00:00A lot of questions. I don't know what we're going to do on time here.
00:02Have you guys talked to your Senate counterparts on this?
00:05I mean, I know Senator Hawley's bill does include the executive branch,
00:08so have you guys had those cross-chambles conversations about this?
00:12Yeah, I'll say from my end of the spectrum, we certainly have.
00:15We've talked to Josh, we've talked to folks over in the Senate,
00:18and we're kind of collaborating in broad terms about moving the issue forward.
00:22Again, the legislative process, move it forward.
00:24Get the ideas on the table, then let the process work.
00:27But again, the critical element here is that the Speaker and our leadership move it forward.
00:32Get it in regular order.
00:33Otherwise, you don't get to have those debates and those amendments,
00:36and then we have to figure out how we're going to move it, but we're going to move it.
00:38If I can just add a story real quick.
00:40We also, too, made really sure that there were no loopholes that people could exploit and get out of
00:44if they're caught doing this.
00:46And so when we say that we brought the best of all this legislation forward,
00:50that's exactly what we did.
00:51So this is the best shot we have.
00:53Slimest majority in U.S. history, bipartisan support.
00:55I can speak for myself, but I think there would be a lot of Americans supporting
00:59shutting down the House floor to any legislation until Congress can undo a lot of the corruption
01:05that currently exists here, and it starts with this bill.
01:07So they've called votes.
01:08We're going to take a couple more votes.
01:10I'll just say real quick on the Senate.
