
11:09I'm not his ears out.
11:10What, the hearing aids?
11:11Hunter?
11:12Hunter?
11:13What?
11:14Get in the house.
11:15He's on the floor.
11:16In the den.
11:17He's on the floor in the den.
11:18Hunter, get in there.
11:19Dad!
11:20Hunter, call 911.
11:21Call 911.
11:22I do not understand what's happening.
11:25Daddy!
11:34Hunter?
11:35He's on the floor in the den.
11:36Dad! Dad!
11:38Call 911. Call 911.
11:39Daddy!
11:40My dad is on the floor of my living room back in Greensboro.
11:44I can see him on my security camera.
11:47I can't tell if he's hurt, if he's sick, if he's even breathing.
11:50And I am hundreds of miles away from him.
11:56Did you fall down?
11:57Oh, my God, he's moving.
11:58Get up, get up, get up.
11:59Daddy? Can he hear me?
12:03Or am I hearing Hunter's phone? What am I hearing?
12:06Hunter, can you hear me?
12:07I got him off.
12:08I can see you.
12:09Are you OK?
12:11Hey.
12:14Yeah, OK.
12:17Well, I still feel funny.
12:19Glenn, did you fall?
12:21Did you fall down?
12:22I just sat down.
12:23What do you mean?
12:24Sat down?
12:25I got real dizzy, and I sat down.
12:29Is his breathing OK?
12:30Hunter, take his pulse.
12:31He seems fine.
12:33And I got some of that stuff's CBD or something.
12:37Oh, my God.
12:38Like gummies?
12:39Oh, my God.
12:40I was having some trouble sleeping,
12:43so I went into Whitney's medicine cabinet.
12:45How much did you take?
12:47Well, two or three of them.
12:49Daddy, that's not, you're not supposed to take no two or three of them.
12:52Dad?
12:53Oh, my God.
12:54I leave for one day, not even a whole 24 hours,
12:57and you're in my medicine cabinet.
12:58See, and that's our first problem.
13:00CBDs are made from the cannabis plant.
13:02You can use them for pain or to help you relax or sleep,
13:05but you're only supposed to take one.
13:07Like, what would possess you?
13:08It's obviously not candy.
13:10Like, it's in my, ah.
13:13I'm literally having a heart attack, Dad.
13:17Oh, my God.
13:18Jess, did you call that one?
13:19Not yet.
13:20He picked him up right when I was about to call.
13:22I think he's OK.
13:24We were trying to relax.
13:26So was your dad.
13:30I don't know what got into me to eat these gummies,
13:33but I really only had three of them, I think.
13:37And a half.
13:38And I noticed I was really kind of lightheaded.
13:41And next thing I know, I'm taking a nap on the floor.
13:47All right, he's laid down in the bed.
13:49He just needs to rest, I guess.
13:51Can you sleep at the house tonight?
13:52Because you know he gets up five, six times in the night
13:54to use the bathroom.
13:55He's going to get up and be disoriented.
13:56OK, well, I'll keep an eye on you.
13:58I'm trusting you, Hunter.
13:59I got it.
14:00I'll text you later.
14:01Bye.
14:02Bye.
14:03Jesus, Lord in heaven.
14:06On the CBD.
14:07Not Glenn overdosing on CBD laid out on the floor.
14:09On the CBD.
14:10Couldn't even leave his floor.
14:13Couldn't even leave him for a weekend.
14:15A day.
14:16Without Glenn floor.
14:18How often do you think you're going
14:19to be checking those cameras now?
14:21Constantly.
14:22Yeah.
14:24Well, that wasn't really what I needed
14:26the night before I decided to start my whole new life.
14:29About 1,000 miles away.
14:31This is exactly the kind of thing that I was worried about.
14:33And I know I'm going to be up all night wondering
14:35if he's going to be OK.
14:36So do I have reason to be stressed?
14:39I think so.
14:40Thank you, Glenn floor.
14:43Well, thank God he does have three standing appointments
14:45with you at the gym every week.
14:46Yeah.
14:47So if the cats are eating them,
14:48it'll only be for about 48 hours.
14:49Oh, my God.
15:01Oh, my goodness.
15:03Oh, and it's just crisp enough.
15:06As soon as I felt that breeze, I knew it was just for you.
