Malacañang refused to give a comment on the new proposal that seeks to cut the age requirement for president, vice president, and senators, saying President Marcos needs to see the whole proposal first.

Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said they cannot say for now whether the President is in favor of the proposal or not.

00:13Kung ano man po ang kanilang ninanais na gawing batas, mas mainam po talaga kung ano man po ang detalye ay maipakita sa Pangulo bago po magkaroon ng reaksyon.
00:23Hindi po natin masasabi kung ito'y positibo o negatibo hanggat hindi po nakikita ng Pangulo kung ano man yung detalye dito.
