00:00The next economic forum in Karpacz, often called the Polish Davos, has just come to an end.
00:06This year's edition attracted around 6,000 participants from Poland, but also from various parts of Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the United States and Asian countries.
00:17The goal for over 30 years remains the same, to create a platform for dialogue and bring together, in one place, to the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains,
00:26people with decisive politicians, business leaders, scientists, technology experts, defense and space industry representatives.
00:35This year's theme was What Future for Europe? The forum featured over 600 panels, including two co-organized by Euronews,
00:43one on the EU budget and another one on the renaissance of crafts.
00:48During the forum, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced Poland's advancement to the group of the world's 20 largest economies.
00:54This is a signal that the region and events like the Economic Forum may be gaining in importance,
01:01especially since the challenges remain similar, an aging society, migration and climate crisis
01:07and still unresolved global conflicts such as those in Ukraine or the Middle East.
01:13Karpacz, Aleksandra Gałkareczko for Euronews.