15:09A New England breeze.
15:10I can still smell these flowers.
15:11I can still smell these flowers.
15:12I can still smell these flowers.
15:13I can still smell these flowers.
15:14I can still smell these flowers.
15:15I can still smell these flowers.
15:16Oh.
15:17Ladies, home stretch.
15:18For real, for real.
15:19We have certainly had our ups and downs on this trip.
15:22Good Lord, help us all.
15:23However, just a couple more hours,
15:25and we will be arriving to my new home
15:28in Salem, Massachusetts, which sounds so weird to say.
15:32And I cannot wait.
15:36I called Dad this morning.
15:37He didn't answer.
15:38He's in his nap spot.
15:40That's where he naps.
15:40He goes behind that shopping center and takes naps.
15:42Like in the car?
15:43Yes, he does it every day.
15:45Oh, my God.
15:46Let him nap.
15:47No, I just got to make sure he's OK.
15:50Hello?
15:51Dad?
15:52Yeah?
15:53What are you doing?
15:54Well, I'm working on some stuff that I'm consulting on.
15:59Well, I do see that you're in your nap spot.
16:02Well, I'm multitasking.
16:03I'm taking a nap and also working.
16:05OK.
16:05Dad.
16:07I knew he was taking a nap.
16:08Did you go to the gym this morning,
16:10even though you didn't have Jessica?
16:11Yes, I did.
16:12OK.
16:12I love to hear that.
16:13Thank God you've been doing the training,
16:15because remember how difficult it was for you to get down on the floor and up again.
16:19And yesterday, you were able to just get yourself down on the floor without hurting yourself.
16:24I don't remember much of that when the training kicked in.
16:28Dad was on muscle memory.
16:32All right, love you.
16:33I'll call you later.
16:34All right.
16:35Love you, bye.
16:36Bye.
16:37God.
16:39Are you getting more excited the closer we get?
16:42Yeah.
16:43Have you already relocated on the app?
16:44No.
16:45I got a couple friends up here, and now I need a man.
16:49If you find a man, you're really never coming home.
16:51Well, that might be true.
16:52Oh, look, I've got some super light.
16:53Well, that's a no and that's a no.
16:57Chad with two Ds.
16:58I can't do that.
17:00This is coming from someone who's like, I'm going to die alone.
17:04Bitch, look, this is not a 2D Chad.
17:06Just because I'm going to die alone doesn't mean I can't have the damn standards.
17:13I know that Whitney has experienced a lot of disappointment when it comes to her love life,
17:17but there's another side to that.
17:19Like, she has the opportunity to move to another place and meet new people and put herself out in a whole new dating pool.
17:26No, we've got to be in Salem.
17:27We're only seven minutes away.
17:29Are we really?
17:30When did that happen?
17:31We're only seven minutes away.
17:32To have the opportunity to start fresh, you know, I'm a little bit jealous.
17:36Oh, this is my street.
17:39This is my street.
17:40This is my street.
17:42There it is.
17:44Oh, my gosh.
17:47Look at it.
17:49Oh, wow.
17:51One little spot just for you.
17:53And the beach is just right here.
17:54Well, that's something else.
17:55Goosey!
17:56We're home!
17:58Come on, Goose!
18:00Here we are.
18:02And here she'll stay.
18:03And here she'll stay.
18:04Come on, Goose!
18:06I honestly can't believe it.
18:08Like, this is my home in Salem.
18:10I live in Salem.
18:12I feel like I have to say it out loud more to make it real.
18:15Go, Goose!
18:16We're home!
18:17I feel in my gut, like, I know I made the right decision, and that is very validating.
18:23Goosey, what do you think, girl?
18:26Oh, look at that view.
18:29You know, seeing the condo is bittersweet because it's beautiful.
18:36This is really cute.
18:38See?
18:39And honestly, it makes me a little nervous that maybe she won't come back to Greensboro because
18:45this is right up Whitney's alley.
18:47I feel like this is your style, too.
18:49It reminds me of your bathroom at your true home in Greensboro, North Carolina.
18:54You mean my primary residence?
18:57That do mean that.
18:58That works for me, too.
18:59As long as it remains primary.
19:02There is a moment of, like, sadness.
19:04Like, we're going to be leaving without Whitney at the end of this.
