00:00The palace said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will first need to review the complete details of the proposal to lower the age requirement for president, vice president and senators before giving any comment.

00:12Palace press officer Claire Castro explained it would be premature to react without a full briefing.

00:18The measure filed by the House Younguns under resolution of both houses No. 2 seeks to reduce the minimum age from 40 to 35 for president and vice president and from 35 to 30 for senators.

00:32The palace also emphasized that any decision will depend on the full presentation of the proposal.
