00:00We'll now look at the other big matchup taking place in SMU.
00:04The Mustangs are three-and-a-half-point home favorites against Baylor.
00:08We saw Baylor go toe-to-toe for basically three quarters with Auburn.
00:12They lost that matchup as a two-and-a-half-point underdog coach.
00:16They now go on the road.
00:18I like what I saw out of Sawyer Robertson.
00:20I know I'm picking dogs here, but I believe Baylor's the better team in this ballgame.
00:26Well, I'm at the dog pound with you because I'm picking dogs, too.
00:28Sawyer Robertson, he threw for 417 or 419 yards against Auburn.
00:33This is too good of a Baylor team to be 0-2.
00:37And, again, SMU at home in the last 16 home games, they're 15-1.
00:42Kevin Jennings, the quarterback, does an outstanding job,
00:45is one of the top returning quarterbacks in the conference.
00:47But they lost nine starters on defense.
00:50Then they won a lot of close ballgames.
00:52And I think Baylor's going to win this football game.
00:55They are a very good team.
00:57And, again, Sawyer Robertson was probably statistically the second-best quarterback
01:00in the conference last year in the Big 12.
01:03And they're going to contend for the conference championship again this year.
01:07So, again, I like SMU.
01:10Great home-field team.
01:11But I think Baylor's the better football team right now.
01:15I agree with that.
01:16And I think we do get through the 63-and-a-half.
01:19I just think when you look at both defenses and how they like to play up-tempo,
01:23I believe in Sawyer Robertson.
01:25He looked confident against an SEC opponent.
01:28I think if there is one maybe weakness of Baylor,
01:31they allow Jackson Arnold, who wasn't thought of as being an athletic quarterback
01:36to the degree of rushing for 138 yards on the ground,
01:40that defense needs to shore up,
01:42especially if Kevin Jennings catches the edge in this matchup.
01:48Still believe that we get over the total.
01:50But if you're SMU, are you attacking over the top with Jennings?
01:53Or are you potentially utilizing some RPO looks in this matchup?
01:58Well, I think one of his strengths is the big play, the deep ball.
02:02And I think both of those have to be a part of the game.
02:05But if you're going to win a tight ball game,
02:06in any way you look at this game,
02:08it's projected to be a tight football game.
02:11Turnovers and explosive plays are the key to any big football game.
02:16So I think you've got to expect some big plays downfield out of Kevin Jennings.
02:22And then also, I think you've got to make the quarterback.
02:26Sawyer Robertson, you've got to get after him.
02:28Don't let him control the football game,
02:30because he's too good of a quarterback.
02:32The other team I want to mention in the ACC is Stanford.
02:36We saw them lose their week one matchup to Hawaii on the road.
02:41And you and I had talked about maybe how Frank Wright could potentially be
02:45as an interim head coach.
02:47We know from a talent level, they're not there.
02:49But they do play BYU this weekend, significant underdogs.
02:53Is there anything that you saw out of Stanford in their week one matchup
02:57that potentially can carry on the road in Provo?
02:59I wish I could have seen more.
03:02The fact is, they were a walk-off field goal from going into overtime at a game
03:08against Hawaii.
03:09And that was a tough place for them to play.
03:11Would have been a great start.
03:13But ultimately, they've been 3-9 the last four years in a row.
03:17They're in a transition.
03:19Interim head coach, Faze.
03:20BYU, I mean, BYU's probably going to name their score.
03:24I don't think they have a – I think BYU is going to score and score big in this
03:28football game.
03:29And if it's an over, it's going to be mostly all BYU's points.
03:33The other matchup that I want to get into briefly is Bill Belichick.
03:37He was embarrassed on Monday night in front of a primetime audience as a 3.5-point home dog.
03:43They now are at home laying 19-and-a-half against Charlotte.
03:48Could Max Johnson, Gio Lopez, and that quarterback by committee potentially get the victory
03:54and, more importantly, coach, get the road win over the Charlotte 49ers?
04:00Well, I don't think Charlotte – Charlotte's a good one to come back and have a chance
04:03to get your win against if you're North Carolina.
04:06It's what they need.
04:07But there's a whole bunch of problems there.
04:09I think the one – the team that you really wonder what's going on is North Carolina
04:14because everything they told people would happen, everything they led you to believe
04:18would happen, did not happen.
04:20A brand-new staff, 70 new players.
04:24And I was always saying – and, Joe, you knew that what was – what is Bill Belichick's
04:29motive for going to North Carolina?
04:30Is he actually going to go there and try to build them and take them to a level they've
04:34never been?
04:35Or has he got his sons on the staff and tried to plan for their future and had a couple – had
04:41four tough years in the NFL and really couldn't get a job?
04:45I just – to be honest, I don't know exactly what's going on.
04:48It was so bad in their first performance and such a disappointing – I don't – I think
04:53this game, they'll get their win.
04:55And there's a couple of wins.
04:56Their schedule's not terrible.
04:58What I'm just saying is there's a whole lot of concerns, including quarterback, on that
05:02team.
05:02That's it?
05:05I'm going to go to Dallas.
05:05Okay.
05:06I'm going to start off right now.
05:07I'll get back to Dallas.
05:07I'm going to go to Dallas.
05:09We're going to have Mick Amber.
05:11I want a team to do that.
05:12I'm going to be in Dallas.
05:18Well, I'm going to be in Dallas.
05:22I'm going to be in Dallas.
05:23And I'm going to be in Dallas.
05:24I'm going to be in Dallas.
05:26Oh, yeah.
05:28And here's the one.
05:28My friends, Dios, it's just a little bit of time on that.