19:07And, you know, there's a part of me that's also just kind of living vicariously through Whitney.
19:12In this moment, she's very carefree and gets a clean slate.
19:16So I get why she wants to be here, and I'm glad she has a guest room.
19:21Isn't it just enough?
19:23It really is just enough.
19:25Tomorrow, Sabrina is having us, like, a welcome party with I don't know who.
19:31I guess her friends.
19:32Is she bringing boys for you?
19:33Maybe so.
19:34I don't know.
19:35I honestly have no idea who's going to be there.
19:36Ah!
19:37I'm already starting my new life in Salem, and I definitely have got to get out of the house.
19:41I've got to take advantage of all my invitations and opportunities.
19:44I cannot isolate anymore because this is going to be a different life than the one I had in Greensboro.
19:49You want to go upstairs?
19:51Yeah.
19:52Show us upstairs.
19:53Finish the tour.
19:54Come on, Goose.
19:55Okay.
19:56Goose, you coming or are you staying?
19:58Her just living her best life.
20:00Come on, Goose.
20:01Come on, Goose.
20:02Goose.
20:03There's something between us.
20:04We're getting in.
20:05How do you consider just seeing how things could go with a woman?
20:08I would be interested.
20:09We'll see.
20:10There may be a lot of life changes on the horizon.
20:13You can see.
20:24I hear people talking in the back.
20:25God, the girls really have nice houses.
20:27They really do.
20:28Hello.
20:29Oh, my gosh.
20:30Oh, my goodness.
20:31If it isn't the math.
20:32If it's not.
20:33If it's not.
20:34If it's not.
20:35Hello.
20:36This is what happens when you misbehave in our house.
20:38Oh.
20:39I thought you liked some misbehave.
20:41Hi.
20:42Good to see you.
20:43I'm feeling really spoiled.
20:45Sabrina is throwing a little backyard party with her friends to make me feel really welcome
20:51into Salem, and apparently some single men will also be here.
20:55Can I get you all a drink?
20:57Sure.
20:58Yeah.
20:59Look at the cake that Sabrina made you.
21:01Yeah, whiskey.
21:02I'm just so excited you're here.
21:03Where does this go?
21:04What should I put this in?
21:06Oh, my.
21:07And it's red velvet.
21:08So cute.
21:10Welcome to New England.
21:12And thank you guys for coming.
21:13I know it's kind of weird to show up to a party when you don't even know the people,
21:16but I do appreciate it.
21:17Thank you for making me feel welcome.
21:18And how do we know everybody here?
21:20Okay.
21:21Gina works at Maddie's.
21:22Yeah.
21:23The local bar.
21:24The local bar.
21:25All right.
21:26Alex owns an awesome wine shop in Beverly called The Bottle Shop.
21:29And then these are the Kelsey's.
21:31Blonde Kelsey is my friend from childhood.
21:33And this is her fiance Kelsey.
21:34So I've heard about you two on the podcast, right?
21:36Most likely.
21:37Yes.
21:38The Kelsey's.
21:39And then this is Payne, my partner who I own the house with.
21:42Yeah.
21:43This is so nice.
21:45I am so happy to have Sabrina and Corinne here in Salem.
21:48And I definitely hope to make more friends and hope to be more social, which is something
21:53that I'm definitely out of practice doing.
21:55Is this a fire pit?
21:56It is a fire pit, but we don't have firewood or starter.
22:00Right.
22:01So it's just a centerpiece.
22:02Just like you told me this is going to be a party with a lot of single men and there's
22:05no men or singles.
22:06Alex, I have a bone to pick with you.
22:07I asked Alex to bring single men and he did not.
22:10Alex, what happened?
22:11I don't really know any.
22:12And also, you don't want to date the guys that I actually do know.
22:14Everybody says that.
22:15Every time I'm like, do you have a friend?
22:16They're like, you wouldn't want them.
22:17I mean, you're pretty picky.
22:18When the first time you came and there was that really cute guy at Gulu Gulu, you should
22:21hit him up again.
22:22I don't think he was of the heterosexual persuasion.
22:24I think you're scared of love.
22:25I think you are.
22:28That's not true.
22:29You find lots of reasons.
22:30No, he wasn't straight.
22:32Maybe she meets a man up here.
22:35Nice, burly.
22:36Flannel.
