00:00After World War I, the League of Nations was created in 1919 to maintain peace.
00:06However, it lacked the participation of key powers like the U.S.
00:10and failed to prevent aggression from countries such as Japan, Italy, and Germany in the 1930s.
00:17Its inability to stop World War II highlighted the need for a stronger, more effective international body.
00:23The war, 1939 to 1945, caused massive destruction and tens of millions of deaths.
00:30The world was shot by the Holocaust and the atomic bombing of Japan,
00:34which made it even more important to stop future conflicts on a global scale.
00:39Leaders realized that international cooperation and collective security were necessary for maintaining peace.
00:45The Allies, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, China, and others
00:51began discussing a new international system during World War II.
00:56In 1941, the Atlantic Charter between Roosevelt and Churchill set principles for peace and security.
01:03In 1942, 26 nations signed the Declaration of the United Nations,
01:08committing to fight together against the Axis powers
01:10and laying the foundation for post-war cooperation in 1944.
01:15The U.N.'s fundamental structure was drafted at the Dumbarton Oaks Conference in Washington, D.C.
01:21In April 1945, the San Francisco Conference brought together representatives from 50 nations
01:27to finalize the U.N. Charter.
01:29The Charter was signed on June 26, 1945, and the U.N. officially came into existence on October 24, 1945.
01:37Now celebrated as United Nations Day,
01:40The U.N. was established to
01:42Maintain international peace and security
01:45Promote friendly relations among nations
01:48Work together to find solutions to problems in the areas of culture, society, the arts, and humanitarian aid
01:55Uphold human rights and fundamental freedoms
01:58In short, the United Nations was created because the world had witnessed two devastating world wars in less than 30 years
02:05And there was a strong global demand for a permanent organization
02:09that could prevent future wars, promote peace, and foster international cooperation
02:13Keeping this U.N. cause in mind,
02:16there are numerous instances in which the United Nations has failed to implement its law in numerous countries
02:21Where war and genocide continue
02:24Especially in Palestine
02:25The Israeli Prime Minister broke all laws
02:28Including international court justice
02:31On daily basis, Israeli jets destroying Gaza
02:34And knee-boring cities
02:35Genocide innocents peoples of Gaza
02:38And unable to send humanitarian aids into Gaza
02:41The question arises why
02:43This is not a simple question
02:44Humans are dying by bombardment
02:47And with hunger with Israeli-made famine
02:49In the history of modern world, this is the first time ever we are watching live genocide in Gaza
02:54Which just continues
02:55And all peace provider countries
02:57And United Nations leaders are quite
02:59They are only conducting so-called meetings
03:02And condemn only in papers
03:04And as soon as zeer in God for prayer
03:14In depression
03:15And many of them
03:16Inker
03:16Day
03:17Then
03:18They are also telling us
03:20Inucharist
03:21God
03:21For prayer