22:37Flannel.
22:38Yeah.
22:39A beard.
22:40I don't know what's her type.
22:42You tell us.
22:43We'll find him.
22:44We'll find him.
22:45There's a lot of men in Boston.
22:46Yeah.
22:47Lots of them.
22:48Older dating pool too.
22:49She'll do better here.
22:50Um, I gotta go.
22:51Baby duty.
22:52No.
22:53I love you.
22:54Well, now you live here.
22:55I was gonna say, you'll see her very soon.
22:57You've had a lot of romantic moments, you two.
23:00There's something between us.
23:01Maybe that's why she's finding excuses not to be with the men.
23:07Bye, Corinne.
23:08Bye, guys.
23:09I'll see you guys soon.
23:10We'll get together.
23:11But have you, though, considered just like...
23:13Enjoyed it?
23:14Oh.
23:15Just seeing how things could go with a woman.
23:17Well, yeah.
23:18We know I've considered it.
23:19That was a long time ago, though.
23:20That was.
23:21I do prefer men, but I only had a shot at dating one woman years ago who was a friend from,
23:29like, high school, Amanda.
23:34And that was really lovely.
23:35I didn't feel like the timing was right, but honestly, it's sad that I've only dated men
23:40since because look at where that's gotten me.
23:43Well, if anyone needs an in to the lesbian scene, just let us know.
23:46No, honestly, I would be interested.
23:50Pop over to P-Town one time this summer.
23:52You never know.
23:53I'm excited about the opportunity to start somewhere fresh with a whole new dating pool.
23:58And honestly, I don't think I would rule out dating women.
24:01I mean, I never have ruled out dating women.
24:03I just feel like the right one hasn't come along.
24:07So we'll see.
24:09There may be a lot of life changes on the horizon.
24:12You can stay here.
24:13It's warm, right?
24:14This is warm.
24:15Toasty vibe.
24:16This is a warm vibe.
24:17She's a hit with all the friends already.
24:19I know.
24:20And it's hard to, like, remain salty for me about it because they are wonderful.
24:26No, they're great.
24:27But, like, I just feel like, she's never coming home.
24:29Like, I mean, I wouldn't either.
24:31I barely want to go home.
24:32I know.
24:33There's a big part of me that was, like, really sad that she was leaving because I have been,
24:39you know, reliant on her.
24:40And I know that is selfish of me to feel that way.
24:42No, it's not.
24:43That's what friendship is.
24:44Look, she's got a guest room.
24:46I'm like, maybe it can include me.
24:49Honestly, ever since we got in the car and started heading to Salem, I've even felt a
24:54sense of excitement and, you know, even a little bit of a calm come across me.
24:59When life gets overwhelming, I think the idea of picking up and starting over sounds really
25:06refreshing.
25:07And everything back home just feels so complicated right now.
25:12And things here don't feel complicated at all.
25:16And I was just wondering where y'all were.
25:18Sitting in her talking crap about you.
25:19And that's clear.
25:20Talking about how much we love you, really, though.
25:22Aw.
25:23I was just telling her how invaluable you've been since dad died.
25:25Aw.
25:26That you've been the biggest support system I've had of anybody.
25:29Well, baby.
25:30And how I'm really going to miss that.
25:32Well, it's not going anywhere.
25:33I know.
25:34Before we get emotional, do y'all want to go cut the cake?
25:38It's a homemade red bed of it.
25:40That's right at my alley.
25:41Why are you looking at me like that?
25:43Because I feel like this is going to be one of the last times I see you for a very long time.
25:46No, it's not.
25:47What do you mean?
25:48I love your new friends.
25:49I love them, too.
25:50I know you do.
25:51I have a very large heart.
25:54And inside of it, there is enough room for all my Greensboro friends and my new Salem
25:59friends.
26:00Here, do it with me.
26:01Like a wedding.
26:02Like a wedding.
26:03Oh my God, a wedding.
26:04A wedding.
26:05A wedding.
26:06Wait, where are we doing it?
26:08Don't you need to go down the middle?
26:09Sure.
26:10Okay, are we doing it?
26:14There is no one that can replace Ashley and Jessica in my life.
26:20But there may be some stiff competition.
26:22This is really good.
26:23Humble, too.
26:24You are.
26:25You are.
26:26Nobody's ever been as cute as you are.
26:40It's never been anyone as cute as you are.
26:43Look at Whitney.
26:44Honestly, I would have expected her to still have been in bed.
26:49Goosey want a jog?
26:50Goosey want a jog?
26:52Is she running?
26:53She's running.
26:54She's a whole new woman.
26:55She just took off.
26:56Oh my God.
26:57Weather like today would normally make me want to stay inside the house, but I'm a new
27:03person.
27:04Being here is making me want to get out along the beach to go for a jog slash walk, a wog,
27:09if you will, with Goosey.
27:11Go, girl.
27:12I am Coastal Whitney.
27:15Oh.
27:16Well, well.
27:17Good morning.
27:18Whitney Way walks.
27:19Good morning.
27:20Y'all looked like you were having the time of your life.
27:23Well, weren't we?
27:24Come on, Amy.
27:25I'm going to go FaceTime my kids.
27:28If y'all don't mind, I know you're talking about breakfast or something.
27:31We'll go when you get back.
27:32All right.
27:35Oh my God.
27:37Y'all are gross.
27:38Look at how sweet you are.
27:40Okay.
27:41Try my lobster pop.
27:44Speaking of lobster, I had four lobster rolls last night.
27:47Did you?
27:48At the party.
27:49I did.
27:50Oh, I should send this to Sabrina.
27:51Oh my God.
27:53You seem like you've already acclimated very well here.
27:55Mm-hmm.
27:56Yeah.
27:59Feeling a little conflicted.
28:01About what?
28:02Just about?
28:04Um, I don't know.
28:07A lot of things.
28:08Being up here, this is kind of like the best I've felt in a long time.
28:14Yeah.
28:15And that, I don't know, it kind of makes me feel sad.
28:18Like?
28:19Like that I don't feel good at home.
28:22Mm.
28:23It's like a really scary thing to address, you know?
28:26Life has just been really heavy for me, you know, with my business and the loss of my dad.
28:33And I'm feeling a lot of pressure in my marriage, you know, with my fertility journey.
28:40So, it just feels easier to be here than it does at home right now.
28:46And I know that Isaiah is gonna be 100% supportive of me and how I feel, but I just don't wanna disappoint him by telling him that I just feel like I need a break.
28:58I don't know, it kind of makes me feel sad.
29:15Like?
29:16Like that I don't feel good at home.
29:19Mm.
29:20I feel like I have a lot of reasons to stay, I just don't feel like they're my reasons, you know?
29:26Mm-hmm.
29:27You know, the gym is obviously really important to me.
29:30Of course.
29:31But it's important to me because it was important to my dad, you know?
29:33Of course.
29:34Of course.
29:35I feel like a lot of what's going on in my life I've done because I felt like that's what other people expected and wanted from me, you know?
29:41Yeah.
29:42It has been obvious to me that Jessica has been going through it.
29:47Obviously, she's still deeply grieving the loss of her dad and, you know, she's been struggling to conceive with Isaiah and I think that she's hurting and I just really wanna hear her out.
29:58Honestly, I mean, I've been trying for three years.
30:01I just don't know how much more I can take.
30:04Yeah, I know.
30:05Physically and emotionally and mentally.
30:09This infertility journey has been a huge struggle for me.
30:15The trauma from losing two babies.
30:18You know, we've continued trying ever since and haven't been able to conceive since my last miscarriage.
30:25I feel like a lot of those emotions got put on the back burner and, you know, since dad died, it just feels like it's all coming to the surface now.
30:36I think it couldn't hurt to, I don't know, try something new and just see how I feel, you know?
30:42I have a bedroom.
30:43You are welcome here and no matter where you go physically, I'm with you.
30:49But I would love it if you were here.
30:51Because people need somebody to lean on sometimes.
30:53Yeah.
30:54I don't know.
30:55It does feel good to be up here.
30:56You wanna just stay?
30:57Maybe for a little bit.
30:58Just stay.
30:59Yeah, just stay.
31:00Maybe.
31:01Yeah, girl.
31:02I do have a lot of responsibilities still at home, you know, to my husband, to my mom, to my business.
31:11And I know that it kind of feels like just running away from all of that.
31:17But I feel like I just need to be able to breathe so that I can reflect and make the right choices.
31:26And I hope that Isaiah can understand that I just need some time to be able to be happy and move on in a healthy, productive way.
31:42Oh, my God.
31:43Are we really doing this?
31:46I'm gonna have to make a lot of phone calls.
31:49Goosey got two mommies.
31:51What?
31:52Goosey got two mommies?
31:53Well, we have news.
31:56I think I'm gonna stay here for a little bit.
32:00I think that would be really good for you.
32:02Yeah?
32:03Yeah.
32:04You don't think I'm crazy?
32:05No.
32:07Jessica obviously needs a shoulder to cry on and someone to listen to her without judgment and to validate that she can take her time to figure out what it is exactly that she wants and needs.
32:19And I want to be that friend to her because she's always been that kind of friend for me.
32:23Let me see what you think about this.
32:25So the kids are fine.
32:26Mm-hmm.
32:27They were eating lunch at the Science Center.
32:29So my cousin took them and my cousin's like best friend.
32:32And she was a pretty overweight girl just like her whole life.
32:34And she got married a couple years ago and was trying to have kids and could not.
32:38And then she got on the GLP-1s just for weight loss.
32:42Dropped 40 pounds like that and then found out she was pregnant and had to stop real quick.
32:46Cause like she didn't get on it to get pregnant.
32:48Well you can't.
32:49I mean you're not supposed to be on it if you're pregnant.
32:50Apparently her doctor said it was probably just that the shot regulated her hormones.
32:54Her hormones, yeah.
32:55And like regulated her insulin.
32:57Well good for her.
32:58Is that something you would even begin to consider?
33:01Just doing a GLP-1?
33:02Yeah.
33:03If it could help with the fertility.
33:06Well.
33:08GLP-1s are medication for type 2 diabetes.
33:12But they are also very popular weight loss drugs.
33:16And with PCOS I deal with hormone imbalances, weight issues, insulin resistance, fertility problems, obviously.
33:25GLP-1s are supposed to help that and they're supposed to lower inflammation.
33:29And that is exciting.
33:31I'm not going to say it's not.
33:32That feels interesting to me.
33:33So.
33:34I don't know.
33:37I don't know.
33:38That's so fraught.
33:40I mean I would not think twice about it if it were to do something medically to me that
33:46could help me get pregnant.
33:47I wouldn't think anything of it.
33:49Honestly I've never even let myself consider it because I felt like I wasn't really allowed
33:54to.
33:55Cause I will get for it if I do it.
33:56Anybody who wants to be upset about you being on a medicine that's literally created for
34:00your demographic has this.
34:01That's true.
34:02They're wrong.
34:03I know but it's just about people being fat and then you know.
34:05It gives the impression that you no longer want to be fat and that you're just doing
34:09it for appearances.
34:10Right.
34:11You know I know how it is when a fat person with a very public profile who has not hated
34:18themselves from being fat loses weight whether intentionally or not.
34:21I mean they get ripped apart.
34:23And the last thing on earth I would want is for a choice like going on a GLP-1.
34:27If that would cause people to criticize me or question my motivations because I've lived
34:33in this body and lived this identity for 20 years and it's been incredibly meaningful
34:37to me and given me something to fight for and I would never abandon that.
34:41Ever.
34:42That will never change.
34:43Never.
34:44I have one more vile of sperm that I can have sent up here.
34:49But I said I was done.
34:50So whatever.
34:51But see with this thing if I wasn't done if I were to get on a GLP-1.
34:55Yeah.
34:56How long do I have to be on it and then how long do I have to be off of it and then how
34:59long before I can start trying because at that point am I going to be 45 or.
35:02That sounds like a question for your doctor.
35:03If you're really open to it I think it's worth a conversation with a professional.
35:07I'm going to make an appointment because I have a really good online doctor that I use.
35:13Wow.
35:14Would I consider taking a GLP-1 just to lose weight?
35:18Probably not.
35:19But would I consider a GLP-1 if it could help me get pregnant?
35:28Yeah.
35:29Yeah I would.
35:30Does that make me a traitor to the body positivity movement?
35:35I don't know what it means.
35:37But life is too short to not pursue what I want and in any way that I see fit.
35:45Here's what I know though.
35:46You can't let any haters or anybody who would judge you for being on a GLP-1 dictate the decisions
